I was a first time customer and had high expectations for Safelite, so I was very surprised by my unpleasant experience. There was poor communication and service quality throughout my experience. I scheduled my appointment and I paid for my service up front in full. To my surprise I got an email the day before stating that I will have to be rescheduled. I received no calls, texts or emails with any details about the rescheduling. I had to call the following morning to find out why and what was my rescheduled time. I was then promised that the part was not in stock and had to be ordered. It was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday and my new appointment was the following day on Wednesday for the same time. I received several confirmation texts and emails for my appointment the day before, which was on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning I received the “your technician is on their way” text and email with the details for my service technician. During my scheduled time slot, I received a call from the technician stating that he could not find my part and that the window was not there. And, he didn’t know why. Then, I was advised that I would have to be rescheduled again. The technician also stated that he notified the supervisor and that I should be hearing from them shortly. I was highly disappointed and upset at this last minute notice. After five hours of no response from the supervisor, I called and canceled my order. I still haven’t received any updates or apologies from the supervisor or company for my poor experience.

Safelite is the worst company ever I have dealt with. I initially called them about a back windshield that needed replacing in my car,gave this company the vin number of my vehicle when placing the order. They come out to install glass and after getting the glass in the tech realized it was the wrong glass for my vehicle because of my defrosters for back window so then he had to order another back window for my vehicle. After waiting another month for my window ( back ) to be installed the morning of tech calls me and lets me know after three windows they order only the original one would work because it's the only one that would hook to the connectors for my defroster to work which would cost me about $1300.00. And i told them I'm not paying $1300.00 for a back window on a 17 year old car. I gave them the vin number originally and had they had people in their call center that actually knew what they were doing they could have quoted me that price from the start and I would have never used them. The people at the location whom I dealt with in Brunswick Georgia Kurt and Rajiva was very rude and they lie on you to their techs to make themselves look good. I will never ever use this company again so now I have a back window with no defrosters working. I felt like I was scammed and they just want me pay 1300.00 for a window. Please if you are in Georgia do not use them because you would have to deal with their Brunswick Georgia location and the people their are very rude and Lie on you ‼️ Beware Buyers

They don't deserve a star,worst customer service ever from Leslie she don't have any place in customer service I've been in customer service 39 years and never would treat anyone that way not even an enemy ,she expects to be happy that nick the tech ha ha left my car unusable first he takes my windshield out tells me I have a problem I need a body shop after his first words were he didn't do it leaving me believe he did so after taking my windshield out tells me can't put another one in because of a piece of metal that he cut I got many professional opinions on that metal was silver and sharp indication fresh cut ,couldn't put windshield in ,so I'm upset so he puts clear wrapp on half my windshield leaving my dash out in the eliminates and rain was. Coming I had to go to work couldn't go cause now I have no windshield and it's Saturday afternoon so he left me worse spot than I was I could drive with crackin it but not with no windshield,so professional and respect there was none customer beware , customer beware customer beware,got it fixed today no problems professional people at the other place that I had seen it to so they will get s great reveiw i will tell everyone about Safelite i thought i was in good hands man was i wrong ,crocked business very poor everything everytme i hear or say safelite i feel sick custmer beware they dont care about you and leave you worse off in the end customer beware

What a joke! Pay the extra $$ and use locally owned businesses. I did an online order with an exact appointment date and time, and got multiple text messages confirming my appointment over the next week, then two hours after the scheduled appointment they have a tech call and state he is not coming as scheduled and couldn’t tell us when he could come, because he had more than he could do. We took this particular vehicle out of service for this day, because it was going for a DOT inspection the following day, with drivers getting their CDL licenses, we ended up having to rent a truck at the last minute pay extra $$$ for insurance to cover the driving test… To top it off they said they had my windshield in stock, I had a local guy that would install it but they wouldn’t sell me the windshield. I will never use Safelite again and strongly recommend that if you need glass service, search for a locally owned business.ServicesService not listed

Scheduled a repair for a small chip. Tech calls me to look at the windshield. The original small chip now has about a 4 inch crack added to the chip. In addition to that there is a new unrelated 14 inch crack across the bottom of my windshield. Tech blames me because it's hot and I should've parked in the shade. He then tells me this happens about 1 in 20 times. But "I hope you don't ding me too bad on my survey.4 days later and about 20 phone calls later including 4 messages to Renee Cachillo CEO they finally agreed to replace my windshield. The day of the 2nd appt the tech calls and says he is in the way and will arrive in 30 minutes. I leave work 20 minutes later. Two hours later ni tech, no call...Run from this company. Bad customer service at all levels. Their 3.5 review is generous...They should be ranked a 1.

The windshield replacement was fine but my windshield molding was messed up in the removal process. They tried to cover it up and not say anything and then my windshield molding piece flew off my car on my way to a soccer game for my kid. It's somewhere on the side of the road in Alabama. I called to tell them and they are ordering the parts but I was told that fixing my windshield molding was not a priority. They are going to get to me when they can. So now I am having to drive around without windshield molding pieces and listening to constant wind blowing on each side of my car. Its is a true inconvenience and poor workmanship of the technician Gwin.

No customer service. Had an appointment with a span of 8 to 5. They can not get into my place of employment so I had my wife drive me to work and pick me up so I could leave my vehicle home. Nobody showed and nobody called or messaged. You can not call the local shop to inquire, you get a message to go online then it hangs up on you. When I got ahold of their customer service they did not know what happened and said well we can get back to you next week with no promise somebody would show.ServicesAuto windshield repair

I had Cory that did my windshield job for me, and he was awesome. Cory was very nice and friendly from the time he drove up until he left. We talked about all kinds of things, he explained to me what he had to do. Safelite might have somebody as good as Cory, but I don't think that they have any one better than him. If I ever have any more auto glass work done, I hope that I get Cory.

This window replacement service was phenomenal! My technician George did a wonderful job from start to finish. Everything the pre-service video stated about the process and what to expect was exactly what I got. The technician arrived on time, and got my windshield replaced in less time than I expected. I would highly recommend this service if you need a window replacement!

Safelite has repaired 2 of our vehicles in the last 2 yrs. They are always on time, professional, quick, and friendly. We have never had an issue after the work is done. Highly recommend them to anyone needing a crack filled or windshield replaced, as we have had both. Love that they come to my home or work to fix it, and I don't have to do anything! You guys rock!
