I was scheduled for a mobile appointment between the hours of 1pm-6pm. Tyler (or Taylor) called me at 8:36 am and told me that he had 6 jobs today and he would get to me close to 6 pm. I was cool with that. I received an email around 11:03am as a reminder. I called Tyler (or Taylor) back from the phone number he called from earlier that day to ensure that our estimated time still was confirmed because I wanted to run out at get some lunch around 1pm. He assured me I had time. He then called at 5:45 pm to tell me he was not going to be able to make it today because of heat exhaustion. I said okay. Let's be clear, I am all for self-care, but the day seemed too calculated. When I called the Safelite rep through Progressive Insurance back to file a complaint, the rep from progressive told me that he finished only 4 jobs and did not see any report on the 5th or 6th ( which should have been my work order) . He would have had to travel 30- 45 minutes to get to me. Something in my spirit just does not sit well with the way this whole day panned out and I'm HIGHLY inconvenienced taking off of work and not getting anything done to my car. Now my car goes in the shop for another issue and I do not know when I will get it back to get the window fixed. Maybe the management can map out mobile orders a little more efficiently so that those being served from a distance will not get the short end of the work day. I hope my gut feeling is wrong- but the day just seemed too calculated. No hard feelings against Tyler (or Taylor). I hope he is alright. But please send someone different to fix my window.

During a windshield replacement, not only was the rearview mirror damaged but so was the screen on the radio display. brand new 2024 vehicle and i’ve been driving around like this patiently waiting for the manager to get my screen display fixed. i was told by on if the managers at safelite to get a quote from volkswagen which i’ve done. i’ve followed up on this and still no response. today while driving to work the rearview mirror fell down completely and now i have to take time off work to have volkswagen fix this issue. beyond disappointed and will not be using safelite again.

First i would like to say, My tech who installed the windshield was great. His name was James. Giving a 2 star because the representatives changed my quote price THREE times just to find out i had to spend an extra $15 when James came to my car because the representatives did not quote me for the right windshield as I asked for. The first representative quoted me $232 and never told me I had 5 days to call back for the SAME price. Then when i called back a week later for my appointment, i was quoted $245, said that was fine go ahead and book it. After she told me my appointment was booked i get an email notification saying my price went to $261…. I told her she told me $245 not $261 and she ended up “giving me a coupon” to make it the $245 again. Then when James had arrived, the blue tint across the windshield was an “extra $15” so then i went BACK UP to the $261. I don’t like companies who change the price more than once. If $232 is what you quoted me originally, the $232 is what i should of paid for my service. Overall James was a 5/5 , safelite in general and the representatives 2/5. Won’t be using safelite again.

I recently had my windshield replaced by Safelite AutoGlass on my 2020 Hybrid Camry, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. Since my car required a recalibration of the computer system in the windshield, I had to take it into their shop rather than opting for mobile service. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. The windshield replacement itself was flawless, and they handled the recalibration seamlessly, ensuring my vehicle’s advanced safety features were functioning properly before returning it to me. The turnaround time was quicker than expected, and they kept me informed on the progress being made on my windshield replacement via text messages, explaining everything clearly so I knew exactly what to was going on. Safelite AutoGlass made what could have been a stressful situation incredibly easy, and I truly appreciate their expertise and attention to detail. If you need windshield repair or replacement—especially with a vehicle that requires recalibration—I highly recommend Safelite AutoGlass. They deliver top-notch service with professionalism and care!

They used to be good. Last experience was terrible. Put in the online order... I put in specifically in the notes... This windshield needs replaced, can't be fixed. They of course sent out a guy in a car... "Oh, this can't be fixed, it needs replaced"... Makes me an apt for THREE WEEKS OUT..... ok, so three weeks out, we drop the car off, 35 minutes away at 8am. AS SOON AS WE GET HOME... "Oh, sorry, we need to order parts for this, we can't do this today"...... Why didn't you order parts 3 weeks ago? You literally had an employee put eyes on the car and make the follow up apt. A MONTH later they get the parts, and we do it again... They install it... Wife drives all the way home saying "the car is loud"... I get in and drive... it's VERY loud... I take a look... The trim is not attached on the top of the windshield so there's a ton of air noise... so have to go AGAIN to get that fixed. I will not bring any of my cars here again. UPDATE: The trim came loose for a second time and we had to bring the car up there for them to fix it.

Scratched paint in several areas while prying glass out, black urethane fingerprints prints on a 2800 dollar white headliner, same on all the white plastics, tore the headliner removing the camera. Brand new 64 thousand dollar minivan destroyed by someone who drives a beater. Going to dealer to be painted and repaired, insurance is going to forward bill to safelite along with a month of rental. Work states Austin performed the service currently working on paperwork to sue him personally for the difference in vehicle value. While complaining about it to the manager who is 260 pounds he sits on my door that’s open to look at it. Let me explain this, you never sit on the door it has brass bushing, he tried argue until he saw uniform unlike this place I am an oem certified technician. Avoid this place you will thank me later. There were 3 other customers there for damage to their vehicle as well.

I think this is the only one here but I would avoid at all cost if you have a newer vehicle. My spouse and I both cracked our windshields, 2025 ram and 2025 bmw. The ram took 3 appointments to be fixed and I’m currently sitting at my FOURTH appointment in less than 30 days for the BMW. I have two stars because some of the technicians are really nice (I’ve dealt with a few at this point) … the lady at the front is a little “Nice/nasty” but that’s neither here or there. And let’s not forget that each appointment is 2 to 3 hours and we’re stuck in this cramped up waiting room with no TV or snacks. I would make the appointment at the location and not let them come to out if you have a newer car because they will not have what they need to calibrate your car. This is a fact..

The technician (Frank) that came out to service my car was very professional polite, great mannerism, very neat and clean. He called before he came walk me thru what was gonna take place with repairing the window, he called when he got to my resident to let me know he was there and he called when he completed the work. He made sure I was aware of every step that he made to assure my car was working properly before he left. Although the weather was bad (raining) and he was under the carport he made me aware that some water intruded in while he was replacing the glass but he clean everything up and stated that if moisture was still there or if anything went wrong he would come back out and fix the problem. He was a 10 out of 10 excellent job.

I requested a van come to my home to replace the windshield. There were no extra cost, and the tech. text me to keep me up to date on when he would arrive. He arrived when he said he would and I gave him the keys and went back to reading. I don't know how long it took him because I was wrapped up in reading a book, but the doorbell rang and he was finished. He told me when I could remove the tape that was on there and when I could drive it. I checked it all out and thanked him and, he left without leaving any thing behind. I thought it was nice that he didn't ring the door bell with any news until he was ready to leave.

Awful experience! The customer service is absolutely horrendous. Yes they came and replaced my front and rear back window. Then the back window would not roll up when rolled down. I called the tech that day and he said he’d try and make it back for 2 days. I contacted customer service and they told me to either make a warranty appointment for a few weeks out or to drive 45 min away and wait to be seen with 2 kids 1 and 5 years old. Until then rain can potentially damage my cars interior. Their commercials are an absolute lie and false advertising and this particular shop is just a joke.
