I had my windshield replaced after hitting a down tree after a storm. I scheduled my appointment on a Saturday for the following Monday morning to be replaced at a local business because that's where I had to leave my car. Called me Monday and said they didn't get the glass and rescheduled for Tuesday, which would've be fine except I could no longer keep my car parked where I had left it. So I asked for them to come to my house less than 15 minutes down the road. I was told that they did not service my home address. So I had to drive my car with a busted windshield TWICE in order to have the windshield replaced. Later on the same day of replacement my passenger side windshield wiper blows off and scratches the windshield after noticing that the wipers aren't even operating correctly, like he had put them back on backwards. This was also accompanied by an ungodly whistle if I had gone over 50 mph. So I call them back to complain and they said that they would replace the windshield in a week, after the glue had set. So I argued to have them come to my house over driving 15 minutes to meet them when I was literally the next town over and the technician who replaced my windshield had mentioned he was driving to Ohio after he was finished with my car. They called me again the next Monday morning saying that they didn't order the glass and it wouldn't be there in time to replace it Tuesday so they would have to reschedule again for that Wednesday. I said fine, I just want wipers that work correctly and a windshield that isn't scratched. When the technician arrived at my house he tried to talk my finacee out of replacing the windshield stating that he'd get chewed out over the mistake and that the company wasn't liable to begin with.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

My insurance provider set me up with this company to replace a windshield. The answering service initially made an error, no big deal, I called back and had it fixed. An appointment was made for a technician to fix the windshield the following day. I received a text message saying the technician would arrive between 11:00 and 1:00, then immediately received another text saying it would be at 1:00. No big deal. By 2:30 no one had arrived; I spoke to the technician who said he was backed up, and would be at my place next. No one ever came, no one ever called. I called the next morning to the local business, and of course was put through to the answering service again. After yet another call, the person said I see where your appointment was missed by the technician, I will have a supervisor call you back momentarily. No one ever called. Terrible customer service. I called my insurance company and we went with someone else.

The last winter storm put a long crack in my front window ( driver's side ) I called three auto glass companies in my area and choose Glass America. They were wonderful and also gave me the best price. Melissa (customer Representative) was very friendly and professional. She took her time in speaking with me , gathering my information and answering my questions I loved that the window delivery and installation date was in a timely manner . Randy the technician called the morning of installation to confirm the time and place. He was also very nice - he let me pick the time that worked best for me. He was prompt on arrival and very professional. After completion, he explained the care of my window along with the warranty and the invoice details. I am pleased with the work and the overall experience with this company. Great choice.

I spoke with Mohammad to schedule the appointment. He was incredibly helpful and super-efficient. During the same phone call, he helped me file my insurance claim as well as set up my appointment for the next day. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, including him reading everything back to me to ensure correctness. The repair was done at my house the next day and my husband was present. He could not remember the technician's name who installed the windshield but could not compliment him enough. Stated he was quick, professional, knowledgeable, and had the entire replacement finished in under an hour. We are both extremely happy with every aspect of the process. If we need any window repairs again, we will certainly be back and have already begun recommending Glass America to our friends.

Insurance company recommended Glass America. They set up for their tech to come out and replace door glass in my car . I received call from the tech that he was there and would let me know when he was done. About 45 minutes later he called and told me that he was unable to complete the installation due to bolts being rounded off and he had taped the glass in place. After a lengthy phone call to the office I was credited back my money. I took my car to a local glass repair shop and was told and shown that the tech was the one who had probably rounded the bolts off. After a 2 hour wait the local shop had my window installed and working. I have learned a lesson from this experience. Amazing Adventure

We did not use insurance. We chose this provider on our own. Our front windshield was cracked all the way across and every other local company either didn't call us back or wanted almost 150 more than what this company charged us. They rescheduled our first appt because of availability but they were prompt the next morning. The man called and let us know, then we received a text about our time, then he called when he got here and was polite and kind and didnt mind our kids being nosy and worked quickly with wonderful manners. Did I mention this company charged almost 150 less than 3 other local highly advertised companies? I'll never call anyone else when I need glass. Total lifesaver.

I had (still have) a very small chip and crack in my windshield. The service tech did come to my work place to repair and was very nice. (This is the reason it isn’t 1-Star). There is hardly any difference from before they “fixed” it. The crack is obviously still there. I called to speak to someone about a refund, bc what did I really pay $115 for. I was told that if the windshield gets worse they’ll add the money to a whole windshield (another $247) then was hurried off the phone by the customer service person stating that the tech would not be able to service the same spot again and that I would receive a call from the dispatcher. Never heard from anyone. I am very disappointed.

I had someone break out my rear window in my car at the Roanoke City parking garage so called my insurance agent, Banks Insurance (another great company). They called Glass America who called me within 30 minutes, understood my serious issue as I could not drive the car. They had someone at my work with 3 hours, replace the window and clean up all the glass in the car as if nothing happen. The gentleman doing the work was friendly and very respectful of the vehicle and surrounding. Will certainly use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

I came in to replace my work van’s windshield due to ice impacting the screen. I thought I would be in here forever on a Friday, like how everyone warned me about. I am here right now and when I say, these guys work fast and ready… they do! Got me in and out almost less than an hour. Thank you Chris, Mark and Dean at the AGA on Peter’s Creek in Roanoke, VA! This was my first ever windshield replacement experience. I will be picking this location for my future replacements (knock on wood). Thank you guys sooo much again! A great way to start my weekend.
