Next time I will use another company! They came to my work to fix my windshield of my jeep, the vin was on the order to get done and they didn’t fix my glass because supposedly they ordered the wrong windshield.. Crazy how they can possible have the wrong windshield!! Might be time to get some new employees because I saw another review on your page and it happened to someone else!

The Georgetown Safelite location completed my windshield replacement in about an hour. The staff was friendly and kept me updated by text messages. The waiting room was a little chilly but they did offer hot coffee or tea while waiting. This location seemed very knowledgeable of the work they were doing. I recommend this location.

Let me first say the installer was awesome. That is the only good thing though. My comments below are very specific and it took me hours on the phone to find out why my service was horrible. I wish Safelite would have educated me about their systems and then I would not be so harsh. Long story short, if you have an older car the window may not be standard or available. Ok by me but Safelites system does not tell you the window my take a few weeks. They just post onto your calendar that they are coming. Then.....no one comes....and in my case....no one calls. Once you then get customer service, they find out, as I already knew, the location doing the work will not pick up the phone. When you do get them after hours on the phone they acknowledge that the window is not in. Ok, but when...nothing. So they send you another schedule time to fix. That goes by. Same thing for me.... I have to call customer service who then calls the store and who then does not pick up. So then they send another schedule....I call before the appointment this time to see if they have the window. No response. I then call the local BMW dealer who does tell me he shipped it. But no one from Safelite even tells me this. Finally after 4 weeks, I have a new window. This would have been so much better if Safelite just said it will take 4 weeks and we will call you when the window is in. Simple. But they are not capable of that it would seem and my local office in Glen Burnie Maryland is not capable of picking up the phone. So 1 star. Could have been a 5 star if they just communicated

I was driving to work when something hit my windshield on the passenger side. There was a small crack that got bigger. I was recommended to call Safelite. What an awesome experience. The communicate was great, the knowledge of the process. The Lifetime Warranty is awesome. I’m so impressed and will recommend others

Great experience using Safelite. Scheduling was so simple directly through my Nationwide insurance website. Times were convenient and I was able to get the windshield replaced promptly. The shop staff were friendly and thorough. My car was repaired as promised. I would definitely recommend Safelite in Georgetown, De.

Service was amazing and timely. They even graciously adjusted the time die to a situation that occurred. Our service tech, Stanley was personable and professional. He did a great job and was very thorough with the aftercare instructions. It was an extremely hot day and my vehicle was in a wide open parking lot; certainly miserable conditions, yet Stanley was cheerful and smiling during each interaction.
