My name is Levy Barnes. I am a Real Estate and Mortgage Broker in Houston Tx. I own a 2023 BMW i7. It's a beautiful car and I love driving it. While driving on the freeway, a large 18 wheeler's tires kicked up a couple of rocks which put 2 large cracks in my windshield. The cracks initially started as small cracks and then they spread accross the windshild. I searched google for a windshield repair company and found, Blue Diamond. I spoke with a gentlemen whose name was John on the phone. I was concerned that very few windshield repair companies would have a replacement windshield for my car because although it was 2 years old, many companies didn't have BMW i7 parts. After providing John with a few details about my vehicle, he advised that he had 1 BMW i7 windshield in his shop. I drove over to their shop and was advised it would take a couple hours to complete the new windshield installation especially because of the technology in my car, the windshield had to be recalibrated. Instead of waiting in their shop, they offerred me a ride to my home or office while the work was being performed. After 2 1/2 hours they called me and advised that the repair was completed. One of their staff picked me up at my office and transported me back to their shop to pick up my car. They did a fantastic job on my car making it look like nothing ever happended to it. I want to think John, and his staff, Alex and George for their hard work and effiency. My Insurance company took care of most of the cost and I paid my deductible. My car was broken into last night at the gym and initially I was going to go with Safelite to repair my rear passenger window but the fee was extremely high! No issues with camera calibration or FSD. There was some black marks left from the installation, but once I notified the owner he came out with towels and a dissolver chemical to clean the area. The black spots cleaned off instantly, no permanent damage. While it wasn’t the cleanest job, in my case, the fact that the owner came out instantly to fix the issue is top tier.
