I highly recommend this great location! I had called one day and spoke with Zack, the shop owner, about a quote for a windshield replacement for a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. He gave me an estimate of about $170, and he also mentioned that they have the windshield available so they would be able to fix it that day. Other places I had called gave me quotes between $250 - $500, so they really have an unbeatable price! I chose to schedule an appointment the next day because I had to work late the day I called. When I arrived, I met with Zack and Kerry, the office attendant. They are genuinely friendly and very courteous, not to mention their outstanding service! The shop was not busy, so the mechanics pulled my car in within minutes of my arrival and began working. The service took about 45 minutes, but it did not seem that long because I was having an enjoyable conversation with both Zack and Kerry. Once the service was complete, I paid the exact amount that Zack had quoted me (plus taxes of course). There were no tricks like hidden fees or extra charges for labor or materials. This is definitely a place I would go to again for its reputable and friendly business. Zack is truly an honest, hard-working individual who, along with his remarkable employees, provides a top-notch service and an excellent experience.

Came in on a Friday morning to have Zac assess if they could hand cut ceramic tint on my 53 year old car that had never been tinted. Left the car that morning and it was delivered by the end of day as promised. Looks and works fantastic! Cut down the heat tremendously. I also made an appointment a couple of weeks ago to have the side glass and windshield replaced ony Nissan pickup. I told them I would have to wait. It was done sooner than the promised 2 hours and was perfect. These guys take pride in their work and honesty. Thanks for a great job! Update: I'm really picky about my El Camino. I noticed some minor flaws in the tint and took it back. They re-tinted 2 windows with no argument. There is nothing like going to a small business and being taken care of by the owner. No corporate BS, no go to the website. These guys are honest and customer service is important to them. I shopped around the Clear Lake area for the best deal on Windshield replacement. After receiving a handful of overpriced quotes, I called Clear Lake Auto Glass and spoke with Zack regarding pricing. The total price for windshield replacement and molding turned out to be $100 less than the next competing quote. With pricing this good you can't help but be somewhat skeptical about the quality of work this place may bring. The building itself may appear dated however, don't let that deter you from a fantastic deal. Zack opened the shop at 8:30 AM and immediately took in my vehicle for servicing. They have a small lounge area with a TV, vending machine, and public restroom. 9:26 AM came around and sure enough the car was ready for the taking. The windshield was properly sealed and they even transferred my stickers over with no issue. Throughout this whole process Zack and his team were professional and knowledgeable about the job at hand. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, this is your place!

Wow this place continues to amaze me. I called Zack up after not having spoken with him for at least two years since the last time I got my windshield fixed and just told him my name and where I was from and he was able to remember and greeted me like an old friend. I brought my vehicle up to his shop though he would have gladly come out to my place but I was anxious to get it fixed. I actually had two vehicles that I had him replace the windshields on. Both of them were done in a quick efficiently manner. Even with all the other customers that he was grieving and working with he had time to talk to me. It was awesome even with all the other customers that he was greeting and working with he had time to talk to me. It was awesome to be welcomed is a friend even after such a long time. I have had many windshields replaced over the last 20 years by them and every experience has been a good one.

The guys that work in the shop go entirely too fast and leave work undone. They were done with replacing my back glass within a hours time. And that included me moving my toolbox out of the way for them to get to my glass. It makes me wonder how well they installed my window. I know that they did a poor job at vacuuming my truck out. I had it spotless before I arrived to make sure that they would see my truck was clean and it should remain that way or better when they were finished. Also he offered to tint my window for 100 bucks. I declined and when I got my truck back the window installed already had medium tint... I feel i got a good deal but only because I had to clean my own truck and decline the window tint. Needless to say it's been a week since done and it is still holding up so that's why I give 4 stars.

This place is great. Great communication let me know beforehand how much exactly it was going to be and their price beats everywhere around town by 200 to 300 bucks. The man I talked to his name was Zack. Very sweet man he understood I was paying outta pocket and let me keep my vehicle there for a few days after it was already done so I could gather the money. Honestly I was surprised it was done so quickly!! I highly recommend this place if you want a fair price and good people working on your vehicles. Also they take any insurance I just so happen to not be able to get coverage from my insurance for different reasons. Anyways come here for quality work! I had my windshield replaced on my Ford Explorer and the service and price was outstanding!! The quality of work was very good and when I had questions they addressed every single one of them. So the customer service was excellent. So, about 1 month ago I had to return because I had to replace the windshield trim due to debris in road damaging it. I initially started at the dealership, which wanted to charge me 670.00 dollars and it would take a full day. Well I remembered Clear Lake Auto asking about the windshield trim when I had gotten the windshield initially replaced. I contacted them, they replaced the trim for 95.00 and it took 20 minutes....the trim is still on and working fine.. and I am not out of 600 dollars nor did I loose a whole day. These guys are great!!!

Very reasonable prices for complete windshield replacement. Houston freeways are notorious for creating rock chips that spider into cracks in no time in this heat. I replaced my husband's windshield on his car as well as mine almost 3 years ago with them. They were $250 each (a Honda Accord and a Nissan Rogue), which was a great price. My husband no longer has the Honda and needed an estimate for his current car (a Lincoln Towncar). They quoted the new windshield which includes installation at $275, still reasonable pricing after 3 years. Staff is just as friendly and helpful as they were 3 years ago. These guys are wonderful! The receptionist was so kind and helpful. And the owner was amazing. They did a great job on replacing my windshield. I had used a place recommended by my insurance agent before and just was not pleased with the way the work was done. The owner took me back and showed me where the other place had not put primer under the seal so there was rust where moisture had accumulated. They sanded it down for me, put primer on, and did the job right. I highly recommend this place for you auto glass repair needs.
