Tech came to the house, did an excellent job in under an hour and got refunded $40 because I found a better discount code after I scheduled the appointment and was able to apply it before service was completed!! I much prefer a tech show up where I am instead of going into a safelite shop for sure! The vibe at a shop in Tn and in Ms compared to the tech who showed up in Ohio was night and day! Dealing with a room full of asshole customers kills the vibe I’m sure… my tech was vibing high on a gloomy day! A++ service indeed!

My daughter got a very small chip in her windshield from a rock. We went through Erie to have it repaired. The website warns that when you do a repair that a small blemish will still be there. Once the repair was completed, it was doubled in size. That was on 6/6/2025. I contacted Erie/Safelite again on that same day and they said they would have the windshield replaced. They would have to have the windshield ordered but could have it in by 6/14/2025. I told them we could not do it that day and rescheduled for 6/21/2025 which gave them an extra week to get it. I was then contacted by Safelite on 6/18/2025 and was told they still did not have it and would take me off of the books and would call me back next week. Over the weekend of 6/21 and 6/22, the little blemish had cracked completely across the windshield (I am guessing from the extreme heat). I called back on 6/23/2025 to Safelite, which you cant call the local location directly, so after about 10 minutes I was finally connected to the local location. I was told it should be in by 6/24/2025 and that they would contact me to schedule something. I asked that they contact me either way on 6/24/2025 and they said they would.... No call on 6/25/2025. I got a call on 6/26/2025. It was scheduled to be replaced on 7/1/2025. My daughter picked it up on 7/2/2025 (there was flooding and could not get to the shop on 7/1/2025). There was tape on the windshield which I know from experience is normal but no one told her when she could remove it. Her dashcam cables were dangling from the top of the windshield all the way down. They had told her when she dropped it off that they would do their best. It wasn't even attempted! 2 minutes extra of their time and they could have tucked them in when putting the new windshield in. They also did not move her inspection sticker from the old windshield to the new one or even tell her about it. I had discovered it when I saw her a few days later. I will never use this location again and will advise everyone I know about this experience. I had called Erie/Safelite for a follow up call and was told a manager would contact me. That was a week ago......

Filed an insurance claim to repair a small chip that was purely cosmetic and not noticeable in day to day. The Safelite tech showed up and attempted to repair and made the crack 10x worse requiring a new windshield due the crack being bigger than the allowable limit by WV code. The possibility of making the crack worse was NOT disclosed to me when the repair was setup/started and if it was I would NOT have moved forward with it because the other crack wasnt visible day to day. This "no cost" repair to me is now going to cost me a new windshield which I will definitely not be using Safelite for given they caused the further damage PLUS will have to get Honda dealership to recalibrate the safety sensors which is another $300-600. Future tip: add disclosures/waivers, this is ridiculous that a company this big wouldn't have that.

Called and told them about my vehicle. Said a molding needed to be ordered from their distribution center. I was ok with it scheduled for a Tuesday. Was called days before saying a molding needs to be ordered from the distribution center… I said I know it’s coming in and Installation is set to be Tuesday. I said let’s try the next Saturday. I was called Friday morning to confirm I have an appointment for Saturday said thank you got a email I thought things were set. I then get a phone call three hours later. The guy tells me they need to order the molding from the distribution center. I said enoughs enough and told him to cancel everything and I went to a new glass place. I hope to never hear distribution center again. They had 11 days and couldn’t get their ducks in a row.

Google would like for me to leave a review on how the tech did on my car. I cannot leave an honest review because they request that I leave my car and come back and get it, so I was not there during the new install. However, the lady at the front desk was super rude, when I first got there, I had asked her a question and instead of helping me she says, " I don't know, I don't have an answer for that". WHAT? How do you deal with customers every day, but you cannot provide a positive or reassuring response to your customers questions. Hell, even a "I am sorry I don't know the answer to that but let me see if I can find the answer for you" would have worked just fine!

Absolutely worthless company Employees. Down right rude. My appointment was booked for 3 hours, I was 10 mins late because of traffic, and they refused to fix my windshield. All the employees were just standing or sitting in their little office area staring at me. No wonder it takes so long to do a window with all the employees lounging around turning customers away. Go to Glass of America down the street to be treated professionally and be valued as Safelite does not know how to do any of that. And the entire building looks dirty. Very poor service and company. Would not even give 1 star but you have to to give a review

Super easy to schedule online. I was worried about having to be at the appointment and it wasn’t necessary. William called me the morning of and went over the details then asked if I had any questions. Everything was taken care of and I did not have to sit and wait for the technician to show up. He called me with any issues and was very friendly and sincere. The service went very well and it didn’t take very long at all. Everything was communicated with me over the phone and I would highly recommend using Safelite to anyone who needs a new window.

If I could ever speak to a human being I would love to use their services again. I work in technology and they are trying to leverage AI to answer their phones and will not connect you to a human. When I did have their service a few years ago I loved it and would give them 5 stars the only reason there is 2 stars is because of this new (poor) customer experience of not being able to speak to a real person. The AI will hang up on you if you ask to speak with a representative more than once.

From start to finish the service technician was friendly called to let me know where I was in his line up and an approximate time then called to let me know he was on his way, once here he explained the process and what could happen and resumed me about my insurance coverage if the unfortunate did happen but did did a great job. Thank you for the convenience of coming to me.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price

My experience with Safelite installing my windshield was first rate. They even made it so that I did not have to talk with my insurance company. They came right to my house for the install. That was great. On a previous windshield install (different insurance company) I used a local glass company. They were not nearly as friendly as Safelite and I had to take my car to their shop. Safelite is stars in my book.
