Baker Auto Glass Repair

Great shop! Had to replace cracked windshield. Searched for highest rated auto glass near me in Google maps. Submitted claim to insurance and they gave me a list to select from and Baker was #4. Claim submitted then Baker called me the next morning, setup a same day appointment and I had a new windshield within several hours. Very quick and easy. Also gave me a 19oz can of Baker Auto glass cleaner! Great little shop…I highly recommend! I never got to see the sweet beard on the can, but they still get 5 stars.

Scheduled an appointment and gave the lady my VIN number as well as let her know the make, model and which window needed replaced. After arriving and sitting for an hour, I was told they couldn’t replace my glass because I told them the wrong model car (mind you I gave the lady my VIN,). I quickly corrected her and she ran the VIN in front of me and it came back as EXACTLY what I originally told her.She then said the company sent them the wrong glass, and I was told they could not get a replacement glass that day but would let me know as soon as they could get the correct glass. It’s been two weeks and still no call back.. The gentlemen there was kind, apologetic, and crash wrapped my busted window, however, the woman working was more than willing to place blame on the customer and the vendor rather than admit she ordered the wrong glass in the first place. Very poor customer service. On another note, thanks to Safelite for coming to my home, replacing the glass and charging less than the local company.

My truck passenger side window was recently smashed out because apparently someone wanted my bookbag more than me, so after getting other quotes that were nearly double the price at Baker, and these other places wanted to charge extra fees to come to my location, I found and got a quote from Baker and chose them for the work. Baker came all the way to Waxhaw from Rock Hill, the next day after I called them, and the price as mentioned above was almost half of the other quotes. The lady on the phone was friendly, the technician called when he was on his way and was also friendly, and they even vacuumed the rest of the glass out of my front seat that I hadn't got to yet, and yes, even left a free can of glass cleaner. Although I hope I never have to use them again (car break-ins are zero fun), I'll be a Baker customer and "recommender" for life any time I need windows or windshields taken care of. Thanks again for the great work and great price.

They replaced the glass on my rear hatch. After 3 appointments and hours of my time driving back and forth to their shop I was left with a car still full of glass, defrosters that do not work and a hatch that no longer locks. Not very satisfied with the work to the point that I would be scared to bring my vehicle back to give them a chance to fix what they broke. After road debris smashed my windshield, I called three glass repair places in the Rock Hill area before I found one that could come out to where my car was to fix it the same day.Wade Baker took the information, called my insurance and hooked the agent into the call, and sent out a technician later that day. It took about an hour. I have no idea what they charged as the bill will go to my insurance. They do business as Baker Auto Glass Repair.

Ben working with these guys like crazy to get my truck in tip top shape they did a bunch of engine work for me like a lot they did really good on that but it was definitely not cheap like12,000$ worth!! but the follow up was a little bit slow im having some little minor issues here and there afterwards and they've agreed to fix them but takeing a little longer than I would like but all around definitely recommend to anyone!!

My husband and I found Baker's through our insurance company when we needed our windshield replaced and they've been great to us. They came out and replaced the windshield very quickly and great customer service. We had an issue with the cowl panel (frequent issue for our car type) and Wade Baker himself came out to fix the issue. He took great care of us. Very trustworthy and I would absolutely recommend them!

My husband's back truck glass got attacked by a stray rock due to a weed trimmer incident. So he called around for glass for his 93 Chevy truck and it was difficult for most places to get. Well not this place, they got him in the following day and the price was very reasonable compared to some other quotes. Also, you get a gift of Bakers spray glass cleaner! Highly recommend!
