Absolutely horrible experience. Scheduled safelite to come out and fix a crack in my windshield at the beginning of December 2023. During this appointment they were unable to fix the crack and stated that I needed the windshield to be Scheduled appointment on December 20th 2023. they quoted me one and a half hours to possibly 2 hrs. I waited in the lobby. Several customers came and went and my car was still being worked on. Approximately 3.5 hours into my waiting finally someone came out to talk to me told me that they were having issues recalibrating my car. Stated they would continue to try to recalibrate it by contacting a department out in Texas. I continued to wait. Someone came back out after the 4-Hour mark and told me that none of the safety features would work in my car but my car would still be okay to drive and I would just need to take it to the dealership to compete the recalibrating. I got in my car and nothing worked including my turn signals, power steering, rear view camera wouldn't turn off and every light on my dashboard was on. I drove the vehicle directly to the dealership and called my insurance agency. I told my insurance company what had happened and they connected me back to safelite location manager. Who in an email sent to me specifically stating that they would cover the cost of a rental car while they tried to figure out what was wrong with my car. It took over month for the dealership to make a diagnosis on my car and I ended up having a 3,200 car rental bill. even though I have it in writing that they would cover the cost until my car was diagnosed Safelite only covered $110 of that bill. During this time I was contacting my insurance company for assistance. my insurance company had Safelite contact me and I spoke with Wendy who had stated they would cover the cost of the rental and that the location manager should have connected me with their rental department to set me up with a rental. The location manager did not follow company procedure and left me to go acquire the rental myself which then they in turn did not cover. After Wendy had told me that Safelite was going to cover the rental they stopped responding to emails and phone calls. When I was able to get a hold of anyone in customer service they always told me that it was up to the location manager to pay for the rental. Remember they only covered $110 over 3,200 bill. This took over 3 months to get resolved. I would recommend going anywhere else but there.

Horrible experience! This was my first time using this service. I was recommended by my insurance company (Geico). I scheduled the replacement of my windshield between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. The technician (Blaze) called me around 8:45 am and told me he would arrive in about 25 minutes. He came at 9:16 am—no problem with the timing. I offered to move my car to give him more space, but he declined, saying the current spot was fine. I asked if I needed to move anything from the front passenger seat, but he said it was fine. Everything seemed fine, so I let him do his work. After about 90 minutes, he called to let me know the job was done, and I paid the fee. He briefly explained the warranty, then made an odd comment: "It's too early, man," and left in a hurry. His attitude wasn’t great, but I let it go. After he left, I checked the windshield and the inside of my car. The interior was a mess, and the windshield—I’m not sure if he glued it properly before placing the glass. My apartment is on the third floor, so I was able to see part of his work from there. I saw him about to place the windshield, but then he stopped, set it aside, and applied the glue. It seemed like he had forgotten to apply the glue before putting the windshield on. Seriously? I also saw him pushing and applying pressure to the windshield after placing it, which is completely fine. However, it is NOT OKAY that he stepped on my car and jumped on it to apply pressure to the windshield. I didn't realize he had stepped and jumped on my car at the time because his vehicle blocked part of my view. From my vantage point, I thought he was using a small ladder or some other tool until I checked inside my car and saw all of his footprints and handprints. This is RIDICULOUS! If it was too early for him and he didn’t want to do the job, he should have let someone else do it. That’s why there’s a time range of 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. No one forced or asked him to come early and make a mess in my car. I paid $250 (plus $110 from my insurance) to replace my windshield, NOT to have my car trashed! As of right now, I am concerned about the quality of the work and extremely disappointed with the service. I chose Safelite and their mobile service for convenience and quality, but this has been a major disappointment!

I had to take our vehicle in for a windshield replacement. The appointment process was a little frustrating, with not being able to speak to someone who worked at the location, but it worked itself out. There was an option for me to wait for it to get done or drop it off in the morning and pick it up at my convenience later that day. I chose to drop the vehicle off on the 27th, and it was done that day. It came out looking great, and the crash detection recalibration system was taken care of without any issues. I dropped the vehicle off while the store was closed, but Jason D. was there when I dropped the vehicle off, so I was able to speak to him about questions I had. He was so friendly and answered all of my questions without feeling like I was holding him up from leaving for the day or that I was being a nuisance. The process was so easy, and the glass looks great. The only thing is that my inspection stickers couldn't be placed on the new windshield, but that was something that was explained to me ahead of time, and it's due for inspection anyway. They kept the inspection stickers attached to the old glass and taped around the edges so I could place them in a visible spot until they're replaced. They did a great job, and I can't say how friendly and nice Jason was while speaking to me while he was technically closed for the day. They have a drop box for your keys and also have a lock box they put your key in for after business hour pickups. That was super convenient, but they just locked my key in the car as requested. I would highly recommend this location as the work and service were above and beyond!!

