Discount Mobile Glass is an outstanding company to do business with. I had a warranty issue (windshield seal) and insurance claim (windshield chip). After getting the warranty and insurance claims handled, I called Mike (owner of Discount Mobile Glass) on a Friday afternoon and explained the situation. He had me in that Monday morning and the truck ready to go shortly after lunch. The OEM windshield was perfectly installed (and the inspection sticker too). They determined the adhesive on the windshield seal was defective, which caused the water leak warranty issue I was dealing with. Mike was great to work with...good communication, friendly staff, and top-notch work. Both the dealership and insurance company recommended Discount Mobile Glass and gave the business outstanding reviews. In addition, the company receives excellent customer reviews online (I checked this out before I called). I'll only submit a positive customer review for a company that does exceptional work...Discount Mobile Glass did just that!. After talking with Mike, I learned this was a family business that his father started in the 1980's. Mike, his sons and staff do an outstanding job...this a great business and I highly recommend them.

Was 6 AM and raining cats and dogs in Manassas VA. Finally had everything and everyone loaded and was heading down to VCU to drop my daughter off for her freshman year. I had put the car in drive and was in the driveway with my foot on the break and my cell phone in my hand and I was putting in the address for the navigation. My foot slowly came off the break and the car rolled backed up into our garage. I had my motorcycle attached to a motorcycle mount on the back of my vehicle, since my wife and I were going out of town after we dropped my daughter off. The impact caused the handlebars of a motorcycle to smash out the rear window. Didn’t have time to mess around because we had to be at VCU at 8 AM. So we did what we could with a tarp and headed down to VCU. After we drop my daughter off we were heading to North Carolina and not going back home for over a week. Discount Mobile Glass got us out of our pickle. They were able to replace the rear window the same day and then it only took them 45 minutes! They did an excellent installation job. Very pleased. Had a wonderful experience with Mike Baldwin and his team! We were able to get the windshield replaced on my wife's 2021 Acura RDX just 1 day after the damaged occurred on I-295. The process was easy, I was able to stay in touch with them via text message while at work, dropped off and picked up the vehicle after hours. They also were able to work with our insurance company, Traveler's, so we only paid a $50.00 deductible. The RDX has all kinds of cool features like adaptive cruise, forward collision warning and emergency breaking. Well all of these systems needed to be recalibrated when the windshield is replaced and DMG was able to do that too. This was way better than anything I've experienced with Safelite, who will make you wait weeks for something like this. Plus the closest Safelite shop you have to take your car to for them to perform the replacement and recalibration is not as convenient as DMG's location. I would give 10 out of 5 if I could. Discount Mobile Glass really saved us. We had an long-standing appointment with Safelite that was cancelled day of service. Unfortunately, we had the car inspection and a family trip lined up directly after. Discount Mobile Glass was able to find us a windshield and replace it the same day. They understood our timelines and worked diligently to help us. The windshield looked beautiful and we were ready for our inspection and to safely & legally go on our trip. We are very grateful for their customer care & excellent work. They will have our business going forward. Highly recommend!

Called yesterday and they said be there at 8am and they could repair windshield with no wait. I showed up at 8 sharp and they took my car immediately and had it repaired in less than half hour. Good, fair prices too. << edited>> a few months after getting a small crack repaired, the windshield split one morning, all the way across. The sealing should have prevented this but didn’t. I called to see if they would refund and was told ‘no’. No biggie, thought i would ask. Then i asked if they would at least apply that $65 towards the purchase/install of a new windshield. Again they said no. I went to someone else and got it done for almost $100 less than their quote. So if you have a small crack, do yourself a favor and just call Safelite. Reduced from 5 to 3 stars. This place does PERFECT work! My pampered Super Crew F-150’s windshield cracked Thursday morning (by pampered I mean ‘Show Room’ type pampered). I checked two Ford dealerships and both said they 'used' (AKA recommended) Discount Mobil Glass in Mechanicsville, VA. I needed perfection… so I went directly to the shop, met with owner Mr. Mike Baldwin and then made an appointment for the following morning. Well at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning I was a very happy customer. The windshield was placed perfectly... I was particularly impressed with the flawless replacement of the Virginia State Inspection sticker and the Factory UAW Local 600 sticker. Everything was absolutely perfect. Perfect! I must also mention the initiative of the owner, Mr. Baldwin. It was clear from the start that he wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied.

Huge fan of this company!! Two months ago I caught a pebble in my windshield. Everyone else had appointment times weeks in the future or simply wouldn’t pick up the phone. These guys were able to fit me in the next day and were even able to come out to my work for a quick follow up. I like their drop off and pick up system because you can do everything on your own schedule and not miss work. This morning my window got smashed (ugh) but I reached out right away and they got it done the same day. Window is good as new. This makes the second time they have rescued me. Let me put it this way: I hope I don’t need auto glass services again, but if I do, I know exactly where to come! Thank you!!

Had a great experience with this company! Called in the afternoon and got an appt for the next morning at 8 am. They told me it would take around and hour and a half for a windshield replacement and I was out in under an hour! I had my almost two year old with me so that was wonderful for them to be so quick! Everyone I talked with was so nice and helpful, as well as very informative when it came down to which windshield would be the best for my car. Even offered to move my EZpass to a different location if it wasn’t exactly where I had it before. I would highly recommend this company (also coming from someone who lives 40 mins away and could have gone somewhere closer!)

DMG just installed the 3rd new windshield I’m my wife’s car. She does a lot of hwy driving and takes quite a few rocks to the windshield. They are always fast & convenient. I called them yesterday and they were here at 8 am and done by 9. They have also replaced the sunroof in here car and put glass doors on our shower. They can meet all your glass needs. They price match and do a great job. We have never encountered any issues with them. Andrew was our tech today and he was professional and proficient.

I had an excellent experience with DMG. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, fast, and efficient. I called at 8 am for a future appointment assuming it would be scheduled for a day or so out, but instead they were able to fit me in on the same day, which was extremely convenient. The service was top-notch! My windshield looks great and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this business for anyone needing windshield repair or replacement!
