Building an overland rig I’ve learned a few things. 1) don’t cheap out. If you have expensive hobby and your life depends on things like windshields, suspension, tires or other critical systems get the best you can 2) find good local businesses who are pleasant to work and converse with, have a strong work ethic and will tell you if they feel an option or service isn’t worth it to you (see point one) 3) I’ve been to enough shops I can trust them, and not have to micromanage their work, or worse have to have it fixed after it was done wrong. That’s why Rock Doc has now earned a customer for life. Seeing them recently at the Salt Lake Offroad expo show, I swung by their booth to learn about “exoshield” and what it does and how it works. Ray the owner was there and we hit it off and I went along my way. Fast forward about two weeks and I decided to get my previous windshield protection refreshed. Ray went out of his way to schedule me on a Sunday, walk me through their process, and answer literally every question I had. I dropped my truck off as planned and when they fell behind schedu Ray, the owner called me, let me know of complications I wasn’t even aware of, how they were going to approach correcting it. When it turned out it was time for a new windshield they handled all the paperwork, and when my insurance coverage was different, worked with me to make sure I understood the why of every aspect. They could have laid down the Exoshield product and sent me on my way never telling me about the issues but they didn’t. They even saved me a few bucks by giving me a ride to my house (20 minutes away) instead of an Uber. Service, quality parts, honest explanations and a killer shop are all reasons why I gave them five stars, and they have now earned a customer for life for all my vehicle glass needs. I cannot let my amazing experience go without a review! Let me say, if you are looking to have your vehicle window(s) (including sunroofs) replaced or repaired, Ray and team have you covered! They not only have the BEST customer service, but the best quality of service, the best pricing, and will have you questioning why you’ve gone with any other vehicle repair company in the past! One evening I was driving on I15, and my truck’s sunroof completely shattered. Glass blew everywhere in the track and the internal sunroof compartment area. To make matters worse I was about to head out of town the next morning on a full blown off road camping trip, so I figured I would message around to a few places and submit quote inquiries to see if anything could be done ASAP. After sending Roc Doc Auto Glass a text (after hours) I went to submit my quote inquiry and before I could even finish it, Ray (again after hours) gave me a call! He not only provided me with a transparent game plan, but ensured my off road camping trip wouldn’t have to be canceled or postponed because he and his team have a temporary fix called crash wrap. I was doubtful it would be a reliable fix at first but let me tell you when he said it would keep out the elements, he meant it! Think of it like the most durable, sticky plastic wrap like material meant to protect and keep out the elements. It not only kept out the red rock dust of southern Utah for 5 days but it kept out all the rain from the rain/wind storms that I experienced towards the end of the trip and on the 4 hour trip back home traveling 80+ mph on those open road highways. When I returned, they had my sunroof part in and were able to get me in for the full service. If you want the job done RIGHT go to them. They were extremely precise and ensured all the glass was removed one piece at a time, installed the new glass, and luckily didn’t have to change out the entire motor and track. I can’t thank Ray and team enough! Like I said, don’t waste your time with any other place. Roc Doc Auto Glass is worth the experience, quality of service, and elevated customer service! Choose them! I'm not super happy with my visit I showed up and dropped my vehicle off wanting to get 4 rock chips repaired when I returned all 4 Rock chips were repaired like I wanted my problem with this visit is they also tried to fix a rock chip that I was not aware of and had never seen on my vehicle they decided to do this all on their own they failed at fixing this rock chip that they were not asked to fix instead I now have a 3-inch crack in my windshield that I did not have before when picking my car up they gladly accepted the money for the rock chips that were repaired and did not offer me any type of compensation for the damage that they had caused on my window this might just be a one-off experience because of their glittering Google reviews but it is an experience I'm not willing to risk my money on again harming my property and not offering to do something to make it right is pretty low in my opinion

I highly recommend these guys and will definitely call them when I need a new windshield. Tony was very respectful and helpful and I would hire him if I had a job for him! He was very professional talking with my insurance company and he was cool with me plus he did a fantastic job and I like the follow up call from the owner to make sure I was happy! That star is going nowhere now Rock Doc Auto Glass repaired the chip and stopped the runner! Well now my windshield needed to be replaced so of course I called these guys and this time Tim came out to my house to replace my windshield so that was very handy! I felt bad he was out there working in the heat but he was very cool about it and once again I’m super happy with this company so take Tim out for lunch now Ray!

I had a cracked windshield on my Ford Bronco Sport and reached out to Rock Doc for help. From the start, Ray and his team were incredibly helpful and worked with me to come up with an affordable solution—even with the special features on my windshield. Had a great experience here! Happened to be in SLC and had a broken windshield. I checked with them for pricing which was comparable to others, but their customer service was outstanding, so a booked an appointment. They were able to get me right in and did a great job! They have small snacks, cold water, a TV, and a clean restroom! While I was there I discovered they fabricated tools especially designed for installing windshields on RVs, so I would recommend them if you need windshields on large equipment, RVs, your truck, or you car. Also, after I got my windshield replaced, I found out they do free rock chip repairs on my new windshield, which is a cool perk.

Ray was great and was able to quickly repair my rock chip. He informed me there was a 50% chance he could repair it with how much it had spread, but he was wiling to try and repair it and save me from paying for a new windshield. He was able to get it repaired. He also informed me when I originally called to find out how much it would cost to repair it, that I could get it repaired for free through my insurance. The receptionist and other staff I talked with there while getting it repaired were all super friendly and great people to talk with. I will definitely come back here for anymore rock chip repairs or windshield replacements.

Fast and friendly service! Called them the day our windshield needed replaced and within 3 business days, Ray had us scheduled, parts ordered and windshield replaced. Communication on their end was excellent from day one! Ray and team go above and beyond for their customers to ensure every want and need is met. So I just want to shout out to Rock Doc Auto Glass. I have known this family for quite a while and last week my truck got broken into. I contacted Ray Saturday morning and He rushed one of his employees out to pick up my window before it closed and he had Mateo install it that same day. I was completely impressed and thrilled how quickly he got it done. I was also impressed of how good of a job Mateo did install installing it.
