You won't find a better deal or nicer business owner than Mr. Curtis Horton at American Auto Glass. My new Bronco took a windshield full of rocks thanks to a dump truck with an unsecured load. American Auto Glass was recommended to me by a friend and my friend nailed it. Curtis provided two different options (OEM & Aftermarket) and explained the difference between them. His quote was a fraction of the big box auto glass companies and his customer service was top notch. He actually knew the product versus reading some script and he was able to get me in immediately. Installation/calibration was quick, the product top notch and he is even great conversationalist. If you are in the Greater Hampton Roads area and in need of a windshield give Curtis a ring, you can thank me later. I hope I never need his services again but it's good knowing if I do there is an honest glass company in the area I can depend on.

After calling more than a dozen different auto glass repair shops to get quote, not only did these folks provide the best price but the service was absolutely phenomenonal! Service was incredibly prompt, apointment was a breeze, and the representative (Philip) called before heading out to confirm. I had requested an appointment initially at a different location. When Philip called and I explained the vehicle was at my house and not at initial location planned, this was not a problem. (excellent communication and service). Philip came to my house, replaced my windshield, explained exactly what he was doing and the whole process. He is incredibly respectful, informative, conscientious, and provides some of the best customer service I have ever received. Outstanding service, great price! If Philip represents everything that is American Auto Glass, this best car glass repair company. Period. Taking those two into account, the quality level of service and the price, there is no competition and American Auto Glass is the best and unbeatable! Service was Excellent!! I called Auto Glass Now after walking outside and seeing my back drivers side window completely shattered! I was already upset for walking outside on my way to urgent care with the flu; only to have to deal with a broken window. After going back and forth with my insurance and the “other guys” who’s commercial I see every day *rolls eyes * .. I called these guys! The young lady I spoke to on the phone was friendly, knowledgeable and scheduled me within minutes! I asked if they offered mobile service and was scheduled for three days later! I paid out of pocket and they were less expensive than some of the “competitors “with better service ! The day of my appointment, the gentleman called and told me what time he would be there that morning ; and arrived on time . He gave me a window of how long it would take to fix my window ; and it was fixed within 45 minutes!! He is a quiet guy ,not much of a talker ; and that’s okay he was there to do his job and I respect that !! lol I told him I’m not a person to “hover”, so I went back upstairs to work. When he was finished he called me to come outside and check everything. He vacuumed out the glass I missed as well!! I can’t tell that I ever had to have the window replaced!! It rained recently and I haven’t had any leaks or issues !! I would recommend this place if you want fast, courteous service !!

My sunroof in my Ford Escape was shattered on New Years Eve and all of the glass places I called said they dont do sunroof glass. I called safelite first and could never get anyone on the phone to even ask a question you are forced to schedule an appointment online. I searched further and found Lee Whitehead and quickly gave him a call. He was courteous and professional through out the entire process. He called me back and told me he would be able to order my glass and gave me a price to install it which was very reasonable. He will come to your residence and perform the work that is asked of him he works with your schedule. Had a crack in my windshield that I felt was not going to pass inspection and needed a repair. Here's my review: #1 - Jody and her husband, Dale, are 2 of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet #2- I contacted them at 10:00 am today and Jody got me in at 12:30 pm today. Where would you get that type of service anywhere else?! #3- repair done and we were out of there in an hour (mainly because we were talking, the actual repair did not take that long). I highly recommend Jody's Windshield Repair to anyone who needs a cracked or dinged windshield repaired. AND, they offer a lifetime guarantee on their repair! And can we talk about price? It would have cost me over $1,000 to have my windshield replaced, which I was told would need to be done. This place took amazing care of my car! Their services were fast and I only went here because they had high rating on Google. I took my car in Wednesday after work to get a quote for my windshield although it was very busy at the time, Andy was able to go out of his way to assist me. I explained to him that the cause of damage was unknown to me and that I found my windshield cracked when I returned to the parking lot after getting off work and only realized it when I was taking my sun shades down.He was very thorough and professional even explained to me that the process of replacing my windshield will take 3-4 hrs and was able to get me scheduled for the same week on a Saturday. I dropped my car off and everything went just as planned. The greatest thing that saved me time was that they were able to put all my stickers back on my window especially my safety sticker, I thought it wasn’t possible and I would have to go back to the shop that did my safety inspection to get the sticker replaced. I was able to drive off feeling safe knowing that the crack no longer exists. Thank You! Low Price Auto Glass and your team for your amazing service.

I had a dilemma with my hood popping up on the expressway in turn shattering my windshield and denting the roof of my car . I After calling and physically bringing my car to all of the auto glass shops only to get astronomical prices and staying I would have yo go to a body shop to repair the dent in the roof prior to them replacing my shattered windshield ! Now mind you I have a 2001 Honda Accord . The problem with these other companies was the prices were not consistent I mean one wanted close to 600 when another wanted close to 500 . Then there were the 400 group !! All of them continued to say get the roof fixed first . I said well would you be able yo fix it without me getting the dent out ? You could hardly notice the dent in the roof !! They all said yes but we don’t like to !! So I continued to call expecting to spend at least 350 closer to 400. I came upon ROCK STAR AUTO GLASS!! He quoted 231.89 and I’ll see you Saturday morning which was the next day !! So before I could even drink my coffee this young man had started in my car and was finished within the hour !! Now mind you he never mentioned the dent in the window ! He was so PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY!! His price was YHE BESt OUT THERE!! We don’t plan for windshields to shatter so having to get them fixed can be a burden !! Well imagine how delighted I was when this young man quoted 231.89 as opposed to 600, 500,400 and then I realized the reason these other companies didn’t want to fix the windshield with a dent in the roof..! I guess it was a little more of an effort to fix !! ROCK STAR AUTO GLASS IS THE BEST OUT THERE !!! GO NO WHERE ELSE !!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!IF IIf I could give 10 stars I would !! This Safelite is located next to a few restaurants and shops. I was able to drop off the keys and take my six-year-old to a restaurant next-door to grab lunch. Afterwards, we returned to the very tidy waiting room, with my child’s ukulele in tote. She would occasionally strum her instrument, and no one seemed to mind. There were plenty of tables and chairs. I did see a few people comfortably working on laptops while they waited. The front desk personnel were not overly friendly, but they were extremely professional and polite. The bathroom was clean and had a changing station. I intentionally left my vehicle dirty from the beach and a short road trip, knowing that there would be technicians in and out during the repair. The service tech did vacuum out the two front floorboards, knowing how much of a mess it was to begin with. Although unnecessary, it was appreciated. All-in-all this was a positive experience and we would return to this location for future needs.
