If I could give zero stars, I would. I setup a mobile appointment for 8am-12pm. I did not receive a text or a notification they might be late. At 11pm I started calling the local number. That number rerouted to the national agents. They told me to be patient and they must be running late. I called back every 30 min and the agents tried to call the local office for me to see what was wrong. The 4th agent gave me their special number to contact the local shop and to go to the shop if they don't answer. I called the local shop 10 times with no answer. I drove down to the shop and asked why I did not receive a text or call now that they were over 2 hours late. I was told the mobile tech assigned to me called in and was unable to work. I asked how many other clients were not contacted. They did not know. I asked if there were other mobile techs out working today and if they could help. He said yes they were working but they could not help me. I asked if my glass was in their shop. He said even if it were they would not work me in as they had other scheduled appointments. I said mine was a 8am and surely the others would understand if they were running late. They expected that of me without even notifying me. The person at the counter could only offer rescheduling and giving me free wipers I don't really need. I planned my entire day around this appointment. 6 hours wasted. No accommodations (except free wipers). I don't fault the person at the shop desk, but I do fault the process that doesn't accommodate a customer in my situation. I'm still upset I wasn't contacted. The shop knew before 8am that my tech wasn't coming in and I didn't find out until I drove to the shop 6 hours later. Terrible customer service. I will be going somewhere else next time I need a windshield replacement. UPDATE: They did service my vehicle a couple of days later and did a good and quick job. The technician was cheerful and represented the shop well. I'm changing this to 4 stars, but man they need a better process to handle when a mobile technician calls in unable to work.

Got 2 rock chips repaired on the 20th. Covered by my insurance so everything was great. They sent me multiple texts asking for a review and boy am I glad I waited because they did NOT do a quality job. Both chips were still visible when I left that appointment so I questioned it. The tech tells me - Don't worry. It's normal for them to be visible but I assure you they are stable AND they are under warranty so you don't have to worry. I even have a text message from them that reads "Here are a few reminders: Remember your chips, or cracks will still be visible, but rest assured your repair is properly sealed" and refers again to the warranty. 9 days later -- normal road driving and boom...the "properly sealed" chip turns into a crack. Call them the next day and they said okay we'll refund your insurance company their money, but now we'll need $500 dollars from you to replace the windshield. So I guess the warranty only protects their partner who sent me to them and not the customer at all. I asked them what about the warranty and they said Oh well you were told at your appointment that it COULD crack. To which I said Absolutely not - in fact I was told the complete opposite. Their only response was well it can. So how is that a warranty? Next time I'll go somewhere else who isn't in bed with my insurance company so they will ACTUALLY repair the chip and not just pretend to so a week later there is a crack that I have to pay for. Go literally ANYWHERE else.NegativeQuality

They stole my windshield and left my car undriveable. The insurance sent these guys out for a windshield replacement. Once the windshield was off, the tech found a 1" x 1" spot of rust, informed me that Safelite will not install over rust and refused to go any further. I showed him that the rust was totally surface rust (it came off in literally 10 seconds with a wire brush). But he called his manager and she said that she had seen the pictures he sent to her and would not let him install it. I said, "fine, then put my old windshield back on," to which I was told that they could not because of the "moldings". The manager (who was on the tech's speaker phone) told me to have it towed to a body shop to have the rust fixed (at my expense of course), then ordered the tech to pack up and leave. They literally vandalized my car and left it undriveable. I was absolutely dumbfounded. And here's the kicker: Safelite installed the previous windshield. Which means that they either installed it over that rust-spot before without an issue, or they were the ones who did not seal it properly so it could rust. Unbelievably terrible customer service. This is tantamount to a carpenter coming to your house to install a new front door, removing the old one, finding a problem beneath and saying, "sucks to be you," and leaving with no front door on your house! I have no words!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

This was our second windshield replacement by this office and in both cases they didn't get the moulding around the windshield properly sealed, causing issues. The most recent time I even commented to the installer to pay careful attention to this issue. A week later most of the moulding across the top of the windshield was coming off. We scheduled an appointment to have it fixed and they never showed up. We scheduled another appointment and they finally fixed it...for now. In the future I will choose another glass replacement company as their service is clearly substandard.

First day we drop off the car at 9am they call us at 2 to say they can't do it because they have the wrong glass. OK, whatever. Bring it in a second time at 845 am they close at 5, no phone call by 440 so we go in, not done yet, you'd think they'd prioritize it after the first or at least call to let us know to come in at 6. Now sitting in the store since 5 and it's 6 and still not done... poor communication, way too long of service. Over 2 days having our car and still not fixed one windshield. Communication could have at least got 3 stars but there was none.

I drive a BMW X5 with a lot of technology in forward facing cameras/radar. We’ve had issues in previous years with other windshield replacement companies screwing up the installation/calibration, making those systems redundant until fixed, which cost several thousand dollars and additional time at the dealer. This location detailed their process upfront in how they handle cars with this type of technology, giving us confidence they could do a good job and they delivered. Highly recommend.

I brought my car in to have the rear view mirror fixed after it had gotten loose from them initially replacing my windshield. I dropped my car off at 10 am. I didn't hear anything from Saflite. No status updates and no call telling me the car is done. I attempted to call them many times around 2 pm and nobody answered. I finally just borrowed a car and headed over there for them to tell me my car has been done for hours. Some communication would have been great.

The ease of scheduling a mobile appointment online was awesome. The techs contacted me ahead of time to let me know when they would arrive (which was within the time frame I requested). The techs were very friendly and professional. I was a bit nervous about getting an after market windshield but it is just as good as the OEM windshield that was replaced. I would absolutely recommend Safelite to anyone looking to have their windshield replaced.

Marl the manager and Sydney the technician were great to work with. Marl, especially, was so helpful in explaining to me the details of calibrating my windshield, the warranty, etc. Both were very friendly. The waiting area was very clean. My windshield was installed in the promised time with updates on my phone. I could not be happier! I would definitely recommend the Sandy location of Safelite AutoGlass!

When I called about my windshield the lady tried upcharging me for all sorts of things like windshield wipers, protective liquid from rain, etc… that I did not ask for nor did she talk to me about it. Not only that but they were 30 minutes late to the appointment. The only good thing I can say is my technician Riley was super nice and did a great job. Other than that super shitty service!
