Albany Auto Glass

Revised review based on the owner's comment. First, the actual glass fill was done well and is still holding. My windshield, however, was washed with a dirty rag and was all smeared. This might not normally be a big deal but my washer fluid doesn't work. My actual review was based on the customer service I received... which is a huge part of the experience. The appointment time was not honored either time. I also believe you popped into the waiting room where I was sitting with another customer just after we were told our cars would not be taken back for ANOTHER 30 minutes. This would have been a GREAT time for you to introduce yourself and build a "relationship" with your customers. I LOVE small businesses and am ABSOLUTELY not bashing during these hard times. And I am also not looking for attention... I am just letting people know your customer service is terrible. I don't care what your building LOOKS like.... I care about the way I was treated. .....UPDATE: You DID stick your head into the waiting room and gave a greeting but didn't wait for a reply before you went back into the "trim" area and talked for a while with a lady back there.... loudly... about "when I bought this place..." which is how I guessed it was most likely you. And I am not talking about your servicemen or their work or time. I am talking about taking cars back that had no appointment [it is what we were told on both occasions] KNOWING you had an appointment on the way. I have years in the insurance business and my mother managed a collision shop for 40 years. I am glad to hear you are working on your timing and hopefully your customer service.

Poor workmanship, very little professionalism. The men were asked to let us know when they arrived, but three times we found it being worked on without our notice. They used pieces of old cardboard to make a template. And now there's a long windshield scratch and red substance left on the hood. Will never call them again. 7/29/25 Follow up review. Larry, the owner of Albany Auto Glass, called to address our concerns. I (Jay) took the Toyota to him. He was able to rub out the red material on the hood, and clear the windshield of what appeared to be a light scratch. On the second issue of his mobile team neglecting to call before coming to work on our other vehicle, he assured me that he would speak to his team to be sure that does not occur with other customers. Our preference is always to support local family businesses when possible. We appreciated Larry's effort to make things right. Had a last minute job and knowing the current situation on not having enough help, These people were awesome, from the beginning phone call to end picking up the car. The price was very reasonable, the service was excellent, and yes, the people in the office were busy, but they took care of my needs. Kudos to the gang there. Being a small business owner myself, I know the importance of service, I have read some of their reviews, I didn't see what those "one star" reviewers said. Like on our reviews, you're going to get "trolls" best way to beat them is showing to your current customers that you aren't representative of those reviews, and I think you guys killed it. Larry and his wife took great care of my daughters car in a matter of hours. I live in Gwinett and my daughter attends albany state, and just recently had an accident with a rock hitting and shattering her sunroof. As a worried parent, they put me at ease, the generosity, and being so kind even when I called them day after day, to get things handled with my insurance company is just amazing! Got a chip in my windshield. Presslie at State Farm recommended Albany Auto Glass. Top notch company and employees from start to finish. Judy in the office very helpful in getting me the right windshield and explaining the replacement process. She worked hard at keeping me informed during the whole process. Hardy and Jake arrived at my house right on time. Got to work immediately. Very courteous and knowledgeable. In no time I had a brand new OEM windshield installed. They even saved my oil reminder sticker from my old windshield. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing auto glass work. Thanks guys.

So I called Tuesday morning, got a quote Tuesday afternoon, paid my fees Wednesday and they installed my windshield Thursday 💪🏽! Price was the cheapest in town and way cheaper than safelite. The techs even put my decal on after installing my windshield. The phone support was awesome and the last was so nice and professional. The work is amazing, glass quality is A1, they even came to my home for installation, free of charge 🙌🏽! The manager, Sarah and the technician (didn't get his name) were both were both friendly to me and all the other customers in the office on 8/16/21. I went there hoping to get a future appointment, but the tech said I can do it now if you can wait. When he had finished he was very eager for me to be happy with his work and I was. I applied for a online quote and never heard from them!! So he responded that he didn't get my quote so I sent another one and he told me since I gave him a bad review I could take my business somewhere else. You should never use this sorry place. The people are not friendly or respectful!!!!! Mr Robertson who's son that handles online quotes is a lier. I WOULD USE HARRY'S.

Just purchased a 2002 Chevy Avalanche that needed the old windshield replaced - badly pitted and leaking. Called Albany Auto Glass on 1/24 and they had me in the next morning at 8:30! Great service - very professional and work is second to none. Windshield looks great and noise level greatly reduced! Highly recommended without reservation..

I absolutely love the customer service at Albany Auto glass! They were super nice always followed up on phone calls and did their best to find me a good deal.
