I needed my windshield repaired and done in a timely manner, and safelite was so convenient, flexible, and definitely the best option in Sauk county. The online service to set up and make an appointment was easy and quick. Tyler worked on my windshield and did such an awesome job, and even went the extra mile and cleaned my driver and passenger side floors. His communication and work was overall great. I highly recommend him and safelite if you’re looking for a windshield repair or replacement.

When trusting your medical issues with professionals, you expect them to verify information before working on you. Like DOB and name. This ensures that everything matches to limit harm. I have the same expectations when it comes to working on my vehicles. Safelite this morning failed to verify information and has destroyed my trust in them. When anyone schedules service you give them your VIN so they can order correct parts and verify the correct vehicle on service. This morning when the tech was scheduled to be here, I had not heard anything. I proceeded outside and did not see the van. I pulled out my phone to see if I had a missed call and noticed I missed two text messages. The first message was that the tech was getting started and the second was a pre-authorization receipt. I proceeded to call the local shop and asked if this was an error. They seemed confused and quiet. They stated they would call the tech and check in. A few moments later the tech called asking me to step outside as he needed to speak with me. I asked him if he was next to my car. He stated he was, and I informed him that he was not at my car. He then stated that he thinks he is working on the wrong car. The local shop then called me and asked how I would like to handle this. I stated to cancel the appointment due to the tech did not even verify the VIN correctly. I was told that the tech did verify the VIN. I challenged that was not possible as the VIN of my vehicle matched the receipt and I was next to my car. They stated back “Well he checked it.” I asked if they believed that I was lying and they got upset. I was then asked if I wanted them to come down and work on my vehicle, which I declined as their tech could not even complete a VIN check. Needless to say, this is unprofessional and very dangerous. I stated several times about the vehicle they are working on was wrong. They were working on someone's car without permission. These statements were dismissed by Safelite in 2 of the phone calls. So, buyers beware and remember the importance of verifying information and the person being selected to work on your vehicle.

Today I had my windshield replaced. Something no one has time for or wants to do (stupid rock). Not only that I had to drive 35 minutes to get there. So, to say I wasn't feeling very enthusiastic about the afternoon would be putting it mildly. Until I arrived....very pleasant service from the lady at the front counter. She checked me in and got the ball rolling. A short time later I see my vehicle being moved and she told me 2-3 hours. About 90 minutes goes by and the tech comes in to tell me it all went well but there were some error codes in my camera system that he needed to work on. Over the next 30 minutes he came back a couple times saying he was having no luck and I may have to take it to the dealership. We are now there after hours, people were going home. They kept working on it, making calls to tech support, etc. Eventually, they figured it out. Hats off to everyone there. I hope I never need another windshield replacement, but if I do this place will be doing it. Excellent!!!

My windshield was replaced by Safelite in my driveway. The whole process to the completed work was handled timely and professionally. I was able to get a timely appointment, within three days. The communication was excellent. The technician was timely in arrival and completion of the windshield replacement. The technician was knowledgeable and communicative on what was done and steps necessary while the installation was curing over the next 48 hours. Safelite will be used in the future based on the excellent service from the initial call to the instructions following completion of the job.

The staff provided extraordinary customer service. My windshield replacement was easy to schedule. The work was performed efficiently with a high regard for quality and completed on time. Everyone at the Baraboo shop was courteous and professional to work with. As well, communication and follow up was excellent. I will recommend using Safelite in Baraboo to anyone!

I had my windshield replaced yesterday and Tyler went above and beyond... He was here before my scheduled appointment time had it completed fast and when it was completed I was very amazed to find he had wiped down my dash cleaned my windows and vacuumed my front floor boards.... I highly recommend Safelite!!!! Thank you Tyler for an outstanding job!

We have used Safelite for multiple repairs. In the past, we have always been happy with the experience. However, in May 2025 that was not the case. The driver has to look through the star crack in order to drive, which is highly unusual and not what we experienced in the past. I don’t know what happened to this company, but something is not correct.

Ian was awesome! Professional, well-mannered, friendly & knowledgeable. Made me feel at ease with the windshield replacement & had the whole thing finished in no time. The whole process was easy & the technician was awesome. A+++ I was so impressed I even ended up buying some new wiper blades vs. buying & installing them myself.

Safelite was able to find replacement glass for my RAM 1500 driver side door where dealers couldn’t. The price was significantly less than dealer quoted. Safelite tech installed and cleaned original manufactured glass in an hour. Professional courteous service. I will start with them before going to dealership next time.

I just got my windshield replaced on Friday. I submitted the claim Monday and they were quick enough to get the work done in 1 week. I had a very nice experience with this Safelite. Tylor was my technician and he did an amazing job on the windshield! Definitely recommend to anyone getting a replacement/fixed windshield.
