I was very unhappy with the results of fixing my chipped windshield. You cant even tell anything was done to fix it. I had to sign saying that I understood the chip may still be seen after the work was done.. but seeing the misleading photos on their website showed that you could barely see anything in the windshield. So I really thought that was what they were talking about.. not completely gone but very hard to notice it. Well that was not the case at all. Sitting in the passenger seat, the chip is still as visible as it was before the work was performed. Now the technician did say that it will stop any spreading of cracks ... but when I paid to have it fixed I shouldn't even see the cracks . I would never recommend this service to anyone. It was a complete waste of money and my time. So in the future just get a new windshield and save yourself the grief.

This place did a good job, but their estimating part of the business is not too honest. I was gonna use my insurance to pay for my windshield and my deductible was $500 so when I asked them how much it was to do the windshield this at $500 but they didn’t tell me was that if you go on their website and you do self-pay without the insurance, the window was only $286. They were about to scam me for a double the price almost on this window if I have not checked and when I asked them, why didn’t you do this? They said well we just go by your insurance. Lesson and learn here is make sure that you check all angles because these folks are not looking out for you.

Our daughter’s windshield needed replacement, Safelite in Madison on Madison Boulevard did an excellent job. One additional comment for those viewing this and our prior positive reviews, we believe in recognizing excellence and verbally communicating disappointments with small businesses/local businesses owners vs. posting negative reviews. Safelite in Madison was definitely a class act, the vehicle also required sensor calibrations per OEM standards. All great!ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price

My Safelite experience was FANTASTIC... It would have been 5 stars if not for the following... 1. My appointment was for from 12:00 to 5:00 pm... I ran some errands and returned home around 9:00 am... Sitting in my driveway getting ready to leave was the Safelite technician... 2. Safelite does not offer Military discount... (They don't answer the telephone with a human so there is no way to find out prior)... 3. Within (1) hour of the completion of my installation I started receiving $50 off coupons... Since I had to schedule this installation, I feel like I should have received this discount prior to installation... Ither than that, the installation was flawless... the technician was a trained professional and the windshield is PERFECT... Dennis R. Harlan

The windshield on my Rav 4 needed replacing after being damaged on the interstate by some small flying road debris that Ieft a 15 inch crack. I contacted my insurer and they sent a link with all my autos info to the Safelite web site. It was very easy to make an appointment. Safelite communicated everything I needed to know about what they would do to replace the windshield as well as what the insurer pays and my part. I arrived at the facility left my car and about 2 hours later they contacted me that it was ready. Quicker than I was told. They gave me a few instructions for the next 2 days and I drove away with a great looking windshield. Very friendly and informative staff. Great experience.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentReasonable price

Would give zero stars if I could. Ordered my glass through their website July 13th - nearly 2 weeks and 3 "re-orders" later the Madison AL - Safelite store could not promise me they would have the glass by the end of this week. I will give them a point for sending someone to the first attempted appointment to "crash wrap" the window so the vehicle could be driven until the glass could get here. But that's it. Every time I called it took at least 20 min to get the Madison store on the phone. Plus, they seemed annoyed that I was asking why the appointment was being rescheduled. Most astonishing, their story went from "we normally get the glass within 24 hours of it being ordered" to "it has to come from DC to multiple individual stores so we have no way of knowing how long it might take but its usually about 3 days so it should be here on Friday"..... should be??? hmmmmm. I have a plastic wrapped window in Alabama where it rains nearly every day and i dont know how long that plastic will stay in place. SO.... I cancelled the entire thing, requested my money back and found someone else in Madison who could do the job 2 days later and it cost me FAR less. I suggest anyone needing to replace auto glass SKIP the Madison Safelite shop find someone else.....
