All Clear Auto Glass DFW

We will never know the true quality of All Clear Auto Glass' work because we could never get past its insanely poor customer service and communication. We called on a Wednesday and the guy (I don't know if we ever got a name, he just answered the phone "All Clear Auto Glass" the phone number you see rang straight to someone on a cell phone) said that he couldn't get to us until the next day (Thursday), quoting a price of $80 to do a house-call replacement of a car door window. As the photo of the text conversation shows, once it got about an hour past the time he agreed to show up we called him - he did not call us - and said he was "stuck in traffic" and had to reschedule to the next day. You have no idea how irking this is. We juggled schedules and tap-danced around having someone at the house for this. But, we needed the window fixed and doubted we could find anyone else inside of 24 hours. And then ... once again, WE instigated the conversation, they did not contact us to inform us of anything; we reached out first to make sure they were coming, and as the text clearly shows ... the person from All Clear Auto Glass DFW says "Sorry for the misunderstanding" and they'd be here TOMORROW. There was never a "misunderstanding", just complete incompetence. We got our car window fixed somewhere else. Just for our own amusement, we were going to wait until the tech showed up on Saturday around 1:00, as they stated, and then we were going to inform them that there "was a misunderstanding" and we didn't need their services anymore. I guess you could say they got the last laugh after all - they never showed up or called one way or another. I have no honest idea how they stay in business. Save your time and trouble and find someone else.

As important and essential to have ones car in good condition, including accessories like windshield, HVAC for cars, tires, paint detailing etc goes a long ways. Needed one windshield repair and front chip repair. Come across All Clear Auto glass DFW website on google. David, was prompt, honest, fast and really knows his craft and knows the importance of maintenance and proper care for a vehicle. Very knowledgeable in cars! Price is reasonable, affordable and cheap service was fast and expert advise. My experience was great, and I don’t know about the other reviews, sometimes replacement new parts are out of stock especially post Covid for many businesses and industries, and one has to understand the reality. Got a rock (more likely something metal) chip in my windshield on the freeway yesterday evening. Contacted All Clear Glass DFW this morning and spoke to David. He asked me to text him a pic of the chip, which I did, and he promptly quoted me for a repair and offered to come to my house to fix it (he says he's been doing mobile repairs due to Covid). He arrived on time with mask on (I appreciated this as it's always weird asking someone to wear a mask). Service was complete in less than half an hour. What was a pretty gnarly crack in the class is now significantly diminished (none of these types of repairs are completely invisible). I did not get my windshield replaced with this company however I did reach out to them and the amount of time that it took them to respond was ridiculous and when they did they said I should replace my windshield for a little chip. I took my car to safe flight and they said they could fix it no problem and at no cost to me. Be ware of this company, seems like aren’t any good because if it takes you forever to respond and you haven’t got my money yet, how long do you think it will take them to respond after they already got your money and you have an issue. On top of that they trying to over sale a brand new windshield when that is not what is needed. No good if you ask me.

Corresponded with the company via email several days prior to make an appointment for windshield replacement. 35 minutes after scheduled appointment time, with no communication from the business, I called and was sent to voicemail. I immediately get a text from David who asks me if I booked an appointment. After going back and forth by text, I get a string of excuses that made absolutely zero sense. After all that, he offered to reschedule me for the afternoon or the next day. Had a rock chip my windshield and contacted David for an estimate. Quickly got back with me at an estimate half of what the big box windshield places quoted me. Told me he would travel to where I was (he’s been working mobile due to covid) and was on time and wearing a mask. He’s extremely polite, works fast, and is professional. He found 2 other chips and fixed them all for the original quoted price. I would recommend him to anyone needing windshield repair! My passenger side window stopped working and had fallen into the door panel. I called All Clear Auto Glass and spoke to David. I explained the issue and he immediately told me the problem as well as the solution. I scheduled an appointment and he arrived at my home early. He was professional and knowledgeable and he had awesome customer service. He fixed the window regulator in under an hour and I hope if you need any window service that you patronize this business. Made an appointment on Tuesday for Thursday morning. Thursday morning during my appointment time I get a call that my windshield is on back order and wouldn't arrive until Saturday. Unacceptable!! Said there was nothing they could do and it was the distribution center fault. Poor effort to provide good customer service to assure they meet the appointment time that they set me up with. Called CRYSTAL CLEARVIEW GLASS and they drove to the distribution center to assure I got my windshield replaced the same day. Now that's how you provide costumer service for future referrals.

These guys came to my house in a timely manner and replaced the drivers side front window of my tahoe. Someone had shot it out with an air rifle. There was glass everywhere. Even down in the window and lock control buttons. When they left all the broken glass was cleaned up. I had a new window. They even cleaned all the little pieces out of the controls. It was quick service and super convenient. But best of all, they beat the prices of the first 10 businesses I called. By a lot. I will recommend them to anyone that might need that type of service in the future.

Usually not one to write reviews but David was fantastic. He was very responsive and answered every question quickly. He was by far the best valued price of all of the bids I received and he came to my work to do the job. He did a great job replacing my window and then added tint back to the window, that was also a great value. He did such a great job that my coworkers even put him to work.
