I really didn’t want to write this, but seeing as though i was told they’d reach out to me, and it’s been a month plus, might as well voice how i feel now. I really hate to put the tech that did this in a spot, but this is where we are now. Went in to get my windshield replaced. The front end was very courteous and polite, no issues there. The issue lies where the tech comes to get me mid service, to show me that my A pillars were bad. They were perfectly fine before i bought my car in to be serviced. Not so much as a scratch. He cracked the drivers side… ok. Seeing as though the service was already started, i let him continue. He crack the passenger side A pillar as well. Passenger side is worse than the driver. He then tells me he’s gonna try and see what they can do on their end to rectify this situation… comes back and tells me there’s nothing they can do… what do you mean there’s nothing you can do? You broke my A pillars. The tech tells me if i can find a set of a pillars for my car (which are extremely hard to find, and doubly expensive), just come on back to the shop and he’ll install them for me… my weather strips weren’t placed back in my door/window sill correctly because all i hear is air whistling thru my windows.. that was never the case prior to bringing to them. I reach out to Safelite and they say they’d get back to me.. and here we are, a month later, no correspondence.. oh, and the icing on the cake? My passenger side A pillar flew off my car on the Merritt pkwy this morning on the way to work.. I’m usually very patient. More than i should be at times, but that was the final nail in the coffin.. hopefully they reach out to me to right this. I went in for a windshield replacement, and left with more damage than i went in with. I remember the Tech’s name, but i won’t go as far as to out him here.

The experience felt like a favor from a skilled neighbor—someone who knows their craft inside and out and takes pride in doing the job right. No gimmicks, no upselling—just solid, professional service with a personal touch that made the whole process easy. I am genuine appreciative. He was like a ninja, avoiding the rain and he got the job done quick ahead of expectations.

Jacqueline went above and beyond for me when I brought my car in after someone broke into it leaving it a complete disaster. Her kindness and generosity in helping me went above and beyond the call of duty. I got an appointment quickly through my insurance. I was able to leave my car and get it quickly returned with a beautiful new window. The process was fast and easy and the customer service was amazing. The only thing that they didn't do a great job on was vacuuming out all the broken glass. There was still a ton of glass everywhere so I ended up just getting it detailed which did the trick. Otherwise 10/10 for everything else! Thank you again Jacqueline!!

Women Beware – Horrible Experience at Safelite in Bridgeport, CT If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my husband’s brand new Tesla into Safelite AutoGlass in Bridgeport for what should’ve been a straightforward window repair. I was originally quoted around $600, which seemed steep, but manageable. When I returned to pick up the car, I was blindsided with a bill for over $1,300. Why? Because they decided they needed to “recalibrate the Tesla computer” — something they never mentioned beforehand. But it gets worse. When I pointed out a loud whistling noise coming from the new window, they casually told me, “Oh, that’s just air leaking — it needs to settle first. Come back after a few hundred miles and we’ll take a look.” Excuse me? I just paid $1,300 for a repair that still needs fixing, and now I’m supposed to drive around in a brand new car with a faulty seal and hope it magically fixes itself? To top it all off, the staff was incredibly dismissive and condescending. As a woman, I was spoken to like I had no idea what I was talking about. It was painfully clear they didn’t take me seriously — the tone and facial expressions. I left feeling belittled and taken advantage of. Ladies: if you value being treated with respect — or expect transparency and competence when it comes to your vehicle — stay far, far away from this place. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a $60,000 car. Total ripoff. Completely unprofessional. Shame on you, Safelite Bridgeport.

I just had one of the worst service experiences with the Safelite shop at the North ave. Bridgeport, Ct. I went in for a windshield replacement which was supposed to be 2-3 hours and it ended up a nightmare. It took 6 shop visits and two new windshields to resolve the issue. I spent a total of more than 20 hours waiting at their shop , not to mention the time to travel back and forth to their shop. The Bridgeport shop was incompetent in resolving the problem. Finally, they sent me to their North Haven, CT shop to resolve the issue. I wouldn’t send anyone to the Safelite Bridgeport shop .

Schedule repair of windshield, they no show and rescheduled without notice. Said they sent an email. After talking with mobile technician a windshield replacement is needed. Scheduled and was rescheduled due to weather. So I decided to make an appointment and go into the north Ave location, with hesitation. Now they tell me it's an hour service 🙄 the manager is rude. Weather or not the service is good at this point tip lost and negative reviews across the board. Used this company a few times in the past and this was the worst interaction!
