I originally went to Ramirez for their low prices, even calling ahead of time to order the windshield and make the process smoother. When we got there the lady was nice at first but once we paid she ignored questions that were asked, even a request to see the car before paying. We decided to pay and continue with our day - once I got home my father pointed out two scratches above the fender. One was a perfectly straight line next to a rounder chip of the paint. The straight scratch lined up perfect with the tape that held the glass in place. Upon further inspection, It was also missing the clip that holds the molding in place. So I called Ramirez and was told to bring the car in the next morning, instead of missing work I decided to take the vehicle in within an hour of getting the car back. I walked into the office where I mentioned I had just called about the missing clip. The owner "Rafael" is called and walks up to me, visually upset, so I calmly started to explain my situation and asked him if he could take a look at the scratch to see if it had been caused during installation. He right away exclaimed "NO! LET ME SHOW YOU THE TOOLS!" and walked away, I basically had to chase him down for him to hear me out. I was thrown off by his aggression but decided to calmly handle the situation. Once he brought out the tools, he looks at the damage and claims a "rock" did it. That's when I got frustrated and informed him it was a brand new car and that the service provided was not adequate, also mentioning that when having paid earlier, the receptionist had been rude. Immediately, the receptionist comes out pointing fingers and yelling "WHAT DID HE SAY?!" That's when more of the employees came outside in an intimidating manner including the receptionist who started exclaiming for me to "be a man", further instigating the situation. So I walked away to de-escalate the situation, upon my return the owner was a lot calmer but still did not want to take responsibility. At this point I just wanted to have the clip replaced and go home, so he fumbled through several clips and made me feel extremely uncomfortable until finally finding the correct one. Although Ramirez does offer decent prices, I would definitely recommend researching other places if you are looking to have any services done on your vehicle. Had I read the prior reviews, I would have definitely have chosen a different place. Don't make the same mistake I made.

The dealership we purchased paid Ramirez auto glass to put on a new windshield. Our salesman told us to be at the dealership at 9:30am to have the windshield replaced. It was 11am and we were still waiting! The salesman called the company who stated they were on their way, our salesman recommended having them come to our home. It was a mix up on the lady who scheduled he stated. We received a call when driving off the lot. The lady stated she had an availability at 12:30. We made plans to be available. 1:00pm comes along and no one showed up. I call and this woman was rude! She said they don't make appointments and they'll get there when they arrive which is between 9-5. The men arrived thirty minutes later, looking miserable and the windshield has a scratch on it. It was free and we do not want to deal with this company.

My daughter and I took her suv in back in March and I would call them to let them know that there was air coming in to where my daughter would not drive it during it would rain . All she would tell me was “ give it time to settle in “. So on 10/6 I told my daughter enough is enough so we went back and spot to the lady up front and all she told us was with out a receipt she couldn’t help us , well my daughter had it and the look on her face ,I thought she was going to throw us out . Well Almost 5 hours later we are waiting on the parking lot and we see her suv being parked . And we didn’t get a call to a 2 hour later . . When my daughter called and asked what was the status on her SUV she reply with “ did anyone call you , did you see how many cars we got parked outside when you get the call your car is ready . So when we walked in she asked my daughter can I help you and my daughter told her I am here for my car which she replied I haven’t called you, So I walked out went to the technician that took the car out and asked him this car ready ? I said the lady inside said that it wasn’t ready and he man she knows it’s ready I’m sorry about that . so never again for Ramirez glassServicesAuto windshield replacement

