Pelican Zone - New Orleans Auto Glass, Tint & Windshield Repair

These guys were great. They gave me a great price on replacing a cracked windshield, installed it quickly, and then sent me on my way. Later that day, I noticed a leak near the windshield, and they got me back right away to inspect the area of the leak. They pulled out a hose and checked every inch of the windshield— no leaks! Then, they checked my sun roof and helped me find the source of the leak— a clogged sun roof drain. They did a great job, and their work was not related to my issue. They stood by their work without question, inspected it closely, looked to make sure their work had no issues, and helped me find out what was really going on, without adding any more to the total cost. I highly recommend them.

Normally don’t post reviews, just get the service and go — but am making an exception for Pelican Zone. Ali and his team of installation technicians were top notch. The price was fair, the installation was quick, and all the workers were genuinely friendly while waiting at the shop. I called and asked for a quote and they asked me to stop by whenever was best FOR ME, which was a luxury I’ve never had before with a busy schedule — as long as you call and give a heads up for when you’re swinging by. My quote from Safelite was near 1100 dollars for a windshield replacement on my ‘23 civic sport.. Pelican Zone did it for less than half! And the installation was very well done. Only had to wait an hour. HUGE recommendation from me. 5 star service and price!

I can't delete this review so I had to edit it to reflect my situation. I had a bad experience with the social media page of this business which prompted me to write a negative review. I was contacted by the owner who informed me that he had no knowledge of the issue and that it was a new, rogue employee that had replied to me. He apologized, offered me a discounted price as a means of amends and rebuked the actions of that employee. I have not gotten an opportunity yet to actually work with the business but the owner informed me that customer service is his top priority, hence my edit of my review.

So, i was nervous because I usually use my local guy to tint my windows but he had a month wait so on a business trip to NOLA I stopped in here after talking to a guy on Facebook. The geoshield brand is new, but it's an amazing film and honestly looks awesome. It's 103 degrees most days and I get into my hot black car, and within a minute or two it's cool already compared to it never getting cool before the tint. The installer was a pro, it came out so fricken good that it legit just looks like part of the window but just darker; in fact it's nano ceramic and not a SINGLE defect could be found. They put tape on my window controls (masking) so that I wouldn't roll them down and 3 days later they went down without issues. Needless to say, to be able to drive up, pay hundreds less than normal for ceramic and have it done on a lunch hour was the best experience in tint I've ever had. It's a no brainer, go see these guys and you won't be upset with the results but you'll definitely feel the difference in this heat.

If you want professional, excellent service and great prices, go to this place! I needed a new front windshield, I called and Ali answered. He was professional, super nice, and very helpful. I called late in the day, (early evening) he got me a quote immediately and I booked for next day early morning replacement. My technician was so cool, I'm pissed at myself for forgetting his name, anyway he was amazing. My windshield is sealed on tight and right honey lol and the glass is great quality. Everything about my experience was lovely. To be fair it's not the most glamorous spot, the waiting room is small but they offer you water/coffee, it's air conditioned and there's a bathroom. If you want professionalism, quality products/service, and great value go here, PeriodT!!

I needed my front windshield to be replaced. I looked around and Pelican Zone offered the lowest price. Based on the reviews, I went ahead and called to see if I can be serviced within the week. Sure enough, I was able to stop by the next day. The end product was great, but my qualms and reason for leaving 4 stars is because it seemed like the owner was a bit of a mess. I was told it shouldn't take no more than an hour half but ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours. Another lady showed up after me who was upset because she made an appointment and was told her windshield could be replaced in 30 mins, but they couldn't service her within that time, so she left. Despite my calling ahead, the owner went to get my windshield 30 mins after I had arrived, thus delaying my wait. I paid via credit card, so he had to input the price itself into the machine and accidentally charge $10 over, which isn't a problem for me as his price was still significantly less than any other shop I came across, so just be aware. Overall, the employee that replaced my windshield was really nice and did a wonderful job. Cant beat the price but I recommend dropping off your car and coming back at a later time if you have something to do.
