I don’t know where their good reviews are coming from, or what was going on, but until the gentleman here that answers their phones either changes his behavior or leaves, I recommend staying away from Lake Auto Glass, Inc. I assumed he was the proprietor, but I can’t know for sure. He wouldn’t give me his name. Who in business does that? I’ve recently had some wonderful successes at two local small businesses in Milwaukee and was ready to have some more. But it was not to be at Lake Auto Glass. The first good experience I had was at Van’s Fine Men’s Shoe Shop on Greenfield. I believe it was Larry and his employee who treated me very well there. The second good experience was Napoleon's Tailor Ltd, a men’s clothing store that is going out of business in April due to retirement. Despite this Monica took excellent care of me. Her knowledge and courtesy were second to none. Then I called Lake Auto Glass. Checking in BEFORE finishing my State Farm Pocket Agent app for availability – a possible hinderance to this man’s insight - I was met with rudeness that I haven’t experienced in quite some time, if ever. When I requested the gentleman’s name he refused to give it, told me to take my business elsewhere and immediately hung up on me. Treatment like this does a disservice to all small businesses, so I persisted. Trying again, having dialed the number for their Milwaukee/Brown Deer listing the first time, I tried the Greenfield number so as to possible rectify the situation. I was directed back to the same gentleman that not only still would not provide his name, he got ruder. I was met with a warning that the conversation was being recorded. Despite immediately identifying myself as a State Farm customer he proceeded with rudeness. Whether I’m a S.F. customer or not, I should not have been treated this way. No one should. I attempted to explain why I felt slighted by him not giving his name and he was not to be persuaded. Upon stating that I was going to call my State Farm agent about the way I was being treated he became belligerent, once more told me to take my business elsewhere and hung up on me again. Apparently this gentleman doesn’t want or need any new customers. Judge for yourself, but by all means, I’d avoid grief and take your money and patronage elsewhere if you have to deal with this guy. I can’t even imagine how they stay in business with a person answering their phone treating people this way.

I was so excited that they had the glass I needed for my Audi, bad news it the tech did a poor job on the installation. He absolutely ruined a screw needed to adjust the window, and they didn't get the door put together well. I ended up having another shop redo the install. It was an expensive mistake for me choosing them, and I may still need to replace that part of the stripped screw together assembly doesn't hold. And they ask for payment upfront. I needed the fast fix but I am paying the price now I confirmed with Audi that there was no damage damage apart from the broken glass done by the thief, the fact the the tech stripped the adjustment assembly was clear, the response to this claim is not taking ownership. I was visiting out of town so there is no way to revisit the shop the tech also half told me he did a poor job when I was picking up my car I just didn't know that was what he was doing at the time.ServicesAuto side window replacement

The work was fast and I think good, but I called yesterday, the girl on the phone said to come in early the next day. The shop opens at 7am, I got there at 7:30. The owner complained that I was in early, though the shop opens at 7am. Then when I went into the shop to go to the bathroom. The owner was complaining loudly about the girl at the front desk and how I got there too early. Not good to complain about your Customers and complain about an employee to another employee.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Not Lake Auto, gave me a quote made the Appointment I was in and out less than 30minutes ! Very nice professional had a coffee. And was on my way! Love this place! This number listed is not the number for the shop. If you do call that number, you’ll get someone who acts like they don’t know who you’re talking about and be kinda rude to you. He calls someone who calls you and says they’re not the shop either. When you say this is fishy, they don’t give you the number either. When you say I’m going to go and pick my car up right now, they call someone else and text you the actual shop number. Take this information for what it’s worth.

Wife had her passenger window broken so she emailed Lake Auto about a possible quote. They responded right away with a price that I could only get the glass for at other shops with no installation. So that along with the fact that they had great reviews on google we went for it. They got us in the next morning which was Christmas Eve and I was out of there in 20 mins. I hardly ever write reviews but they def deserve it. I will be referring everyone here!

I’m a college student on a tight budget, with non-flexible hours. When I applied for a quote online from Lake Auto Glass, I received a response from a technician in minutes (not some automated reply from a computer). Matt gave me a reasonable price and got me in THE DAY OF!!!! Excellent service, friendly employees, and hopefully I don’t break another window but if I do, I’ll take my car to Lake Auto Glass.

I had my car broken into Saturday night and by sunday before noon I was able to get everything cleaned up and replaced thanks to Lake Auto Glass. Very professional service, reasonable price, and very quick work. Having them open on Sunday morning and able to work on my car was exceptionally helpful. I will use them for any future auto glass needs.

Fast service and good price. Normal five star, but felt swindled when their Google listing puts them on the Eastside, but it turns out they are in Greenfield, about half an hour from there. Asked the receptionist about the listing, she told me that the building is an empty commercial building. It is published as an operational location.

The best place you can go for auto glass replacement. Forget about the TV ads for national chains - - Lake Auto Glass is locally owned and operated, by talented, experienced professionals. You will get a great deal and speedy service as well. I really can't say enough about what a pleasant experience I had there. Highly recommended.
