The BEST experience I've had with any business in the past several years. I have needed to get my windshield replaced on my 4 Runner for many months but had put off b/c I did not want to deal with the hassle of dealing with State Farm. About 2 weeks ago I went to the Safelite website just to get a quote. Well, the website made it SUPER easy to not only get a quote but to go ahead a book an appointment and NOT have to deal directly with State Farm. I entered my year, make, model, and my VIN number and they took care of everything. I made an appointment for this past Saturday and all I owed was my deductible. I received numerous texts and emails about my appointment. That they had gone ahead and ordered my glass etc. I took their advice and dropped my car off at their Galleria location on my way home Friday night from work. I left the keys in their drop box. My car was promised to be complete before close of business on Saturday. On Saturday, I slept in and then got up and had several errands to run. Safelite sent me texts about 11:00 am that my car was currently being serviced and that it would be ready after lunch. I went ahead and provided my credit card info to their site as I knew what my total would be. I received a text about 1:00 pm that my car was ready as I was wrapping up my errands. I stopped by the shop and walked in where 2 gentlemen were seated behind the counter. I began to tell them how pleased I was with the entire experience. They were very nice. I think they were waiting to see if I was going to complain or be nice. They said some people did not like how many texts and emails that Safelite send. Well, I loved it and b/c I had already provided my credit card info, they simply handed me my key. "No car washes for 24 hours" and that was it. Glass looks great. No issues at this time. I let my car sit in my garage the rest of the day Saturday and all day Sunday esp. b/c it's 90+ degrees outside and I wanted the adhesive to set in a climate controlled area. FANTASTIC experience. My claim is filed with State Farm. If possible, I do not advise that you sit at their location and wait. Just do what you have to do and let them do their job. I did everything through their website. I did not have to contact State Farm. If you can give them at least a week's notice so that they can ensure they have the glass for your car, is probably a good idea. Be prepared to get several helpful texts and emails. Thank you Galleria Safelite. First class experience. On a side note, I had to take my car to them b/c apparently my insurance policy does not cover Safelite coming to me. I was fine with that b/c it has been so HOT and I did not have to worry about the weather on the day of my appointment.

Many say customer service no longer exists and they are right, except for this place! Just wow. Due to a wedding, the flu, I had to keep rescheduling a windshield replacement and never an issue and always willing to accommodate my request. I had the windshield put in yesterday. From the moment I showed up, throughout the visit, and even post visit was just an excellent experience. I waited maybe 5 minutes to get checked in - that's with 3 people in front of me. Within 10 minutes the technician came out, got my keys, explained what was going to be done, how long it should take, and any potential issues they might encounter (recalibration). Came back out to let me know that due to service codes in the car he may not be able to calibrate the safety equipment but would let me know. An hour or so later, came back out, windshield in, no issues and I was on my way. I received a text with a link to all the work that had been done 10 minutes after I left. I waited while the work was done. They have a large waiting area, OK wifi (easy to connect to, but a bit slow), lots of places to work. I heard the person working the front desk work with many customers and always professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you all for keeping customer service alive and well.

They cancelled on us 15 minutes prior to our appointment time for two windshields at our home. They refused to work around our schedule and said they could only do a Saturday. They completely missed the 8-12 window they were to show up in. They FINALLY arrived at 2pm. They stated they were only able to do one of the 2 windshields our insurance had paid for (we have full coverage). Seemingly bc it was after 4 on a Saturday and they wanted to be done. I have been chasing them to complete the work that my insurance paid for (the second windshield) to NO reply/answer etc from them. I’ve been promised a call from the general manager at two separate times and dates and have not received on singular call back. It’s truly not worth my time to continue to argue with them, I’ll be asking my insurance company to withdraw payment to them and place me with another company to complete the work. Do not recommend.

This is my experience, take what you will from it. We brought my 2019 Honda Fit here to replace a driver window that was shattered on I65 by flying debris of some kind. It took them 10 days to get me in to have it fixed, so I opted for a rental car since all I had over my window was "crash wrap" plastic applied by Safelite. The car wasn't really safe to drive with that on there. The day of the window repair I dropped my car off at 7:50am. By about 3pm we noticed nobody had called with an update or otherwise, so we left a message for a callback. They called, said it was ready. Upon pick up, I looked at the window and it went up and down so at first glance the job appeared complete. I went back to work, got out and closed the door in the quieter area I was in, I noticed that glass was still shaking around in the bottom of my door panel. Not a little bit. A LOT. Almost reminded me of a sound of a maraca. Not only that, but my door was covered in something sticky, exterior and interior. AND - while repairing apparently they sliced into part of my door near my window controls, there was a 1 inch slice clearly from some tool or blade. When my husband called to address the glass shaking in the door he was met with, "Is it really that bad?" Umm... exactly what kind of question is that?? It shouldn't matter, because had the job been done properly, this wouldn't even be a question no matter if it's 2 pieces of glass or 30 (like there probably was). He was given push back on a POOR JOB that was done by this store. We were going to come back for a repair, but sold the car two days ago so we did not. I just feel everyone should know - stick to windshields when you deal with Safelite. They do a VERY poor job otherwise. Honestly, after this experience, if I have a windshield incident I probably will not use this Safelite either. Do better.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I've never written a negative review but felt compelled to based on my experience with this Safelite location. Lots of issues. Multiple trips that could have been explained on the first visit. Next is the calibration. They explained at the first pickup that they could not do the calibration due to putting in the wrong glass for my type of car which led to multiple safety lights coming on. Fast forward to the second visit a week later and assurance that everything would be fixed. They installed a second windshield, did not call to say it was ready, only to arrive and still have the safety lights on. When asked about why they were not fixed with new 2nd windshield, they said the safety were not were not there during the original calibration (with wrong windshield first time around). I explained that they created the safety lights with the wrong windshield the first go around and even tried to get me to sign something stating such. This eventually led to them telling me to take it to the dealership which ultimately did a fantastic job. So 3 trips for a simple windshield replacement. This location did not say they were sorry for the inconvenience that they created or any solution other than to take to the dealership. Completely different experience at the dealership where they started with they were sorry this happened and shouldn't have happened. Again, we live in a world where there is no accountability/manners or general willingness to do the right thing. It's very sad. And also zero follow up from the district manager which I called. Unfortunately not suprised based on my experience at his store. My hope is that this does not happen to anyone else (as I spoke with another customer on my first visit that was having a similar experience). I'm sure there are other glass replacement business that would respect you and be glad for your business. All very sad and disappointing experience.

I went online to get a quote. I was given a quote of a little lwss than $700. I set an appointment. The only additional communication I received from Safelite was from the technician verifying the appointment. When the tech arrived, he showed me what my total would be, coming to almost $1300. There were additional charges for calibrating the safety system, which was included on the quote as an afterthought (there may be additional charges for programming). The charge for programming was $500. I was also told it's cheaper than it was originally, which was $1900. I never received a single communication about this excessive charge (almost twice the original quote). I contacted Safelite and was told I should have received an email verifying the charges, which I didn't receive. I then spent almost an hour being batted around the Safelite organization and not one single person offered to make a gesture to correct the misunderstanding. All that I was told was an explanation of how Safelite does business and what their processes are, something I couldn't care less about. The last person on the line, the local shop, acted like I was lying about not receiving the communications. I told the technician I wasn't going to get the work done, called a local contractor and Auto Glass Now. The Auto Glass Now quote is $500 cheaper than Safelite and includes the programming (which I know now takes about 15 to 20 minutes - $500 Safelite charges for this). I have used Safelite in the past but it will not happen again.
