ABC Auto Glass of Florida

I originally had an appointment with a very large automotive glass company to replace my broken window. I called the large company a total of five times to get the quote, finalize the appointment and finally cancel everything. Each call involved four minutes of dealing with the automated answering system before I got to talk to a human. I received a quote of $320. They sent a preliminary invoice a day latter for $320 plus a $34 up charge “disposal fee”. Initially I had to wait four days for the glass to come in for the installation. I drove a half hour to get it installed only to find the glass would not be in for another week. They did not call . I canceled. After checking quotes and availability from other installers I choose ABC Auto Glass of Florida in Holiday. I told them nothing of my previous experience with the large automotive glass installer. The owner, Randy, answered the call right away, quoted me $220 with no disposal fee. Got the part in and the job done the next day. I have since gotten to know Randy and ABC a little better I know he has worked on everything from my 2004 Ford F-150 to new Mercedes and Lamborghini ‘s. I reached out to ABC auto glass spoke with Randy about replacing the rear window of my vehicle. Felt really good about the quoted price and the quick service. Unfortunately the window has been leaking since installed. I reached out to ABC and immediately Randy started yelling at me that its my fault. With out even asking to check to see what the problem could be. Only that it was bot his fault the window leaked ever since he installed the new glass. Horrible customer service. Until Randy himself actually checks on the window i will not change my stance that this has to be a horrible install job. Update as of September 5, 2019. After two weeks still no response. I had another company inspect the window Randy installed. Found several locations where the the urethane did not seal to the glass. Which caused a severe leak in the back window down under the back seat. Randy does not stand by his own work. I would recommend you find another company to fix any of your auto glass issues.

My windshield had a very large crack. Not realizing that Florida requires the insurance company to pay for windshield replacements I had received a quote from a large nationwide competitor that was very expensive. I contacted Randy and he gave me a much more reasonable quote. After that I found out that the insurance company would cover it the day before my appointment and he was very flexible to change to work with the insurance company. It wasn’t five days later that I was driving home and a small rock hit my new windshield and chipped it pretty good. I called Randy and he was willing to let me stop by his home 10 minutes later and he repaired the chip for free. I couldn’t possibly have asked for better service. Randy has replaced a few windshields in our fleet of vehicles through out the year. The most current windshield Randy replaced was a 2020 Ram Limited. The vehicle is equipped with every sensor none to man. Replacing the windshield was a bit different than the ordinary windshield. Randy is very knowledgeable, reliable and very clean. Not only did he have to change the windshield, but the sensors under the windshield needed to be recalibrated. Randy made it very easy for me and scheduled the company that recalibrates the sensors. Becareful who you hire. Many companies will leave you with a dirty car. Not Randy, my truck was cleaner than when he started. Fair pricing, honest, ethical, that's how I like to do business. I waited almost a month to leave this review but really I didn't need to wait that long. These guys are AWESOME! I needed the windshield replaced on my Chevy HHR and insurance wasn't going to cover it. I gathered several quotes and so many companies were adding tons of extra hidden fees plus they couldn't be out to do the replacement for a week or two. ABC had the lowest quoted price, no hidden fees, they were upfront and honest the entire time, and they were able to come do the replacement the next day! The windshield looks great and almost a month later I've had zero issues with it! If you want quick, painless, fair, and quality these are your guys! Shattered my glass the other day and a friend of a friend installed a new glass without my knowledge and put it in wrong, he even used the wrong glue. I thought i was hopeless until I called randy right after and I must say he is the most professional and kind window installer out there not only did he remove the glue that was put on wrong but he was able in install it back on correctly in that same instant. It was a huge relief for me, I would recommend him to any and all. Not only will he work with you on the price, he’ll give you a sense of knowing you’re in good hands and knowing he’ll get the job done the first time and there’s no price on that. Again if you’re looking for any kind of window install look no further!

I emailed ABC Auto glass for a quote, and then for my windshield replacement. Randy not only answered my emails, but even came to my job to replace it. He was there before the promised time and took less time replacing the windshield than he expected. The car was ready to be driven before I got out of work, which was very convenient! I got several quotes from different places and ABC was the best cash price. Randy was professional, on time and made getting the window replaced super easy and convenient for me because he came to me and replaced it while I was right at my job. I am happy to say that this was a very positive experience. So I've been wanting to post but hurricane after hurricane has been tough. Before Helene, I was driving my 15 year old to bush gardens and my sunroof glass flew off at about 55 mph. Crazy but my luck! Praise God it hurt no one! I was so lost on what to do. Jeep told me I needed the entire mechanism and they don't make it anymore. I found one in a junk yard in not very good shape. These fine gentlemen, not only fixed it for me before the hurricane but also gave me the best deal ever!
