Hatch Auto Glass Repair: Complete Glass

I scheduled Complete Glass to Install a new replacement windshield in my vehicle on 8-11-21. I was told by Greg that a installer would be at my house between 8:30 and 10:00 the following Friday. Great. I took the day off of work so that I could have the replacement done. I waited until 10:30 and than I made a phone call to the company because the installer was not there yet. Greg put me on hold and in a couple of minutes got back on the phone. He told me that the glass that was ordered for my truck was damaged when they received it that morning. Greg told me that they forgot to let me know that they would have to reschedule. He asked if he could come to my house on Saturday morning and replace it himself and I agreed. Greg showed up that morning and got to work replacing the windshield. About a 1/2 hour later he rang the doorbell and had me come out to the truck to show me that he had accidentally cut the wires that run to my automatic headlight sensor. He told me that this should be a warranty repair with my dealership. I contacted my dealership and just as I thought they won’t cover his mistake. Greg finished installing the windshield and told me he would come back to my house in a couple of days with someone else that can repair the wires. He said that he didn’t want to start a insurance claim but promised he would take care of the issue. I took him on his word and paid him for the job before he left. Well that has been approximately 3 weeks ago and in those 3 weeks I have left multiple voicemails and multiple text messages, he will not get back to me and now I am stuck with the repair bill to have the wires repaired and a new windshield installed again. Complete Glass does not have a brick and mortar location so it looks like I have no option but to take care of this myself. The customer service was absolutely amazing! Mr. Cogswell showed up on time, he explained what he was going to do, and the service was quick and efficient! I've used other another window repair company in the past when my driver's door window shattered. After the guy replaced my shattered window with a new one, the window made a bunch of crackling noise every time I lowered and raised the window. He left glass in the door! It was embarrassing having people in my car hearing that garbage. Eventually the window stopped working and the company did nothing to fix it! It was a waste of time and money. So I went to Complete Glass and the service was perfect! When Greg was done, he had me check out the window before leaving so I can see how it worked. Of course the window worked smoothly! The pricing was great also! He's kind, friendly, and trustworthy! I highly recommend going to them!!!

I don't know what happened to this business but it isn't good. A year ago in June, 2023, Greg replaced a window regulator which failed prior to June, 2024. During the mobile visit he was pleasant and business like. Now that the regulator has failed, getting a hold of Complete Glass or Greg himself has been a nightmare! It took MANY tries to get through, and finally someone was helpful enough to look up my information and order a new regulator. He said it would arrive on Wednesday, May 29th. No one has followed up since that day, and once again, no one answers the office phone when I call to check status, I left messages and no one has called back. RUN from this shady company and their unprofessional customer service. The BBB will be notified as well.

Greg our replacement technician was very supportive in understanding our urgent need to replace Windshield. He was with us over call guiding thru the insurance process (we ended up with self pay as my deductible was high) He even adjusted his tight schedule to accommodate our request as we were running on single vehicle use for our family. He arrived on time and finished up work sooner then he estimated. doing a quality work of replacing windshield for our SUV. Fantastic service. They were professional, on time and efficient. I have had some bad experiences over the last few months (yes months) with windshield replacement but these guys were the best! I had my windshield badly broken while I was away from home. I first tried calling a place with “Instant” in the name, but they said the earliest they could do a replacement was over a week wait. They were able to replace my passenger quarter window on my 2001. I had no luck finding this window on my own or through a different company. When I called it took him all of one minute to find the glass and was able to get someone to me that same day!
