We had a broken windshield on the first day of our vacation at Smith Mountain Lake. After reviewing several repair options suggested by my insurance company, I contacted Williams Auto Glass based on the overall positive feedback from their customers. Mike Williams coordinated closely with me to complete my insurance claim and agreed without hesitation to provide mobile repair service at my vehicle's location, which was well over a one hour drive outside of his usual service area. Mike arrived promptly at our scheduled appointment time and immediately went to work. He performed each step of the glass repair with the highest degree of skill and professionalism. As he was working on the repair, he explained that his extensive experience has taught him to use only the highest quality glass (including OEM glass, when requested), adhesives, and other materials to ensure a "factory new" result with the finished repair. My overall experience with Williams Auto Glass was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. They are true professionals in their industry who went the extra mile (literally) to ensure I received a professional glass repair with minimal disruption to our family vacation. I give them my highest recommendation.

Cracked windshield/Replacement I set up a request online. Within the hour I got a call from the office (I believe her name was Katie) So friendly and helpful, connected me with my insurance company and made sure I understood my options, the process and timeline. My schedule is very unpredictable and she was very understanding and accommodating. I also got another call when the approval was complete / ordered, and when to expect the windshield to be delivered / date of install. Day of installation- Mike called and let me know his schedule for the day, kept me updated on delays, worked with my limited availability and came to me. He was considerate and made sure I was on time for my appointments for the evening. He is very punctual, professional and personable. I don't typically write reviews but my experience with Mike at Williams Auto Glass was so awesome that I felt compelled to do so (even though it's been several months since my interaction with him.) Mike replaced the windshield in my 2013 Honda Accord in December. He was easy to talk to, extremely friendly, very honest with information, and super flexible with scheduling. I had several questions about the quality of aftermarket glass compared to an OEM windshield and his answers and explanations set me at ease. The new windshield is as good, if not better, than OEM and fit and finish is perfect. I felt pricing was incredibly reasonable too. Just an all around great experience. Mike and Katie took care of me when my windshield developed a large crack. I was dreading going through the process of dealing with getting it replaced, but I can’t imagine a better, easier outcome! They called me promptly the next business day after I submitted the insurance claim, did all the legwork with insurance, fit me in as soon as the new windshield was delivered (two days, which worked perfectly with my schedule), were very flexible on timing, fast with installation, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Mike’s work is exceptional, and he and Katie and both very kind. If you have the chance to use Williams Auto Glass, do not hesitate — you’ll be supporting a local business and will receive top-notch service.

Williams Auto Glass was wonderful to work with! Easy to get on the phone- explained the options- worked it out with my insurance company- all I had to do was call My insurance and tell them who I wanted to use- Williams Auto Glass took it from there- called me to let me know my claim was approved and to set up the appointment- was even willing to come to me! I had my car scheduled for a service with the dealer and Williams Auto Glass did my windshield replacement at the dealership while my car was in for service! They worked out the details for time and I didn’t have to do a thing! Great wonderful customer service! Mike knows how to treat a customer and the value of service! Williams Auto glass made my windshield replacement SO easy for me. I love that they are a family small business with a personal touch. When I call, I know I’m going to be speaking to Katie, not AI. The attention to detail with the replacement itself was wonderful. All I had to do was make one call with my insurance company, and they got me scheduled. When the day of my replacement came, it was raining, which affected the scheduled plans so I received a proactive call and Williams Auto Glass offered to come pick up my vehicle for me, bring it to their shop for glass replacement and then drive it back to me. As a very busy mom & business owner, my experience with Williams Auto Glass was a pleasant addition to my life!

Keep Mike's number in your wallet.. Really enjoyed his committed effort & service in coming to us & in resolving our Audi's rear view mirror reattachment, with the rains ensure still intact & operable. He was very thorough & informed us as to cate, concerns and challenges with this kind of repair, as dealers and shops won't do it, they simply want to replace the entire windshield with an entirely new rear view mirror...something that is not fiscally possible for most (especially if the windshield is good)...geeze. Mike is also a great guy, with his heart and mind focused on what ultimately matters. ;) Thank you again Mike...we will keep you posted as the seasons change.

I would highly recommend Williams Auto Glass. Mike was very nice and knowledgeable. He came and looked at my car the next morning after I spoke with him. The crack could not be repaired so he had to order a new Lexus windshield, which was back ordered for almost a month. He did check with several Lexus dealers to make sure that the windshield was truly back ordered, which I thought was smart and thorough! Mike called me as soon as he heard it was in stock and we set up an appointment. He came to my work and did the installation. Very convenient and he did a great job!!

Great customer service. Very friendly and accommodating. I tend to procrastinate so it took me about 2 months to finally schedule with them and Katie was so nice and helpful the entire way through. Mike was also very kind and offered to come to my workplace to pick up my vehicle to replace my windshield after there was an issue during my first install. They went above and beyond making things right after this, though. You can’t find that care to help a customer everywhere. I’d recommend Williams Auto Glass to anyone needing glass related repairs.
