AJ windshield repair & replacement

Technician showed up to my address on time. However the repair of the chip was not that great. The technician used an old drill bit to make the hole in order to fill with resin. In the process he scratched the area around the chip and using a handheld drill like a power tool and not the recommended drill. It made the surface of the chip worse. I definitely would not recommend to use this service for chip repair as my experience was not great at all. Many other places charge about the same rate. I went with this option due to the 4th of July weekend and worried that if I hit a bump or the heat would make the chip worse. Unfortunately this was a bad choice. The work that was performed is horrible. The chip was smaller as opposed to how it looks now with the scratches and having the drill grind against the windshield. Driving to cali and someone threw a rock at us Saturday evening about 2 hours away from El-Paso making a chip and a big ass crack. Was looking for somewhere to go and everywhere was either closing or closed on Sundays which would’ve ruined our trip plans. Called up Aj’s and he agreed to come out to the hotel in El-Paso we were going to stay at to look at and hopefully repair it Sunday at noon. He came out like he said and looked it; for $85 he was able to fix it without needing to replace the whole windshield despite it growing overnight. So far its held up and really grateful he was able to come out on Sunday. Definitely recommend!

Jesse seemed nice and gave me a great quote. He told me a date but not a time or an address (since he mentioned he was working out of his home garage). I texted him two days before for a time and he said we would have to reschedule for next Saturday because of inventory, so we rescheduled for next Saturday. I called him 2 days before and it went to Voicemail, he txtd me and asked me to txt him. Through txt I asked what time for Saturday and what the address was, I saw that he read it but didn't text me back. Five hours later I txtd him to cancel; he read it and never wrote back. Not sure what's up.

If you need your windshield cracks repaired, stop looking. This is your company! Because I don't live in the area, I needed a repair while I was in El Paso. They were able to squeeze me in and we met at a mutually acceptable location. They were fast, efficient and friendly. In a matter of minutes, they had both cracked fixed and I was on my way. They were very affordable and gave a cash discount for using Zelle. For those in Hudspeth and Culberson Counties, call them - they occasionally go East.

The phone conversation was very thorough and detailed. They even accommodate to your schedule. They communicated through text with me while I was working which helped so much. My passenger side window fell due to some broken plastic clips. AJ windshield repair was able to install the part while I was at work. The best part they were done in less than 15 min. Highly recommend can't go wrong with this place!!!!

After getting a crack repaired it continued to grow the following morning. When I asked for a refund, he said that doesn’t warrant any kind of refund. So I’m out of pocket $65 and with a bigger crack than before. Their “warranty” only applies if you get a windshield replacement from them… Buyer beware.
