The website is incredibly easy to use. Streamlined to max efficiency! Took me less than 5 minutes to input my information, get my deductible amount (mine was zero!), and set up my appointment with a choice to go to their shop or have a technician come to my house. I chose to have them come to me. They even submit your claim to your auto insurance for you! You do not get inundated with texts and emails. Just the info you need when you need it. The technicians were great! Very professional, friendly, funny and they know what they're doing. I especially like that they vacuum the glass out! Very happy with everything that Safelite offers and what I received! I highly recommend them and we will use them again in the future for all our auto glass needs!ServicesAuto rear window replacementPrice assessmentGreat price

The guy who I worked with was really friendly, very communicative and professional. The downside for me is the transferring of stickers. I had a sticker on my old glass that got moved and before the work commenced, I asked will you be able to transfer the Sticker. The reply was yes, and then when I came out to look at the car, there was no sticker available. So I called the customer service number and it was closed by that time so I filed a warranty complaint and put that the sticker was not on there He then further communicated with me and let me know that the sticker was on there, and the sticker was very mutilated and almost in pieces Which could end up, raising some type of suspicion of fictitiousness due to how mutilated it looks. As far as the glass, it seems to be OK but overall, I just expect whatever I have on the old one to be put as neatly as possible on the new one and that just didn’t happen

Terrible experience. I’ve waited weeks for my appointment. The initial appointment was Scheduled for Safelite to come to me, THE DAY BEFORE My schedule appointment they reach out to tell me that I need to drive into the shop which was over 30 miles away. When I arrive the first thing they want was my payment. No problem. After making my payment, I was then informed that safelite did not have the correct windshield for my vehicle. I’ve waited weeks for my appointment. You have my VIN number. Why is it that you did not inform me that you didn’t have to part instead of me going out to the shop? When I called my insurance, my insurance informed me that satelite was waiting for the part, so you knew you didnt have it prior to me paying. I wouldn't recommend satelite to anyone look elsewhere!

Safelite in my assessment is one of the armpits of businesses I’ve ever had to displeasure of communicating with. I was diligent in creating space inside my garage so that the technician could successfully perform his task in replacing the front window shield of my car. I waited up till about three hours then make contact With the company, and was assured that Richard the technician would be at my home between the hours of 4 PM and 6 PM. My appointment was set from 1 PM to 6 PM on January 22, 2025 to which Richard the technician never showed The company never called me. To apologize or to say hey look we’d like to offer you a discount we’d like to reschedule nothing. I would advise anybody who plans on using this company to find someone else who is dependable and honest and truthful. Safelite is a company that lies to its customers and potential future customers do not use this company.

I brought my 2024 Lexus in for a windshield replacement through my full coverage insurance (Progressive), which works directly with Safelite. The repair was completed quickly—less than two hours—but I was shocked to find out they installed a third-party windshield instead of a genuine Lexus OEM part. Why was a non-OEM part used when I have full coverage? This isn't a minor detail—installing a non-Lexus windshield compromises both the integrity and resale value of my vehicle. I expect OEM parts, especially for a brand-new luxury car. Neither Safelite nor Progressive gave me a clear explanation or the option to request genuine parts in advance. This feels like cutting corners at the customer's expense. Not acceptable.

I am happy with the install but not happy with what I was quoted and what I got. I bought the premium package which was supposed to come with wiper blades and repellant treatment. When the installers arrived he said it was not on his service order. I showed him the screen captures that I took when I ordered the service and the quote, which was the same cost of his quote. He tried to call a supervisor but they said it was not in the service order. I told him I would contact Corporate about the issue and had the windshield installed. He did a great job with the heat pounding on him. I tipped him and he left. I called Corporate, left a message and did not hear back from them. I will try again and if I don’t get an answer, I will file a complaint with BBBServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentReasonable price
