Safe Auto Glass

These guys are outright unprofessional and extremely petty. They rescheduled the appointment I made with them twice before I could meet at their “shop”(basically a glorified storage unit) and they were late to their own reschedule. I had a chip repaired with resin. After 4 days the chip came back twice as large and starting to crack in multiple directions (it barely expanded before I took it in, just wanted to prevent the slowly inevitable cracking of my windshield. Their “resin” literally worked for 4 days followed by an accelerated breaking in my windshield when it failed. I called to ask for my $64 back and they informed me “the warranty”!didn’t cover refund... first off, there was no mention of a “resin warranty” and secondly they were in an immediate hurry to get me in to replace my entire windshield (minus the $64 I paid for the failed resin) after how difficult it was to get them to honor their resin appointment. All they would give me was “store credit” which means zero from an auto glass shop. I strongly believe they know this resin ruins customer windshields and bank on you needing an entire windshield replacement when it inevitably fails. The manager refused to speak with me directly and kept contacting me through his employee. Please do yourself a favor and use SAFELIGHT! It’s marginally more expensive but they are honest and aren’t trying to scam people with a “resin warranty”. These guys are pathetic and I’m sure they won’t grow out of the storage shed they due business out of on the north side. I’m all for small businesses, just not wannabe glass repair shops who steal $64 wherever they can just to pay shed rent. Also safeligt was able to fix their damage (after I was told by safe auto that they couldn’t fix the issue and could only replace the entire windshield) Rant over. To hell with these guys.

UPDATE: Do not use this company! Turns out this company used after market glass in my window that did not fit and were the ones who damaged the regulator. This did not own up to this. Confirmed by insurance and another auto body shop. Was not a great experience. Appointment set up went pretty smoothly but they vastly over promised. Couldn't fix window replacement on the first shot and made me reschedule to assess what the problem was because it was towards the end of the day. They originally thought it was the regulator, but upon a second visit they changed their mind and tried to schedule a third. I told them they had to show up with their mobile service because I couldn't take anymore time off work. I worked out the claim with their rep and my insurance company and it seemed like everything would be fixed. I then get a call the day of the mobile appointment saying the claim now wouldn't cover the regulator and I must pay out of pocket. Their manager used a very forceful tone to try to get me to pay. Overall, the management sucked and the techs were nice but very sub par. Customer service was not honest. Sketchy company as a whole. Save the hassle and don't use this crew.

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I was at the garage/store they’re now located at, 15 minutes before my appointment at 3. Was on the phone with 3 different people who worked there constantly being told “25-30” more minutes 4 times! Finally got on the phone with the so-called manager. I had been there two hours at this point surely hopeful to get my windshield replaced. I asked for a discount and he offered to take off 60$ after being there forever! He wouldn’t tell me his name. Kept claiming his name was Donald Trump, but I contacted one of his workers and found his name is THOMAS. He told me I was ungrateful and spoiled because I was upset for being there so long and told time and time again “25-30” minutes 2 HOURS LATER!!!! I was furious with every right to be because I work hard for my money. He hung up on me twice and told me to find business elsewhere. Constantly interrupting me, telling me I’m in the wrong and need to learn patience! The most unprofessional and pathetic place to ever to business with. SAFELIGHT IS THE WAY TO GO. They’re professional, and GOOD to their customers unlike SAFE AUTO GLASS. Don’t bother wasting your time!!!!!

If they had a “0” star what’s what they would get. Had an appointment for 2:30 to have our Odyssey windshield replaced. They texted and said the technician was running late, could we do 3:30? As we live about 45 minutes away, I was already well on my way. After a couple of long discussions, we agreed to a 3:00 appointment and I would just have to sit around till then. I arrived at 2:55 to a closed shop (in Madison) with no one around. After a call to Milwaukee, their main location, I was told it would be 3:25. With no tech there at 3:35 I called and was told they would check and call me right back. I left 10 minutes later with no call. I then called and tried to get them to come to our home but they couldn’t find the address online. Done. Forget them. Don’t waste your time as I did. Fortunately, I got my deposit back. Hope they sit on an Odyssey windshield for years.

Had my windshield replaced not even a year ago and first after they fixed it they cut a couple of wires for my remote start and just taped them back to get there and it took me a week to get them to fix it. Now a couple of months later my rearview mirror fell and took some of the windshield with it they told me that somebody pulled on it and broke it and I would have to pay $150 for them to fix it but I was just driving down the road and it fell off. They have been nothing but problems since I had them replace my windshield. The guy on the phone told me it fell because of the bass in my car but before I had the windshield replaced I’d never had an issue with a window breaking like that from bass. When I’m able to afford to fix my windshield I’m not going back to this place should have looked at other places. If the bass did this then why didn’t the factory one brake.

I made appointment and agreement to have my windshield replaced-It was raining that day and understandably they called to reschedule -the schedule lady was very polite - They said if I bring it to their facility in Madison they can do it - we rescheduled for noon - I took off of work and went to their location - I waited a half an hour and no one arrived so I called - I was told all appointment's must be rescheduled - I asked why I was not informed and could not get a response other than all appointment's today must be rescheduled - I asked to speak to manager in the Milwaukee location and he refused to speak with me -not real happy with their apathy for me wasting my time gas and time off from work - I demanded my deposit back - hopefully I will see it in the next five days. I recommend Elite Auto Glass

very bad company! I do not recommend to anyone !!! I'm on my BMW X5 had to change the right side window. I came the master and replace damaged wooden door detail! I asked to pay the bill but promised to return and replace the item! After that, he did not respond to calls !! When I called the company, the manager said that soon all be replaced. But nothing has been replaced, not paid for the damage! many times I called the manager, but he only promised, but did not perform. As a result, I have spoiled the door !!! I did not pay financial compensation. I do not recommend to anyone !!!

Great price and customer service. I scheduled a windshield replacement with them because they were the best price in town, after a mild scheduling setback with the appointment, I would use them again based off of their customer service. Hopefully, I won't need another new windshield, but if I did, I would come back.

Offered to Complete a small cosmetic job for FREE. All he asked for was future referrals of business! Brian did an excellent job! Super impressed by customer service. Also had back car window replaced by Safe Auto 3 years ago. Very professional job. Very competitive price. I definitely recommend!!

All I got to say is they were super friendly super helpful they do accept cash they do card but it was a little cheaper with cash I had a '02 intrepid $240 on the button to replace my window they had it done half hour you get a waiting room you get to sit in I don't want more to say.
