Mom and pop owned shop that deals with insurance claims and private work. Cost was still cheaper than going through dealer and same windshield was installed with the inspection + registration stickers left in tact. The service was fast; you pay up front and drive around the back to one of two bays where questionable characters work on your vehicle. You walk back up front and wait until the car is brought around. The work was done well - I now have a new windshield. But, the workers left a bunch of foot prints on the door sill and the matts (the car was just detailed). The polyurethane used to hold the glass to the body was blotted on the driver side and left a big protruding (and dried) blob. Will have to cut that out with a blade after the 2-3 day period has passed. The car seats and floor matts were not vacuumed after the work was complete. So I found pieces of glass (I assume the windshield broke during work) and lots of rubber and old adhesive on the mats. The rear view mirror was (in my opinion) put back slightly to the left rather than right in the middle as it came from the factory. Not an annoyance or a problem; just mentioning what work was done. Ok service but don't expect tidy or courteous work.

This couple is so very kind! Give years ago, the gentleman actually came out to our house to replace a broken windshield. He charged $175 and he quick and very polite. I ran across the receipt that I kept. The name of the business was Wholesale Auto Glass. The name now is Discount Auto Glass. The address is the same and so is the phone number. The seal had been broken on our truck. Since we had decided to eat at Chapman’s Fried Chicken on WW white Rd., we just drove to their location. The gentleman told us he could do the work while we waited. It was a very hot afternoon. We waited inside and his wife offered us some water. She told us that that they had been there for 27 years! After finishing the job, he told my husband that there would be no charge! I really wanted to pay him something but he insisted that he has just removed the old seal and resealed it. We are very grateful for their kindness. They both had to help me up and down the stairs into the office. They even carried my walker in and out. I highly recommend this lovely couple and their business!

I really wanted to love this place. The older gentleman, Kent, I believe was name, very sweet and helpful. I got my replacement window done and left. Shortly down the road I got out at the store and walked around to see how the outside looked. Found a huge dent on the side of my car that was not there when I pulled in. I called and was told he would talk to his guys. When I called back to find out what happened, I was told they said it was already there and that his guys wouldn't lie to him. I'm dishearted. One because now I have more damage to my car than before, second this poor guy is being lied to by his staff and he obviously thinks the world of them and wants to do right them, but they just took full advantage and I'm the one that gets the short end of the stick. Moral, do NOT leave without doing a full walk around your vehicle. Sad no one is trustworthy anymore. I wish he would have at least checked his cameras to see if there was anyway to prove, that my vehicle was not damaged previously. That would only make him liable, so guess I'm just SOL. :-(

***FYI - The warranty is only 3 months*** My experience: 1. The replacement was $50 more expensive than the original telephone quote (but I had nothing in writing and couldn’t argue it). 2. Actual time to replace was longer than quoted time and they don’t have a good waiting area. 3. My windshield had audible air leak, especially loud over 50mph. I called 3 days later. They insisted I wait a week. A week later, they were very reluctantly to repair it. Claiming it’s normal and will go away. They did agree to repair it but what a hassle to have to argue for it and then go here twice and wait for repairs. What a pain in the neck! 4. The front office lady that claims to be the owner… She is RUDE! Simple google search shows someone else as the owner. Maybe the real owner will see these reviews and take these complaints seriously.

Took my husbands truck in to repair windshield when we got it back all the wires from the top were all hanging they told us they had to remove them from the head visor to repace windshield but did not not give me a chance to tell them no they just left all wires hanging. And then tried to tell me i need to fix it. Poor service and poor work it sad to cause i have been coming jer for my last 3 cars. Will not do business with them ever i would beware of what u are paying for. Now i have to pay double what they charged me to get tje wiring it reinstalled ... Took a conversion van belonging to Paws Ranch Rescue & Animal Sanctuary in about 5 years ago. Had driver side windshield replaced. The gasket rotted out and the glass came loose. Took it in to see if they would repair it and the lady in the office told me they don't work on conversion vans I told her I brought the van here before and I have a problem with your work. I asked her to check her files because I couldn't locate the receipt. She said they don't keep files and sent me away. I am at Flores auto glass now and they told me the primer that was used was the wrong primer and the leakage around the window caused rusting. Went to get my dads windshield done on his pride and joy the other day. Glass windshield was put in and they took off the pillar covers didn't put them back on correctly went to have them fix it and say how the plastics warped and old man brings out a worker and the one that I know didn't do the work and he starts acting like he was the one who did the work n agreed with his boss saying it's warped.. I've been driving this car for the past year n have tooken care of this car like a baby and I know my car and to tell me something I know wasn't like before.. Just sad I guess my veteran dad has to dump more money into something they could've simply fixed... They used glue to try and fix it what a shame.

I was needing to get an estimate on my windshield. Online their hours show they are open until 6 during the week. I drove there after work and got there exactly at 5:30. I walk inside and the lights were off. No one was to be seen. I walk back out and I see a gentleman locking the gate. I said excuse me, and he says we closed at 4:30. I asked him. What are your hours, online it shows 6pm. He completely, I mean completely ignored me and continued to lock the gate. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional. I'm from Houston tx. So not knowing San Antonio I asked around and they recomended me Discount Auto Glass. The window regulator went bad and the window stayed open so I couldn't lock the car. It needed immediate repair so I Google the address brought at noon on Saturday and by 3 in the afternoon it got completely repaired in three hours. At a great price and with the minimum parts required, at a super cheap price.
