I called Taylor with Family Auto Glass one hour before the business closed not knowing if I could swing by the business or set up a future appointment with them to get a cracked windshield repaired. Taylor went above and beyond and I was close enough that he swung by my place after the business closed and made the repair. Taylor was phenomenal! On a recent road trip across Texas my windshield was cracked by a flying rock. on the same road trip I also got in a minor accident (it was a hit and run). The trip was not kind on my car and now my bank account. I initially contacted the windshield company recommended by my insurance. Not only was the cost outrageous, but I was looking at about a 3 week wait for an appointment. On a whim I looked up auto glass companies and came across Family Auto Glass. After submitting my request for a quote I was contacted the very next day with all the information I needed. I surprisingly discovered a crack in my 2016 Lexus despite rarely driving it now with extended WFH. We found Taylor with Family Auto Glass on a google maps search in my area, so we called fully expecting to get a voicemail since it was after hours but we were able to quickly set up an appointment for the next day. Family Auto Glass is AWESOME! I was just calling around for quotes, not even planning on getting the work done on this day. Just talking to them on the phone somehow made me feel like I could trust them with the work. I ended up getting my winshield replaced the same day in my driveway between getting home from work and running errands for the day. Taylor is really great to work with. His professionalism from the time I scheduled an appointment to after installation was top notch. My SUV’s windshield was completely shattered from the last hail storm and I was unable to drive it. Taylor got me scheduled, installed, and back to driving within 2 days of calling. Great job! Showed up when Scheduled and completed the work in the scheduled timeframe. Clean work and they even put my inspection sticker on the glass and reattached my phone holder! Easy to work with and very down to earth friendly. It’s a brother sister operation with Brooke in the office and Taylor in the field and both were easy to work with. It really was so easy it almost seemed too easy. Really appreciate a business that makes my life easier. The fact that it is a family operated and local business was even better.
