Replacement window was quick and as expected. But I now have about 5 black smudges on my white paint that won't come off, windshield adhesive on my paint that will not come off (spreads when you clean/rub it), the weatherstrip is not tight to the body at the top corners, the plastic cowl is about a 1/4" above the windshield, and due to the weatherstrip and cowl I now have standing water on my floorboard from all the recent rain. I was NOT taken care of at capital glass

Omg I wish I had read these comments before I took my daughter car..ok besides the language barrier just rude..i comes to get my car an I have my credit card in my hand the old man says didn’t i tell u to bring cash am like no u did not because you was too busy changing the price On me..I was originally told that it was going to be a 225 for windshield replacement an regulator over the phone ..when I check in he says what price I told u so I repeated he said it will be an extra 25.00 for some piece ..now how does he know this before looking at it ..then when I leave he calls an says 25.00 for windshield wipers am like the sign says 15.00 for windshield wipers.so I guess when I pick my car up Saturday my bill will be 300 ..robbery

The price and wait time is pretty good! I'm very happy from my visit 2 years ago so that's why i visited again today, last tint held up for 2 years and from what i know it's still holding strong. The only thing i would point out is the waiting area because It's very outdated but in all honestly I'm not going there for a comfortable area i just want good work! I hope this tint also holds up for a good while!

I just got off of the phone with this company… And the older gentleman on the phone was extremely rude. He said one moment please and then started asking a bunch of questions… When I confirmed the question he asked, he yelled “what kind of car is it“, so I just hung up the phone. I have had one car tinted here, and sent other customers there as well, two actually had their tinting done there. They just lost my business for my new vehicle. They do a great job, but I am a people person, and there is a certain way you do not talk to customers, or potential customers. Customer service/customer appreciation is in the garbage!

I have an 03 Yukon and without research, I scheduled a Saturday appt with Safelite for a new windshield installed. The price was $240 out the door with a $10 disposal fee included. I was not about to pay that considering I could dispose of it myself. They said the fee was non-negotiable. I walked to my vehicle and googled auto glass and Capital Auto Glass popped up so I called them. The gentleman on the phone was super nice and I asked for a quote. He stated that it was $150 out the door with new Proline wiper blades included with no BS disposal fee. He said they could take me right away also. I was stoked. I arrived here in 15 minutes and immediately my vehicle entered the shop. In less than an hour, my brand new windshield was installed and the job they done was so professional, it looked factory. The work was incredible and so was the price. It's obvious that Safelite overcharges unwary customers and the hype and high prices obviously finances their endless TV commercials. That goes to show you that local businesses beat the crap out of these chains every day of the week.

ZERO STARS! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Stay away from this "business"!!!!! These people do NOT know how to run a professional business. They are there to take as much money from you as they can, and could care less about you. I called on a Friday and tried to set up a time to come in. The guy I spoke with said 9:30 AM-10:00 AM Saturday morning and I'd be taken care of. I show up at 9:28 AM, they informed me that I am "too late" and it would be a 3 hour wait. I explained that I had an appointment scheduled the day prior, and the woman in the office could care less. Also their "$99.99 for MOST cars" is a LIE!!!. I went in with a '98 honda civic, the most basic and common car in existence, they wanted $145.00. There are PLENTY of other places in town with MUCH better service and better prices. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LYING, UNPROFESSIONAL, "business".
