I called Clearshield AutoGlass just after meeting an18 wheeler on a V downhill doing at least 90 mph, the force of the wind coming at me blew the hood latch completely out of my car and the hood flew back and completely shattered my windshield. Clearfield AutoGlass was the only business that would answer within 50 miles, I drove 42 miles at 20 mph to meet with them and get my windshield replaced. They were the only business that was open and ready to assist, they kept me updated and gave me great pricing as well as work with my insurance company. Andrew was OUTSTANDING!!! We are in town from San Antonio to visit our Son and his family, and a Jeep Wagoneer passed us in the right lane and threw a rock at our windshield (@$$hat!!!). It must have been rather big because it made a pretty bad star-looking mark right in the lower center part of our windshield, and both my wife and I figured that it would never survive the trip back to San Antonio. Andrew confirmed that it was indeed a pretty bad one and agreed that it probably would not have survived the trip back to San Antonio without spreading, but he was able to fix it without that happening. He said that he's been doing this for 12 years and only had one in all that time (last month) that spread on him while he was injecting the material into the cracks. The cool thing is that if it had spread farther while he was trying to make the repair, he would have deducted the cost of the repair ($75) from the price of installing a brand new windshield. I was extremely pleased with his service as well as his politeness and honesty, and in a few months when he expands his business over to New Braunfels I will DEFINITELY seek him out if I need any more chip repairs done or need a new windshield on a vehicle.

There is no doubt that Andrew is a hard worker and respects his customers. We had a hiccup, ordering the wrong wind shield for my car and it took some time to get the new one ordered and installed. Then, unfortunately, the camera didn't calibrate in my car and I ended up having to take it to the dealership. Dealership calibrated it, and Andrew wrote me a check for the amount the dealership charged. All-in-all it turned out to be a lot longer of an ordeal than I expected, but Andrew was honest and trustworthy and I would recommend him for future work. He does need to hire someone to manage his schedule and communicate on his behalf.

I have had 2 windshield chips in the last month and I can not say enough good things about this business. The first time a rock hit my windshield driving into town to eat and I called and was met in the restaurant parking lot quickly and the repair was fast and I can’t even see where the chip was. Today I called from work, a rock hit my windshield driving home yesterday, and when I called they came to my work and fixed the chip in the parking lot. Both times it was Ryan who was the technician, he is very nice and did a great job both times!!!

I called around a few places to get the best price and even though they were not the cheapest I am happy I chose Clearshields. They were still on the cheaper end of replacing my windshield and I love that he was in communication with me the whole time when I had scheduling issues. They came to me and was done within a hour. Andrew was very professional and prompt about my situation. He handled it with both quality and speed. He drove an hour and fifteen minutes to come to me. He's commutation in keeping in touch was above and beyond. He gave me peace of mind that we were going to beat the rain coming and get my rear window replaced in time. In a mix of unfortunate events over the last couple of weeks i was rescheduled multiple times and had ultimately decided to look elsewhere for a windshield. However, Andrew(owner) got a hold of me and explained that there had been lack of communication and unfinished jobs on the accord of his employee. He himself then replaced my windshield free of charge and in a very timely mannor. Because of this i will certainly be using Andrew amd clearshields for any auto glass needs in the future.

Andrew is a very personable and kindperson. He communicates very well and works wonders in the dark. The only issue I had was with the scheduling and Andrew not remembering what we talked about prior to getting me on the books. I understand he probably talks to a lot of people and conversations tend to "run" together. But if he can figure out how to keep up with which customer said what and when. I need to replace windshield. I started calling around. Several companies had answering machines. I spoke to two that couldn’t get to me for at least a week week and a half. One company wanted me to come to San Angelo. I found Andrew Gonzales owner of Clearshield. I got to me immediately at my home. The price was great. This is my go to guy from now on.
