Skyway auto body & Detail & Auto Glass Mobile Repair

My 2024 Tesla Model Y was involved in a Bump and Run on the driver-side quarter panel. I ended up having to call around "Tesla Certified" shops because when I went to the Tesla Service Center in SODO Seattle, they said that they do not do Body Work and that they can only replace plastic parts. As you can see in the photos, the dent and scratch on the quarter panel were very minor and the "Tesla Certified" Shops (Which honestly is more of a marketing gimmick than anything and gives them the ability to overcharge you by so much) were giving me estimates for thousands of dollars which in my opinion was absolutely ridiculous for the repair that my Tesla needed. I started widening my search for more AutoBody shops and Skyway Auto Body popped up because of all their previous good reviews. I spoke with the Owner, Tony and he mentioned that he is not a Tesla Certified shop but all that means is they cannot order Tesla Parts. For the repair I needed, he could make the paint match and make it look brand new for a very reasonable price and I agreed to have my Tesla Model Y repaired here. He got me on his schedule the same week of my phone call with him which was amazing because most AutoBody Shops are "booked" out months (and I think that is also a marketing gimmick for shops to say they are booked months out). The repair took roughly four days and Tony was very responsive whenever I had any questions and was sending me updates with photos of my car throughout the process. The moral of the story is that If you are a Tesla owner and need some auto body work done and you don't want to be overcharged and be placed on a "booked months out" shop, I highly recommend Skyway Auto Body. They will take care of your Tesla needs.

I got rear-ended and had to deal with the other guy trying to skate out of paying for me to take my Mercedes to a shop after I tried to be nice and let him pay out of pocket. I did get his insurance info just in case so everything eventually went through. When I checked for nearby auto shops , Skyway Auto showed up, and when i drove to the shop I missed it the first time around because it was not visible from the road until you are right up on it. The shop is small but Tony ( who I assume is the owner) was very professional, friendly and went out of his way to insure things went smoothly. He even personally drove me to Enterprise car rental after they dropped the ball and didn't show up at my pickup time that I had scheduled, after that he walked inside with me and waited until I was sure that I was at the right enterprise location because they had more than one in Renton. Throughout the process Tony kept me updated through emails, phone calls, and text messages. I was afraid that my refinished bumper may not match the rest of the car because it was factory paint and I've had the car for quite a few years, but when I got the car back it was a perfect match and my car was washed and clean. Had a fantastic experience with Skyway Auto Body after our car was hit and needed body work. They were able to get us in within a matter of weeks rather than scheduling months out as everyone else in the Seattle area was doing. The staff were very friendly and respectful, and responded quickly whenever I called. They took care of all the insurance dealings completely independently, which impressed me since they weren’t on our insurance company’s list of shops and I had assumed I’d need to be the go between. Work was done quickly and our car looks great! Only two minor cons I can think of are that I did need to reach out to get updates and the location is a bit tricky to exit - it’s on a busy road with limited visibility. That said, the communication is understandable for a small high demand business and one of the guys actually went out into the road to block traffic when I pulled out of their driveway so I felt very safe. I lucked out because I only live a few blocks from their location, but they are more than worth the drive for folks who don’t live nearby!

SKYWAY AUTO BODY AND GLASS is the best!!! It was highly recommended to me by Kevin of A1 Towing, trustworthy. And now, from my own experience, I highly recommend this awesome auto body shop. Staff has great customer service, honest, and provides good quality workmanship. When I dropped off my Lancer for collision repair, Tony explained the entire process, and offered to drive me home. They scrutinize the extent of damage that my car incurred and fixed it until it's restored to its original good condition, looks and drives like brand new!!! Tony efficiently communicated between me and Liberty Mutual, and sent them necessary documents or requirements in a timely manner, to get works approved for repairs. If you got into a collision or simply needs auto repair, Skyway Auto Body and Glass is the way to go!!! Its stress free to do business with them!

My windshield needed a replacement so I was googling places, reading reviews, & getting quotes from around the area. I ended up choosing this place because not only was it affordable but the employee was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. His name is Tony and he responded so quickly and efficiently. I called him on a Thursday late afternoon and he got me in the next day in the morning and replaced my windshield for the exact amount he estimated it to be. Right in time because it snowed the next few days! They did an amazing job and their customer service is above average. Honestly they deserve more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this place to everyone reading this review! I will continue to go back to this place in the future and so glad I picked this one out of all the places! Thank you Tony!

There’s definitely a reason they have nearly 5 stars. Tony and his team of three were amazing. Especially Chris. Chris made sure he understood what I was looking to do. Confirmed day of drop off as well. Additionally, he gave me updates as to their progress like how quickly they were able to get my car back into my hands. Before coming here I shopped around other auto body shops. This one was more affordable than the others I went to in the area. I’m definitely more than happy coming back here if needed and genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. Overall, great, attentive, and reliable. Thank you to Tony and his team!

I had my front windshield glass replaced at Skyway Auto Body & Auto Glass Mobile Repair. They quoted a very fair price and completed the work on the promised schedule. Very satisfied. I also had them do some body work to repair some minor damage to the paint in the rear of the same vehicle. Again, they quoted a very fair price, did quality work, and finished the job earlier than scheduled. Tony is easy to work with and very straight forward with his business. I highly recommend this shop. Tony is very easy to work with, knowledgeable, and communicates very well with the customer through the process. I was involved in a car accident and had never went through the process of having insurance cover my repairs, Tony explained why things had already occurred and what to expect moving forward. I had a fantastic experience at Skyway Autobody! I came in with damage to my fender that was preventing my door from opening, and Tony helped me immediately. He was able to start the repairs right away. Since I didn’t have a ride while he worked, he personally drove me to a nearby café so I could wait comfortably, then picked me up when my car was ready. The service was fast, the price was very reasonable, and Tony was incredibly friendly and professional. Highly recommend this shop for their excellent customer service and quality work!

My experience with Skyway Autobody has been a great one! I have brought my body work to them numerous of times and they have not failed me yet. They are very cost efficient and prices are for the people. Nothing is too expensive nor over priced. Chris and his daughter Sara are very kind and get work done when they say its going to be done.
