The windshield of my daughter's Prius was cracked likely from a rock last Friday evening on her way home on the 405 fwy. I searched online and got a couple of quotes for the cost to replace the windshield. I called Coast Auto Glass and left a message. Jeff called me the next day and gave me a quote. He ordered the windshield Monday. He and his team came to our house and expertly installed the windshield yesterday afternoon (as we were out of town till Tuesday night).My daughter is so happy that it's now safe for her to drive again. I was at work and missed out on the process...I wish I was there to see the whole thing. I am really thankful for Jeff and his team for their exceptional services and quick responses. I had spent some time calling around to different windshield repair companies because i need a windshield installed in my Datsun 510 and my girlfriend needs her daily driver's windshield replaced. I spoke with the owner and he is not only knowledgable but explained the process, the exact price it would cost, how long it would take, etc. He explained the different types of glass to me and why to choose the more expensive one. Long story short, I took a chance, got the slightly more expensive glass and WOW. The windshield looks EPIC. It's been a few months now, no issues, no warbles and the glass is perfectly clear. I've heard a few horror stories about cloudy glass, etc... Super happy we chose Coast Auto Glass and I'm going to be calling to get my Datsun's windshield installed now too :)

EXCEEDED my expectations! Woke up on Friday to find a 21” crack in my 2007 Nissan Murano windshield...needs replacing. Initially I called Jeff at Coast Auto Glass based on his excellent Yelp reviews. I called several other companies asking about the brand/quality of glass etc so I had a pool to choose from, but Jeff was most competent, and price was reasonable for great glass. Monday I watched them (Jeff and David) install my new Pilkington windshield at my house. I would now choose Jeff because of the SUPERIOR installation they do. They use only the best products (Dow) and the right/best tools. As an automotive engineer in the business for 20+ years, the way Jeff and David do it, is the way it should be done. This is what I hoped for. They exceeded my expectations because I was going to ask Jeff to help me figure out what caused the crack. I didn’t even have a chance to ask him. Within 2 seconds (no joke) of walking up to the car, he identified the rock chip where the crack started. I couldn’t find it for 3 days, and even when pointed out to me, I could hardly see it! I could barely feel it with my fingernail. Jeff also asked me if I wanted to route my 12V GPS wire along the front of the dashboard better for a cleaner look. Heck yeah! We measured and he tucked, centered and hid the wire for a super-clean look. Lastly, I appreciated that they didn’t mind me watching and asking questions about what they were doing. They answered some questions I had from watching other windshield replacement people at the car company I use to work for….which REALLY makes me happy that I went with Jeff at Coast Auto Glass! You can also watch his video on his website/youtube. He actually does more than shown on the video, but it gives you a very good idea. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I had my car broken into. Safelight was the one authorized by AAA but the only appointment they had was 10 days out. I didn't want the hassle of doing a rental and seeing my broken-in car for the next 10 days. I chose Coast Auto Glass because of their high rating in YELP and Google Reviews! Jeff and his crew delivered 100%. He was very responsive even through text or when I left a voice message. The day I found out my car got broken into - he got the parts and scheduled me the next day for the installation since he was fully booked that day. Jim Lasiter from Coast Auto Glass replaced my windshield back in 2017 and did a great job at a reasonable price. I had to contact Jim again last week to re-install my front rear view mirror which had come unglued from the windshield. I needed it repaired ASAP and Jim did not hesitate to redo the job that day. The best news was that he did not charge me for this repair. He stated he stands by all his jobs and guarantees his work. Visiting my family from London, the passenger window to my niece's car was smashed the morning after I arrived. Jeff and his colleague were absolutely incredible and really should have arrived with Superman capes on, because they were heroes. I was stunned by how thorough Jeff was, down to picking out virtually invisible glass embedded in the mechanism to the electric window, so that my niece wouldn't be left with yet another problem. I've never known someone take such pride in their work. These are the people you need, you will only ever need, if you need glass replaced in your car.
