I came back the second time around after a week of getting the first windshield crack repaired. Just a week apart from this, my husband got another windshield crack (2 in 1 crack) on the highway. I was very upset about this happening for the second time around knowing that I just came to Ian about a week ago and something like this happened again. However, I immediately messaged Ian about it and Ian made time out of his early morning to take us to fix our windshield repair on his day off. We are so happy with the outcome of the repair. The results came out amazing however the crack will still be visual but it is definitely a lot better than what It was when the rock hit the windshield. Ian (the owner of Clarke’s Spotless) is truly a very genuine person. I contacted him to inquire about a windshield repair after a rockchip hit my car. He was one of seven individuals I reached out to after scouring the internet for a reputable place to go to for a repair. I was most inclined to secure services from him based on his swift reply and availability. I’m glad I made the choice. By the next day, (yesterday, July 30th), I met with Ian who further inspected my windshield. Luckily, my repair was very minor. What I thought was a significant fracture/chip to my windshield was a mere surface abrasion and would not deepen nor widen. Ian proceeded to smooth out the windshield and as he completed the process, talked me through what he was doing! He was transparent, honest, and kind to answer all my questions which is very comforting for a client, such as myself, who is equally interested in the craftsmanship. I had a small star crack on my car windshield. I found about Clark's Spotless Windshield service online. I contacted them by phone and I was told ro text a picture from the actual crack. I did it, and shortly after, I got a response from Ian that he could fix it and he provided me with the price. He came to my place I about 2 hours' time. Ian fixed the crack and reinsured me that it's for the lifetime fixed. Since I know where it was the crack I can see a dot only right now. Otherwise it's not visible anymore. So it took him appx 30 minutes or so to fix it. The price was very fair and we had very friendly conversation. Thank you Ian ,you had saved my windshield of cracking even more with the time. I was driving down grand central pkway, and from the opposite side of the highway, somehow a small rock chip hit the middle of my front windshield. It was a very small crack, but I was advised by my friends to get this fixed as it will spread, and a brand new windshield would be anywhere from $3k or above since I drive a Mercedes. Ian being such a down-to-earth humble person, was able to take a look at my car, help reduce the scratch but most importantly ensure that it would not expand. The process was 15-30 mins, and he also cleaned the windshield once he was done. I would recommend this guy to anyone that is in desperate need to fix their glass, he will confidently tell you whether he can fix it or it needs to be replaced. Received a star shaped chip on my windshield which I brought to Safelite through insurance. They claimed the repair they perform will only prevent the crack from getting worse, however will not improve the windshield cosmetically. Deciding not to settle with what was offered, I found Clarke’s and could not be happier with the job Ian has done. One day before heading back from Pittsburgh to NYC found a crack on my windshield , I was a bit nervous because of the 420 miles away from home , I have quickly bought those windshield repair kit to get a quick fix on my own, didn't want to the crack become larger. The night got back home start searching windshield repair, found most of the 5 stars reviews by Clarke spotless and all positive feedback. Next day get in touch with Ian, he gave me details explanation of repairing service after I submitted the picture , met him to service my car shortly after. Ian is a very knowledgeable he would explain to you all his step, because I had a star crack it takes a little longer to fix the legs but amazingly he got it all fixed.I found some people would push you to replace your windshield and not attempting to fix it. Ian would make all his effort to fix it within the repairable range so not to waste more of your money. His work on my car is flawless and hardly can visualize there is a crack. I would highly recommend Ian to be your windshield repair guy. Please bear in mind try not to repair your own you may further ruin the damage become unrepairable Ian is the man you go to , and the cost of the service is very reasonable, I am not praying any time windshield damage but I know exactly who I need to see.
