Have you ever had an experience as a customer that struck you as too good to be true, but it was!? That was my WONDERFUL experience with the Safe Auto Group. In the weeks before I picked up my car from them, there had been a lot of less-than-delightful stuff going on for me--the car accident that brought me there to begin with, but also two funerals in my family (thankfully unrelated to the accident) and surgery for my husband. So I was pretty beat when I went to pick it up. I couldn't believe how great it looked! When shop owner Tom drove out my 12 year old Subaru Outback for me, it looked LIKE NEW. I really was just taken aback. I expected it to be fixed up, new doors and everything but, wow! They had detailed it too, outside AND in! And I mean detailed--the leather upholstery, the carpeting, the Weather Tech floormats even in the hatchback area, so perfectly clean and like new! My husband, a "car guy" himself, was so impressed that he now wants to take his own '97 Riviera there just to be detailed. And here's what surpassed my expectations even more: there had been pretty significant damage done to the other side of my car years before from pulling in too close to the side of our garage. I just lived with it, because we had better uses for the $5,000 + the dealership estimated it would cost to get that bodywork done. So when shop manager Tom called to say they were nearly finished with the insurance-covered work and my car would look so nice again but, wouldn't we like the other side fixed to match? Well, sure, I said, give us an estimate, figuring it would fall into a similar price range beyond our out-of-pocket reach. When he called back with "$450" I had to ask him twice to repeat it, I was so surprised! No kidding, my car now looks like new again--from either side, from front to back. And I will enjoy telling anyone who asks about our beyond-positive experience with Safe Auto Group.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Safe Auto Glass & Body, and the entire experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did they break my key fob during their so-called repair process but their initial refusal to rectify the situation left me frustrated and inconvenienced. It took an exasperating three weeks of constant pestering on my part to finally get them to replace the damaged key fob. The lack of urgency and customer care displayed by Safe Auto Glass was utterly appalling. To make matters worse, their so-called "fix" for the glass was a dissapointing at best. My door would not open from the inside, and the locking mechanism was compromised. Additionally, the window they claimed to have fixed does not even roll down properly. They fixed the door and lock issue the day of; however, I refuse to go back and waste anymore time for my window to roll down properly. The overall lack of professionalism and the disregard for customer satisfaction at this company is astounding. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and explore more reliable options. My experience with them has been nothing short of a costly and time-consuming ordeal that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Completely disrespectful for no reason. I had my windshield cracked and asked for an appointment. I arrived and was told to take a seat and hand over my key, no hello or introduction. After 30 minutes, I was asked to pay and found out they do not take checks. If I had been spoken to when I first arrived, I would have happily had card payment ready. I politely asked for a moment while I figured out how to provide card payment (I am applying to doctorate programs and finances are tricky). The owner spoke to me in a completely unwarranted disrespectful manner, overheard by the person I was on the phone with. The person on the phone requested I report them to the BBB for being sexist/ageist, as the only reason I can possibly think of for the awful way in which I was being spoken to was that I was a young female on my own. Although the owner waited for me to figure out the form he needed me to fill out, there is no reason for treating another human being in such an awful manner. I appreciate the apology in the response but will not recommend or return.

Called and scheduled window tints to be installed. Set it for the same day at 11 am. The receptionist stated it would be completed at 1:30, so i decided to wait. 1:30 rolls around, and it is still not complete. I notified them i had an important meeting i needed to get too and they said my car would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I had to cancel my meeting, and i did not get my car until 3:26 p.m., and on top of that, there were scratches and dirt in between the tint and glass. And when the tech brought my car around, my doors had streaks and runs on all 4 doors from the spray they used. I had to ask them to clean up their mess. Also, my coffee cup was on the floor of my vehicle rolling around. "No respect for customers' property" Now the tints are under warranty, but no one wants to wait another 4 hours to have them repaired. I may decide to have it fixed on my next day off, and if it goes smoothly and quickly, i will update my review. I would not have any further work done here or recommend the place to anyone. Unfortunately, the tints have a lifetime warranty, so i am forced to return at some point. $345 for tints on all 6 windows if anyone was wondering.

If you enjoy horrible customer service and discriminatory businesses, this is the place for you! My partner came in to get our Mustang’s windshield fixed. She showed up for her 4:15 appointment with our two kids in tow. Obviously it wasn’t ideal to bring them but it was how the day went and you do what you have to do. She drove an hour to get to the appointment so finding childcare for such an extended period of time on a Friday wasn’t feasible. Our two kids were moderately wound up, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 5 and two year old. At first they were climbing on the chairs which the person working (he made it seem like he is the owner but it is hard to say) told her they couldn’t be doing that. Ok. Didn’t seem like it was a huge deal but fine. Our 5 year old was playing his video games and out two year old was giggling and running around a very small area as there were other customers and my partner didn’t want him bothering them when the same person came out and kicked them out, mind you he hadn’t even looked at the car yet, even though it was a half hour in to their scheduled appointment. He literally called my partner a bad parent (again this is in front of other people!). One big thing to note is my partner is transgender and has faced aggression for no real reason but this was very obvious and blatant discrimination. There were people sleeping in the waiting area, so if our children were being THAT disruptive I feel that it would have been quite hard to nap, as from my experience, waiting room chairs aren’t exactly plush and relaxing. So again, if you enjoy companies that harass already marginalized populations, this is a fantastic choice!🥳

I came a long ways to get my service done at Safe Auto Glass. I was greeted in a friendly but odd way by the man at front desk. He said to talk to the beautiful lady next to him, she will help you. Then he said to the girl “Go to the far computer to stay away from me. I gave her my information and my car keys. I told him my window got smashed by a thief. He said “Maybe it was your baby daddy”. I sloughed it off and laughed. I said I am too old for that and laughed. He must be joking, yes? I asked if there are any restaurants in the area because I am hungry. He said maybe one of the boys in the back can take you out to lunch for a date. Then a guy can from the back to ask him a question. He said “How about you have him take you to lunch? Huh? I said I want a friend only, no date. Since he seemed kind of jovial, I said “How about you go to lunch with me? You like Thai Food? Suddenly his demeanor changed. He said “You are a racist!” I was shocked. I said no, I am not. He said “You want me to eat Thai food”. I sloughed the comment off. Then I asked if there are any warranty. He said yes, for a lifetime. Is there paperwork to show that? He didn’t answer. I said the reason I ask that as the surface of the window has to be very clean, otherwise the film won’t stick. He said “ Are you telling me how to do my job? I have done this for 37 years and I don’t need you telling me how to do my job. I know your type, you are trouble and all you are going to do is complain afterward. I don’t want your business. Take your car keys back and get out of here. I stood there in shock. WHAT??!!!! He told the girl to give me my keys back. I said no, please! He said no. He wanted me to get out. Then I actually had to beg for him to do the job. I told him I drive many miles to get here for my appointment. He said ok, but only if you shut up and not say another word. Then he pointed to the chair and commanded me like I was a dog “Go sit down in the chair and don’t say another word”. I asked if I could go eat. He said Yes, go eat. Get out of here and go eat. I went to a restaurant across the street to eat. When I came back, another customer was outside. He said to me “I can’t believe that guy. You didn’t deserve that. I think he is the boss because of the way he exerts his power over the other employees. I went inside and tiptoed to a seat. I motioned to the girl silently if my car was done. She whispered (why does she have to whisper?!) that my car is still being worked on. When I got my car back, they did a nice job. But the way I was treated was beyond horrendous. I actually tiptoed back to seat to not trigger this guy. Someone said his name is Tom.
