I'm sure that safelites windshields are of great quality, etc. However, I write this poor review upon the experience I had with their employees briefly. I recently moved to the north east, with a car needing a handful of fix ups prior to inspection. One of which, a windshield. I drove an hour and a half to this safelite in hopes of the great warranty, etc and turned down quotes of local places to me. When I arrived I handed off keys and decided to wait next door to get food while work was done. Within 20 minutes I received a call that my car would not start and they tried to jump it and nothing will happen. Obviously I ran over, to realize they were hooked up to my fuse box under the hood rather than my battery in the trunk (standard for my GM saturn Ion.) I told them this and they just said, "oh"; I understood the mistake because of my own discovery when I bought the car and I figured out the same thing. We switched to the battery and nothing would happen. I had full lights, etc but no turn over. My cars system said power steering was out amongst other issues. I was stranded. They asked if I was local or had someone to help and I said no, I am new here and I came a lengthy drive to here and I have no one, but I'd guess I'd try to contact someone. They said okay, good luck and that was it. No offer to come inside on a freezing evening, no references of local help, nothing- and they were gone. I was shaken, not sure what to do, I have sprint service form my prior state which is not supported in the area and it was difficult to call my 3 contacts I had in new hampshire. If it were not for the car rental place next door , I would have spent and entire evening in my car till the morning. The gracious employees of enterprise saw me fiddling with the car and lent me their landlines, and a place to wait; I reached a recommended local tow company for help. They came out to figure out I had an electrical issue due to the cold and when safelite jumped my fuse box, it blew my power steering, abs and one of my other fuses. They replaced them for 8 dollars and after 3 cold hours in to the dark, I was able to make my way back home thanks to them. Needless to say when the small electrical issue was figured out, I took my business for a windshield elsewhere, willing to pay extra money for a group of people a bit more helpful and kind. I understand safelite couldn't have possibly helped with my electrical issue but it was the men working there that I was disappointed with. I am glad the people next door at enterprise made me realize that there are still kind people out there willing to help in little ways to keep you safe and feel comfortable. I'm sorry for this review, but I feel reassured taking my business elsewhere.

I wasted two Saturdays trying to get my windshield properly replaced and recalibrated. I dropped my car of for a 1pm appointment that was supposed to take 2-3 hours. At 3:30 the car had not been taken in. I made a plan with the service team to do the work, lock my keys in the gas tank and I would pick the car up in the morning because I couldn't get back to the shop again before they closed. At 6pm I got a call that they were unable/didn't know how to recalibrate the safety features of my Subaru Forester (cruise control, lane departure, etc) and I would get a call Monday from Safelite to make another appointment. I picked my car up Sunday, and not only was the work not done, but my keys were hanging out of the unlocked gas cap. Anyone could have driven away with my car. I waited most of the day Monday to get a call from Safelite to reschedule the calibration. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to a human being on any Safelite number. I ultimately didn't hear back until Tuesday morning, after spending over an hour chatting with several customer service representatives and escalating my situation late Monday afternoon. So I spent a second Saturday waiting to get my windshield recalibrated... but they threw in a set of wiper blades for my trouble. Start to finish this was a mess of a situation, with inadequate customer service.

This Safelite team was excellent and my new windshield was installed quickly while no detail was overlooked! Absolutely recommend Safelite 100 percent. Greg scheduled the mobile installation in a timely manner with attention to every detail. Adam was the technician who installed the windshield and I can’t thank him enough! He was professional, friendly, and informative. He demonstrated a high level of skill and the installation was quick and thorough! Adam vacuumed the interior removing every shard of glass from the interior console, upholstery, and floor of my vehicle. Adam was extremely professional and didn’t miss a single detail! He even cleaned the windshield post installation! I sincerely couldn’t believe how professional, skilled, thorough, and quick the coordinator and technician worked. I highly recommend Safelite!!! I’m immensely grateful to this specific team and I was very thankful they had my windshield installed at my location roadside within an hour and I was able to proceed with my journey..

I have had bad experiences with this Safelite location. Today I had an appointment with a different location, which is great; unlike this office. My appointment was scheduled for 3pm at my preferred location, which was running late, and I received a phone call from this office stating that I should reschedule for tomorrow to have my windshield repair done and sounded as if I should use one of their techs rather than keep the services I had scheduled with the Safelite location that I prefer. The tech was literally less than 5 minutes late, so 304pm. So can I ask, why the manager called me to tell me they would be 330 or later today??? Unreal is what I have to say! And I do not recommend this office for any services with having them replace my windshield a few months ago. My car still has mud in the speaker located on my dash along with a stain too. No thanks!NegativePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield repair

I scheduled an appointment and prepaid for a replacement windshield without insurance. I was given a 4-Hour window for when my technician may arrive. I was called 15 minutes before the end of the 4-Hour time window, to let me know that my technician would not be coming. They then asked me to come to Barre, 45 minutes away!!! I would have scheduled it at that location if I was able to do that! Why would I waste my entire afternoon after you wasted my morning? You are a business, I am the consumer. I took off work for this appointment. Safelite should have replaced my technician instead of calling me, literally, last minute. I would be more than happy to update this negative review, if and when Safelite responds appropriately. Waste of my time, energy, and money.

Referred here by my insurance company for windshield replacement. Historically I have used Portland Glass. Overall, good experience. Safelite recommended that I replace my windshield wiper blades, which I agreed to and it was added to my bill. However shortly after departing, I realized my blades had not been changed. I would have been happy with a refund but Safelite made it right by sending a technician to my home to install them. Easy booking, next day appointment and friendly staff. I have to give 4 stars because of the error and some slightly off color/sexist jokes made by the technician which I didn't feel were entirely professional.

After two failed attempts at having safelite install my cracked windshield I decided to have it taken care of by another company. After canceling the last appointment that the tech never showed up for and having the appointment rescheduled with no notice to me I have been inundated with the, "sorry we missed you. Did you still want us to fix your windshield?" Auto emails. Tonight after not even going by a safelite facility, I'm getting the, "how was your experience?" Suggestion message from Google. My experience sucked. Seeing as even after unsubscribing from the emails, I'm still being asked my opinion. So there you have it.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever had with a vehicle. Scheduled a windshield replacement and dropped off the car to receive a call hours later that the replacement was broken and they were unable to complete the job. Would have had to wait more than a week for another opening. I do not like writing reviews online but the worker on the phone was rude enough to warrant this. Would give 0 stars if it were an option. Will not work with them againServicesAuto windshield replacement

Booking an appointment online was very easy, and for my 20-year old Subaru Forester was very reasonably priced. At the appointed window for the mobile tech to arrive they called and said the mobile tech would be unavailable due to illness. But the desk support was able to set me up with an in-shop appointment the very next day. They were kind in the shop, and the technician gave me a detailed summary of the work at completion.