The team at Safelite did a great job replacing the windshield on my Jeep Gladiator. It was really easy to call, get a quote and book an appointment. I like that they give you the option of either having them come to you or you can go to the shop. I opted to go to the shop and I’m glad I did. Everything went very smoothly. When I arrived the guy that checked me in was very friendly and welcoming, he also answered all my questions. The appointment started on time and they had a nice little lounge area with WiFi so I could get some work done. Also, the store was very clean, which is always nice not to hangout in a dirty or unkept area while you wait. They estimated 2 hours but it only took 1 hour, which was nice. They were able to transfer my registration stickers as well as my car wash sticker too, so I didn’t have to go through the process of getting new ones. Highly recommend their shop!ServicesAuto windshield replacementPrice assessmentGreat price

The customer service I received and quality of work performed on my vehicle at this establishment was phenomenal! My SUV sustained an accidental rock to the driver’s window via weed trimmer on a Friday evening. I went online, read reviews, and proceeded to remedy my situation. On Saturday morning, I spoke to Robin. She went above and beyond to help me get my vehicle fixed that very day. She displayed a high level of knowledge and integrity. Robin introduced me to the assigned technician, Adam, whom exceeded the highest degree of expectation for quality workmanship. He was very knowledgeable and explained the repair process. Adam is a true professional that did an excellent job! I would, obviously, highly recommend Safelite Auto Glass! AndreaPositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

My daughter’s 2013 Chevy Volt got a spider crack in the windshield. We made an appointment at the house for the windshield to be replaced easily on line and within 4 days. Because the car is no longer made, the vendor that said they had the part fell through and they had to chase another replacement windshield down which pushed the appointment back. However, Safelite kept us informed the entire way until they could come out and replace it. Darian called the morning to narrow the arrival window. Then, he texted me when he was on his way. Darian fully explained what he was going to do, did it within an hour, and then reviewed all that he did once the job was completed. He was prompt, courteous, polite, and done in an hour or so.

We used Safelight since it was recommended by my USAA insurance. It was very easy to schedule it and set up a convenient time to have them come to my house to replace my windshield. Matt, the technician, contacted me a couple times to verify the time and even called me prior to arriving that morning since he was early. He was really efficient and replaced my windshield in no time and even shined up my windows. I would highly recommend Safelite since it’s a simple process. As a veteran, I appreciate it the coin magnet that Matt gave me in appreciation of my service. I would highly recommend Safelite.

Setup an appointment for a mobile tech for a replacement windshield on my vehicle. Received the work order # for the following day and the technician (STEVE) called me to inform me he was on his way to replace the glass at 2:24pm, said he would be at my location between 4-5:30. I said ok. 6:00 pm no call no show, called customer service and wouldn't you know it they are closed and not open on Sunday. So much for a reliable company, completely BS very unpredictable and unprofessional without informing your customer. I expect a phone call. ASAP

Pittsburgh storm was horrendous and a tree branch hit my windshield and smashed it but the tree then fell down missing the rest of my car. Without power for 5 days and trapped at home due to trees down blocking driveway. Safelite replaced my windshield and scheduling the time was Qick and easy. Due to the need to calibrate the system connected to the windshield I had to take the car to them. Of course unsure of when I would be able to leave the house, they were very accommodating and very professional!! Highly recommend their services!!

Only 2 stars. Lost one star due to no human and only AI when call their office. Loses 1 star because only in store glass repair no mobile glass repair offered like their competitors and like they advertise. Lost a third star as they delayed the job due to understaffing and inability to confirm glass coverage on insurance policy in a timely manner resulting in job delay. Otherwise job was completed as described so they received 2 stars.ServicesAuto windshield replacementPrice assessmentOverpriced
