Empire Auto Glass

So I had an appointment with Empire this morning at 11:15, my car wasn't tended to until almost near 12:00 but I had an amazing experience with this place! The receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming. I got lost a few times on my way looking for there location and she stayed on the phone with me until I finally arrived. There prices are extremely reasonable. After the process was done I was given a complete explanation and overview of what was done and the precautions I should take for my windshield. I was even given additional resources and recommendations to get some dents pulled out of my car. The only frustrating thing was the wait time when I had a scheduled appointment, but do to facility, staff, and the work that was done they definitely deserved 5 stars! I would highly recommend this place! :)

A small pebble hit my windshield and left a huge crack in the glass. I started calling around to get an estimate on how much it would be to replace my whole windshield and Empire Auto Glass had the best price. I called about 7 other places in the Fairfax area. I came in and Sean noticed right away that I had a sensor on my windshield and he didn't have the right one in stock and asked me if I wanted to wait and stay for him to pick up the correct one from the Maryland or if I could come back in the next morning. I chose to come in the next morning and get it fixed. Sean fixed it quickly (only took 40-45 minutes) to get my whole windshield replaced and it looks PERFECT! It's been a whole week now since I've gotten it fixed and everything is in tact. Definitely recommend coming here!

After the crack on my windshield started to spread I started calling around to get estimates on the cost and then a friend recommended Empire Auto Glass. I called them and was able to schedule an appointment immediately. The price was extremely reasonable, the customer service and staff was amazing and super friendly, and the service and work itself was done really well! When I had called to provide the information for my car, I had accidentally given them the wrong year and they had ordered the wrong windshield because of that. Without hesitation they quickly ordered the correct windshield for my car and offered to replace it the next day. Excellent customer service! I’d recommend this place to anyone. Also, I have to mention... because there are two different auto shops in the same area (street), I ended up going to the wrong location. This other shop was “Best Auto Glass” and when I arrived for my appointment, they took me in pretending to be that company. They asked me to fill out some paperwork while they took my keys and quickly started to work on my car. Minutes later I received a call from the other shop saying I hadn’t arrived for my appointment, I said I was sitting in their shop and they told me I was at the wrong shop. I quickly asked for my keys back and took my car and left from there. The fact that these people lied and pretended to be another company is wrong on so many levels and I wanted to point that out in case something similar happens to someone because Empire Auto Glass (the shop I went to) provides great service.

Empire put the Wrong glass in my Mazda CX-5 vehicle! He gave me a hard time about getting my refund for the wrong window! I could not put my hands on my receipt at the moment, but they had me in their system and remembered me! I had to go elsewhere to get the correct window installed! Empire claimed they couldn't find my receipt in their system! When I gave them my Name however, The rude and unprofessional guy, remembered the service that they gave me! Even remembered how long ago the installation was performed by their store! $250 wasted! The window did not roll up on track and was constantly going off of track! He told me my window sensor in the door had been hit so the window would not stay on track which was a complete Lie! I had to go to another shop! They put in the correct window and no off track problems! I trusted their word at Empire Auto Glass (VA.Loc.) that it was the sensor! I was ready to repair the sensor, but it just so happened that I had another glass company look at the off-track window and they told me that it's not the sensor! It just has the wrong window installed in it from Empire Auto Glass! I have Not heard back from them yet! I will be contacting The FBI & Better Business bureau! Also file in court papers! Woke up to a broken into car and had a stressful morning figuring out insurance deductibles and other costs of stolen items. Empire Auto Glass was friendly and prompt with an estimate, stating a competitive price and same day appointment window so I would not have to drive around with a bag over my car door. I had originally called their Maryland location, however, they did not have my vehicle glass in stock and suggested an appointment in their Fairfax location. The office is located at the end of Juniper St. Upon entering the office building, turn directly to the right, and down 2 steps. There are plenty of shops and businesses within walking distance from their office so I was able to get work done in a nearby coffee shop while waiting for my car to be repaired. All of the employees and team members I spoke with were professional and friendly and, when I arrived for my appointment, had already printed out the estimate, including filed the information I provided on the phone. After 1.5hrs, I received a call my repair was completed and I was able to pick up my car. All of the broken glass had been cleaned up and the window was spotless. I would recommend Empire Auto Glass.

I’d give it less than a one star if I could. I got my windshield replaced from here on June 17th and didn’t realize they replaced my windshield with a damaged one. There’s a large scratch/crack on the bottom left of the windshield and this is something that was created by driving because I did not used the car for about 2 weeks therefore it had to be there well beforehand. If I were you I would find a better auto glass shop to go to, it might be a little bit more expensive but it’d be worth better quality and service. Update: a person from the company who I assume was the manager of the location I went to contacted and threatened to sue me over a bad review so that goes to show you what kind of company they are. Again save yourself the hassle and choose a different auto glass company. Update 1/31: The owner is now saying they came out to check my windshield after my complaint which never happened to my knowledge and I was never even contacted about them coming out to look at it.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

Fantastic experience! Lous goes above and beyond! I got a quote from Empire for a windshield replacement. I was happy to find out that Empire had a better price than Safelight and other auto glass places in the area. I set up an appointment for today while I was working. I got a call from the Technician Lous telling me that he and another technician were in the parking lot of my work and that I could “take my time” and “not rush”. That immediately made me feel at ease. I met with Lous and the other technician and Lous throughly explained what needed to happen and the process. I was on the clock at work and he was great about accommodating me. I left the car with the technicians and within 30 minutes they gave me a call that they were finished! I met them at my car and Lous did a fantastic job explaining to me in detail how to care for my windshield in the first 48 hours. I would absolutely recommend Empire to everyone. I appreciated Lous and the other technician SO much. 10/10 thank you guys!

I'm late on my review as they serviced me over the summer, but I felt like sharing. I had just underwent surgery and had to renew my registration, state inspection, and emissions. I knew I would not pass with a cracked windshield and was stressing the amount of money I was going to spend for everything. These guys were affordable, came fast, were super professional and explained everything as it was being done, and were done quickly too! They remembered to give me specific and detailed (easy to understand and remember) instructions on what to do or not do in the first 24hrs of my new glass. The price and efficiency were the best part! I definitely recommend! Also, it's hard to get good customer service from the whole team when dealing with companies--I received great treatment from the person I first spoke to ....to the technicians.

Had a terrible experience with Safelite 2 days before shipping my vehicle overseas. Made an appointment 2 weeks ago and dropped off. The part they had was “broken.” This left me with less than 24 hours to get my windshield replaced or could not ship vehicle. I asked Safelite if they had any available in the DC area and they said they didnt which I find hard to believe for such a large company (2020 Honda Odyssey). I called Empire Glass and they bent over backwards to work with me. I got my windshield replaced first thing the next morning and huge stress relief. The team was courteous, quick, and professional. Empire Auto was quick, inexpensive, and accommodating to get my passenger window fixed. I sent a message late at night and they called to schedule a time the next morning. I told them I would be out of town the next day so they were wonderful enough to rearrange multiple appointments to squeeze me in. A hurricane was coming through that weekend and my car was parked outside so this alleviated alot of worry for me. They came over and the process was very smooth. The one small complaint I have is that the window would open back up when I tried to close it all the way. This was easily fixed after a few minutes of searching on Google for how to reset the window. I would definitely use Empire Glass again if I need a car window fixed.
