Absolutely do not recommend!! I paid over $1000 cash for a windshield REPLACEMENT to avoid insurance rates going up for making a claim. The online quote you receive shows less than $500 When you actually arrive at your appointment, they tell you that that’s only the price for materials. I know this is a common issue for customers because the man right after me had the same question. I received my car at close of business that day, hurried home and then looked over the work done. I cannot believe they are ok with doing such a poor job and charging people. When I called to get problem fixed, they said they knew who did it wo looking into it. So, they have poor quality workers on staff and do nothing about it!?! In all I took three days worth of drop off and pick up round-trip. That is there and back 12 times. I paid for two Ubers I was told by Safelite employees they would fix the problem as warranty work and I would get a discount. You can’t consider it warranty work if your original work was garbage. They don’t guarantee their work which is dangerous, very disappointing, and frustrating. They again replaced my windshield, but refused the discount they offered. The seal around my windshield was not lined up in each corner. The seal was not glued properly to the windshield. There were random gaps in the glass coverage and they scratched my vehicle during replacement. After receiving the second windshield it still isn’t quality work. A large piece of plastic slides GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I recently brought my Toyota Camry here to see if they could buff some scratches out of my windshield. They took one look at my windshield and said they couldn't; I would need a new windshield. They were very friendly and professional, but they didn't even offer to try. I would have been willing to pay them for their time if they at least tried. Quoted me almost $1k for a new, non-OEM, windshield. I decided to wait and see if I could fix the windshield myself. I spent time doing research online, bought the product and materials recommended, and spent four hours working on my windshield. I was able to get all the scratches out just fine. My windshield looks great, every scratch is gone, and it only cost me $65 all in. I understand that businesses need to make money, but it's a pretty big turn off to know that they actually could have fixed my windshield without any issues. To me, it seems they just wanted the money it would have cost me to replace the windshield because it was more than what I would have had to pay them to buff out the scratches.

Windshield replacement m. Five stars overall. But be careful. Read the small print! The initial quote did not include the glass recycling fee ($39.99) or taxes. The upside is that I called customer service to confirm this, and ended up getting a much better deal. The call service agent was awesome, and was able to waive the class recycling fee, secure and additional $50 off as a new customer, and include "Farmers Cash" which allowed the company to reference my insurance in order to get a lower price on materials even though my deductible was higher than the total job. All in all, the windshield replacement was more than $100 cheaper than the other bids I had. But I had to read the fine print and do a little haggling! Additionally, the technician who did the actual work, Ian, was working outside his normal area, but showed up promptly, had a firm handshake, explained everything well. I have total confidence in his workmanship.

Neglected to tell me until after I had paid I would need to source a new rearview mirror. Told me I could just "get one at a local parts store". I drove around for an hour and not even the dealership could get one. have to order one online and wait. Communication is the biggest issue. If they'd have told me upfront and helped me find one I would've been happy. when I went back an hour and a half later and asked for a small refund to pay for a new one because they hadn't told me, I got a shrug and a "why would we do that". Old rearview was left on the floor on the passenger side and has a small corner broken off that I know for sure wasn't broken before, because the kind of mirror I had actually was at every parts store and I would've replaced it for the cheap $5. Would not recommend this store, go to another local place and support people who actually care about the cars they work on

I am only giving them one star just because the scheduling process was nice and easy but I would absolutely not recommend or go back. I had scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance when I drove 40 minutes and showed at 7:00 am for my appointment the worker said I hope you don’t drive far because we don’t have the parts to do the window replacement. I never received a call the day prior and not even the morning of they waited until I arrived. Unfortunately the manager was not in and was not going to be returning for another week because he was on vacation. When I called the manager he never apologized or had anything to say why knowone reached out to let me know. Extremely poor customer service and wish I would have checked the reviews before even making the appointment because they have alot of negative reviews.

Safelite did an excellent job with my windshield! I am extremely impressed with their professionalism and service. My windshield sustained an initial chip from a stone a dump truck kicked back and with the changing temperatures, the windshield began cracking horribly. It went nearly all the way across to the driver's side. I decided to try Safelite and am very happy with their work. Not only was making an appointment easy, but I was given $60 off my service. I dropped my SUV off for my appointment and the man who greeted me was welcoming and friendly. I was told they would give me a call when my vehicle was done. Not only did I get text updates about the repair, but I got a call an hour later! Service was fast and pickup was a breeze. I highly recommend Safelite and will come back for any future window/glass needs!

Will never work with this company again. I was working from home and thought what a great service to have someone come to my home to replace my back driver door. Wrong. Jadon was the technician who worked on my window. He completely destroyed my car. Did not install the new window in correctly causing a lot of damage to my trim. The glass that broke left pieces in my door and he said he would clean it out the best he could, I even gave him our shop vac cause the company does not provide them. Cleaning solution or some oil based liquid left dropping down the inside and outside of my car door. I was completely disappointed with my service and even more upset they destroyed my car. All they could offer me was windshield wipers …

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Safelite Appleton, specifically with an employee named Jadon. Despite Safelite's lifetime warranty, Jadon initially refused to perform a warranty replacement of my windshield. It was only after I provided additional information that he reluctantly agreed to replace it. However, the replacement windshield was installed with massive swirl marks in the middle, as if someone had taken a wire wheel to the glass. This is completely unacceptable and has left me extremely frustrated with the quality of service provided. I expected much better from a company like Safelite. This experience has been nothing short of an epic fail.

Terrible repair. I went to get a small chip filled and still very noticeable. They use resin to fill it and then take a razor blade to make it flush. They don’t buff the resin to make it transparent so you can see exactly where it was scrapped off. They charge $165 for labor cost and it only took 30 minutes. For the cost, I expected to barely notice the chip I wanted to get a professionally done because I thought they could do a better job than doing it myself, but I was very much incorrect. Save yourself $150 and buy a kit off Amazon because the quality will probably be better

One thing I will say is, they do have good costumer service. I wish their work was as good. Last winter, I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for them to replace the windshield. Well... 3 months later, my rear mirror fell off. I took it back in, they replaced the windshield again. Fast forward to winter, and every time there's even a little moisture in the air, it collects in the inside of my windshield, and on my dash. I would not recommend safelite to others. It's too bad, I've had good luck with them in the past. But that was in another state.
