The young lady at the counter super professional, this is no reflection on her, but the staff is horrible, bought a car with no wiper blades issues but a crack in the windshield, in which that was replaced. Leave and now my blades are flying off the windshield not to mention when installation was done my Viper alarm didn't work, I mentioned it to them and they said you never had one. Really, the guy was kind enough to look at it again and realized that they did unplug it and then he fixed it. Oh and not to mention they charged my card twice, in which I had to dispute that with my bank. Went today to check out blades and they tell me this is common issue on my car and the blades were already broken prior to me bringing it to them.... I know my car sir. ::: There are better outfits for windshield replacement in Newport News ::: I have had several jobs done by Danny's in the past, side mirrors and windshields. The jobs were performed in a satisfactory manner -the replacement windshields looked good, and never leaked. The most recent windshield job (2002 kia spectra) was done on schedule, but it was very apparent that the windshield had been replaced; wiper trim parts were missing, and some windshield trim parts didn't fit well. When asked about the missing pieces, they agreed to replace the items, then did so with (what seemed to be) some stuff left around their shop. To their credit, the windshield never leaked (it has been years since the job was performed), but the appearance of the job never sat well with me. The place was clean . The customer service was great. The glass technician understood my need and the lady at the front desk did an excellent job for me and making me feel welcomed there. I called yesterday the 15th and got an appointment at 2pm. I called back today the 16th of june 2023 and asked if I could come in them if they had my glass in since they had to order it. She said yes but the glass technicians are at lunch until 1pm. I got there 12.34pm and checked on with her. We conversed and laughed about eye issues and my vehicle was done before the storm came and wet up my interior thanks to her and the glass technicians. I would recommend this shop

Danny's Glass is the best! Outstanding customer service and excellent workmanship. I've had car windshields installed by other companies but none come close to Danny's. Never will go to any other shop but Danny's after my wonderful recent experience. I asked if I could drop my car off in the morning although my appointment was in the afternoon. Danny's not only only told me it would be no problem - they actually did the install in record time that morning with all resets done perfectly. Had my windshield replaced somewhere else. Came here to just have my retainers and moldings put in for my Ford Focus St which I know is an easy task because I’ve done it before but doing myself isn’t professional and I wanted them sealed in properly and they tried saying they had to remove my windshield to install them. I am currently now sitting at safelite watching them install them and my windshield doesn’t have to be removed to install them. I will never come here if they don’t even know the simple task of replacing retainers and moldings. Lord knows what they would do with a windshield. Be safe everyone.

I have spent around two grand with this business over the last six months. Called in for a windshield on a personal vehicle and as soon as I mentioned, how much higher the price was then when I replaced glass on my work vehicles the office girl completely changed her attitude. She needs to either stay home when she’s having a bad day or be retrained on providing excellent customer service. Called another local company, had a more reasonable price for the glass and had the appointment booked for install within five minutes. And with no attitude.

I highly recommend this location. Took my car there for leak in sun roof. Previously went to one stop on Warwick Blvd and i had to take the car back twice for drains to be unclogged. Jordan at Danny’s glass was excellent. He was great at explaining what he needed to do to find the leak. He called me to tell me that the drains were severely clogged and no charge. It amazes me how one stop was supposed to do that three times. I will definitely be using this location for the duration. Excellent customer service and Hanna is great also.

Fast service and quality service. Got front windshield replaced and back sliding glass window replaced. 500 dollar deductible for each glass. Last time I got same front windshield replaced and had it done at safelight and was charged 1000 bucks even though my deductible was 500 bucks. Don't know if it was safelight or progressive insurance that screwed me on that claim. But I was told I was approved 500 deductible. This didn't happen at Danny's glass . Happy with outcome at Danny's glass. Both windows fixed in less than 3 hours.

Addendum: update Nov 2019-still happy with their products, prices, and customer service. Small office, not a big business feel. Just simple and to the point. Will continue to return as needed. July 2016- Very efficient and friendly staff. Extremely reasonable prices. If your product is in stock (I had a full windshield replacement) they provide quick service. Waiting room has a couch and a couple chairs, comfortable temps on this hot day, and a clean restroom. Will definitely return should I need this type of repair again.

Had scheduled an appointment to have my cars windshield replaced after my hood popped up on the freeway, damaging the hood and the windshield, but my work schedule did not allow me to make it to the business b/f closing. They came to me for no extra cost and fixed my car in the parking lot, and managed to fix the hood too, saving me a couple hundred bucks. Very pleasant company to work with and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for auto glass work in the future.
