Be aware. Decided to switch my studded tires for street tires today. Brought in my (4) street tires in good condition in. Sit around and wait 40 minutes for the switch. Had 3 tires mounted back to the rig tire #4 comes out and turns out tire wasn’t in the obvious spot it should have been. On top of this confusion I observe a new cut to inner sidewall of the tire. Clear sabotage trap. Ended up buying a used tire from that Hispanic man and promised myself I will take my business elsewhere 🤯🤯🤯

I would not buy tires from a place that isn’t nationwide something. I actually have never thought about up until My recent experience.. i’m a single senior woman and do not know anything about tires. I’m just trusting the place that I am paying for services to do the right thing, that was not a wise idea. I’ve gotten four new tires from universal tires With a with an 50,000 mile warranty and drove to California. I was there for a few months. My car needed an oil change. I took it to the Ford motor company to do the oil change and they noticed that the front passenger tire had had a split on it mind you these tires had not been on there for very long so I did call universal about it and they said there’s nothing they can do if they don’t have the tire there. So I got on Amazon found the exact tire. It was only a $60 tire they had charged me $600 for all four of the tires. Seems how the tire was pretty new and I have an all-wheel-drive I was able to put the tire on and go about my business. I don’t drive my car a lot because I am doing cancer treatment treatments with chemotherapy therefore, I’m pretty much just to the doctors, grocery store on occasion and home .These tires have had under 5000 miles on them. My car started driving really bad so I took it And had an alignment done on it that didn’t seem to help so I drove it back to universal like a month and a half ago to do a tire rotation they did, but it still wasn’t driving. Well it was pulling to the right side and was just not a smooth drive so I just came to.Nyess, Or Last week and thought maybe I better take this car in to Les Schwab just to check and see if there’s something wrong with maybe tire rods, wheel bearings I don’t know they found that three of the tires had bubbles on them and that’s why my car was driving rough which is also very dangerous. I do not see how universal tires did not see that and take action. In fact I believe that they did and ignored it so I just got four new tires put on my car from Les Schwab. My car drives perfect again. It was only $80 more than I got from universal but my point on this is I was treated so rudely on the phone yesterday When I told him what the problem was they said well it is what it is. There’s nothing they can do about it because I don’t have the tires there for them to look at. I told them there’s no way I can drive my car home with those tires on it. Les swab did write on my Paperwork that all three of those tires were bubbled. The only reason the other tire was not because I already replaced it in California. All four of those tires had defective. They got away without having to honor a warranty And we’re very rude to top it off. Do not use a company that is Not nationwide it’s a waste of your Money if something goes wrong with the tires. I will never never use them again.

Fast quality work & inexpensive. Due to our driving conditions, all three of our vehicle’s tires are constantly picking up nails and screws. I choose to bring in the wheel and tire off the vehicle myself to help streamline the repair process. I could spend the extra time waiting for them to take the wheel and tire off my vehicle for me or I could just spend 10 to 15 minutes doing it myself and having things ready to go for them. I believe that I have maybe had 10 to 15 tire patch jobs done at this location. Not a single one of the patches has ever failed. They have all outlasted the life of the tire. Usually cost me within $5 to $15 bucks depending on how much work and effort they have to put into it. I appreciate them charging me appropriately for their time. And no matter how busy they are. I’m usually in and out of there within 5-20 minutes. And I had to share with everyone else just how impressive that is to me.

these guys were friendly and didn’t take long but my two front wheels (the only two they replaced tires on) had all of the lugs seized and cross threaded causing the two in the photo to break. the only reason this happened was a lack of attention, care and possibly knowledge because honda accord lugs don’t need to be at 170 ft/lbs. i’m personally annoyed but lucky that i have car knowledge and a shop to work in but that makes me worry about the average person leaving there safely and without their car getting damaged. seriously unprofessional.

I would not refer this place to my worst enemy. I had a set of 520s taken off the car which one of them was bad. The other three were 70% good and I specifically asked when I paid for the new tires to save those tires, I wanted them, when they put the tires on my car was late and they were closing and I never saw the tires so it was out of mine. I called an hour after I left and left a recording message stating that I’d be back tomorrow to get the tires please do not dispose of them and , I called the next day and they tried to tell me that they’ve already been disposed of so I says “you mean you threw away tires with 70% tread on 520s no less fetched and all bullshit.

I needed a tire mounted and balanced and I was driving by on the way from All American Classics right down the road. They were busy but they were able to get it done in about 10 minutes charged me 20 bucks including disposing of the old tire and wheel. Lots of business and lots of customers coming and going while I was there. They charge less if you can pay with cash. I was on the road with my mounted tire and very happy not having to stop in and pay probably double that amount at one of the major shops. Thanks Universal Autoglass & Tires!
