C and J Autoglass

Recently had the misfortune of having a tree branch fall on my windshield while driving, cracking it beyond repair. I called a number of shops all of which were going to require me to bring my vehicle in as they claimed my windshield would require calibration to be properly replaced. After a few more calls I came across C & J and their quote was not only 40% cheaper, they were going to be able to come to my house for the work. The owner reassured me that it was extremely unlikely that a calibration would be needed and if it were, it could be done afterwards at a shop. As money is tight right now, I decided to give it a try and I could not be happier that I did. It has been a few weeks since they replaced my windshield, but none of my sensors or instruments have had any issue. The tech arrived and performed the work in a timely manner. All in all, I could not be more pleased with my experience with C&J and will gladly recommend them to my friends and family who need glass work for their vehicles!

I am not one to post reviews but I think folks should be warned about the service provided here. First I will say the installer could not guarantee the work because of previous leakage and rust, I get that, but even the shattered windshield did not leak as bad as when he was finished. He said he applied some paint to the rusty area but apparently without trying to clean it up first { must not own a wire brush } but worse of all was saying he would come back to apply glue on the inside and never hearing back from him. I called to report this only to find out the installer was also the owner! Tried to support a local family owned business and got screwed. He was in a hurry to install, take the money and run. Very happy with C&J! I called C&J on a Friday after getting the run around by another company after they rescheduled my appointment 3 times. C&J got me on the schedule for the following Monday. The man (didn’t get his name) showed up right on time at my house and worked quickly in the heat of the afternoon to diagnose the problem with my car window. Even though I had the parts on hand just in case, he figured out nothing needed replaced, the window was just off the track! After 45 minutes he had everything fixed up and saved me $200 in parts I get to return. Hopefully I don’t have any more issues with my car windows, but if I do, I’ll call C&J first from now on!

They were able to find a replacement windshield for my 1987 Toyota MR2, and managed to fix issues with a previous windshield replacement (prior to my ownership of the car). I called C&J on Wednesday, 08/21/24 to set up an appointment. I sent my VIN number to match my windshield. I stayed home all day on a Saturday waiting. I asked at 9:23 am when someone would show up. Total waste of a beautiful day waiting. I texted at 4:05 p.m., guessing they weren't showing up. Amazingly, they could finally answer! I will find someone reliable to change my windshield. Quite the shame since this place was recommended to me.

I was told they would be here no later 1030. At 1115, while I was on an errand, they called and said they were on their way. They were 10 minutes away. An hour and 15 minutes later, I get a phone call from the tech stating they can't find my house. They have the wrong address. I had given them the new address when I scheduled the appointment. Now it's raining, so they cannot do the job. This has been a goat rope from the beginning.

They were very kind and had great attention to detail. They brought me at ease with their professionalism and quality work. Also, they are decently priced and worked with me on timing. Called and everyone that I talked to was super friendly and helpful. The man that came out and installed my rear window on my equinox did an awesome job and got all the glass out of my trunk area within an hour! Super cheap for the great work they did!!