I had read previous poor reviews but as they came recommended by a family member I gave them a shot. The guys came out to my house and replaced a windshield. I was very concerned with saving what I could of the old windshield as the car is a bit of a classic. They were friendly and understanding of my paranoia, and explained what they were doing to me the whole time, how with care the windshield can come out in tact, and how to care for my new windshield after they were done. They took care when removing and installing the windshield, insuring both the vehicle frame and the new windshield were clean for proper adhesion. The process didn't take very long and they cleaned up after themselves once they were done. These were really nice guys and I enjoyed watching them work. My new windshield hasn't exhibited any leaks but given what I saw, I don't think it should. The only negative I can say was that the guys somehow had the wrong address and telephone for me so they were 30 minutes late. They seem really busy as they also do work for local body shops so I was surprised not to see more reviews. I might not have written a review except knowing they had recent bad reviews, I figured I should share my experience.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place left my car in shambles. We dropped off my car, and when we came to pick it up my windshield was fixed but there was glass all over my interior as well as dirt/sand. In addition, a huge crack on my rear view mirror!! My registration sticker was gone. Lastly, I go to graduate school and payed for parking pass and they threw it away!! We went inside to ask about these items and how this can get fixed and what happened to my parking pass. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY SO RUDE. They basically said they could not do anything about it. That’s why they have a sign about the registration sticker. My boyfriend asked if he needed to remove it prior to us dropping it off and they said no it was complementary with the service. However, not the case. Registration sticker was poorly taken off so it ripped of course. The lady had to ask 5 different people about my parking pass and she “dug” it out of the trash can. They said they weren’t going to do a thing about the mirror. Short story: DO NOT GO HERE

Was excited to get windshield replaced so economically. Was told I could be here at 9am and out by 9:30 another reason to use them. Was told windshield is in stock, another reason to use them. Well, when I arrived the person who told me to come in early denied making that statement. I came in early on my day off because of what was told to me to expect. Second glass was at the warehouse not on the premises. Glass arrived at 11am. The office needs sprucing up. It was cold (no heater in customer area). Sat there for 2 1/2 hours. The front driveway is terrible, crumbling and poor looking. For the sake of their customers one would think they care enough to make place appear more pleasing and amenable to customers. Don’t want to use run down but it has seen better days. They need to be more forthright with customers before they show up. BEST THING ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS THE GREAT PRICE. Need to weigh if I will recommend this business.

I got my whole windshield replaced here with Ramirez auto glass and the quality on their glass is very cheap . I barely got it replaced 2 weeks ago and I already have a hairline crack starting from the bottom of the seal going upward. I called them and the woman who answered the phone answered saying “yeah!” Just like that. I had to ask if I was calling the business number for Ramirez auto glass. She was so rude and unprofessional telling me that I’m responsible for that crack . They only warranty air noise and water leaks. For as much as we paid them this type of glass should last a long time. At least longer than 2 weeks. I just came out of the store and there it was , a fine line crack . As if the sun could have done that. Windshields are meant to withstand a lot more than just the heat. It doesn’t show any sign of foul play/ damage. I believe they should at least try and fix than crack it has before it gets any worse

Two days ago a little kid was throwing rocks and busted my back window. After calling insurance, police etc. A competitor was going to charge me $370 plus they wanted me to drop off my car and leave it overnight. Um, no thank you. We bought our car from Ancira and asked them who they recommended and they said Ramirez Glass. Called them up and it was only $190 and they came to me! The gentleman were amazing and very professional. They cleaned all the broken glass, even vacuumed out the inside of the hatch because they didn’t even want there to be little pieces rattling. Then they vacuumed out all the glass from the interior, even though we told them they didn’t have to. They said they never want to leave a job half finished and leaving that glass there for us to clean wasn’t their style. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed their glass redone. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful job they did.

I should have read reviews before bringing my car here. I called before I brought it in and gave them details of my car to get a price. They gave me $220 over the phone. I got in and they told me $425 because there would be calibration of sensors involved. They should have told me that over the phone. They then were able to change the price down to $350 when I argued with them that they had already given one price over the phone. The fact that they could so easily change the price makes me feel like they’re gouging customers. They also didn’t call me when my car was ready and never answered their phone when I called back. Their office staff was fine but a little bit gruff. Now, a few days later, my car is making strange noises and my lane assist won’t turn off. Honestly at this point I’d rather get it fixed elsewhere. I don’t trust this company to do it right. Buyer beware.

Poor quality work, will say anything to get business and somehow Lone Star Dodge recommends them. They should reevaluate this business. Took my to have my window replaced due to crack was replaced and had wind noise. Called the business and the women who answered state it was normal and what I heard was the tap. Well it rained and tap came off still wind noise. Took it back to have it redone and used water to find the gap(typical) but used so much that it leaked into the electrical system and shorted out a fuse. Fix it by blowing it off with a air hose. Stated it was all finished so finally we drive off and notice fingerprints everywhere. Total lack of regard for my vehicles interior. Wind noise was still there. Nothing fixed. Just throw tons of sealant on there huh? Ramirez Auto Glass? Never again
