Service was good but the replacement windshield cracked after only a couple months. (no signs of rock chips or road debris) I tried contacting safelite multiple times recently to get it warrantied. I get an answering service left messages and no call backs this is the 3rd week trying to get in touch with the company. I spoke to a technician at my place of employment verry knowledgeable about the warranty process but said I had to contact the office. The technicians are great the customer service is terrible so I can not give anything more than a 2 star review.

Had an appointment for a simple chip repair today. No one ever showed up. Never got a call or an update. Was very nice to waste my entire saturday afternoon waiting around for nothing. Now if it spreads over the weekend or dosen't fill properly becuase dirt gets in the chip I'll get to get a whole new windshield. Update Came out 3 days later with a different tech and got it done properly. i would give 5 stars if i was communicated about the no-show. I understand things happen.

Tech damaged my truck and installed the windshield wrong. Left with my keys and they had to track him down to get them back. Called and scheduled another tech to come out to take pics of damage and fix windshield for Monday. Monday comes and no tech, email or text. Called and automated system said I didn't have an appointment so got a live person and she said I still had an appointment. Ironically while on the phone I get her confirmation email that said different day than the 1st appointment. That tells me no ine made the 1st appointment. That's lie #1. So now it's raining and I have to go to their shop. That's ok I need it fixed. I show them all the damage and was told the manager would get in touch with me because he doesn't know how he's gonna deal with it. I can tell right then there is gonna be a problem. Manager never spoke with me in person when I was there. 24 hours later no call so I call and talk to the manager. 1st thing he says to me (with an attitude) is all that damage was caused by rocks. His tech didn't do any damage. He's not paying for rock damage. When I asked him to get the pre inspection pics up he said he doesn't have any. Funny thing, someone I know who works for Safelite pulled up the work order and said the pics of the damage I have is not in the pre inspection pics. So the tech is at fault. So that's lie #2. Now an argument ensued on the phone. Warranty department tells us that NOTHING was wrong with the windshield installation (molding was rippled, metal clips could be seen from the outside and a lot of popping noise from windshield). So while sitting at the shop I was told by 1 tech "the windshield is out". Then I saw another tech go to a van and take out the same windshield and bring it in the garage ( my truck was only vehicle there). Also on 2nd receipt it shows the work that was done including replacement window. Big surprise. Lie #3 Then I am told I should apologize to the manager for the way I treated him. Are you kidding me!?!?! I'm supposed to be calm when my truck was damaged (I'm aggravated now) I had to wait 6 days to get it fixed because 1st appointment was never scheduled(even more aggravating), I was talked to rudely (now I'm ticked off), I was lied to, I was accused if lying about damage even with the pics and another Safelite employee saying tech did damage. On top of this they destroyed the inspection sticker. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. Horrible experience and I hope I never need another windshield again.

The guy who came was very professional and did his job right, however what Safelite calls a windshield repair is unacceptable. I had a crack that was two inches in length so they said they would repair the windshield, instead of replace it. However, they told me the repair wouldn’t conceal the crack, just make it from getting worse. They also told me the crack may grow once the repair is completed, which it did. Now I have a permanent, eye sore of a crack in my windshield that will never disappear. Plus, at certain times of the day, light hits it and it creates weird optical effects in the corner of my vision. I know Safelite and my insurance company, Nationwide, would say this acceptable but it isn’t in my book. It would be like if my car got body damage and they replaced the sheet metal but said the panel doesn’t need to be painted because the car is structurally sound even without the paint. This is a Ford Mustang, not some $1000 beater that I had for 20 years. I pay for full insurance coverage so when things like this happen, I don’t have to drive my car with permanent damage. On top of that, this windshield was replaced several years ago by Safelite and ever since, I would get a noticeable whistling sound when driving above 50 MPH from the driver side corner. Due to this, I will have to replace the windshield for full price out of my pocket because wearing this damage permanently on my windshield is unacceptable. I didn’t call Safelite or Nationwide because I know they’ll just argue with me and tell me to pound sand on the issue. So in conclusion, if your windshield gets damaged, find a auto glass repair shop and insurance company that will restore your windshield to its pre-damaged state. Not one who will do a cheap repair that saves Safelite and Nationwide money but leaves you unsatisfied in the repair.

I usually don't work Mondays and when I was driving to my work site and noticed that I had a two foot long crack spidering its way across my windshield, I realized why everyone hates Mondays. I called my insurance company and in less than five minutes I had an appointment set up to have a technician come to my house the next day to replace my windshield. They told me he would arrive between 0800 and 1700 and they would text me when he is leaving if I would like. At 0830 I received a text saying Steven would arrive by 0910 and they even offered a link in which I could track Steven's location. Like any creep would, I clicked it and watched him drive for a while. When he arrived we had to play a quick game of musical cars and he was more than patient. The job was done in under an hour and he even cleaned my front windows and mirrors. He was polite and fastidious. Hope to not have to but would definitely use SafeLite again.

I had an excellent service experience with the Safelite AutoGlass in Pittston. I needed my windshield replaced due to it being hit by a rock and cracking. The appointment was easy to set up. I dropped off my car and they called me when it was ready to pick up (I also received text status updates during the service). When I got the call that my car was ready, the representative (I think his name was TJ) was great in explaining what I should/should not do the next few days in order to keep the windshield in good shape after it was replaced. I appreciated his time in talking through that and explaining the warranty in case anything goes wrong. Really glad I chose Safelite in Pittston!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Disappointed….So I had my windshield replaced today. I left the shop shortly after 5pm. As I’m driving, I see smudges and markings all over the windshield. The markings I was able to get off thankfully. What bothers me the most, is when I get home at about 5:36pm, I look over the receipt and it states I’m safe to drive the car AFTER 5:47pm…so why wasn’t I told this? Shortly after 5pm, I was told I was good to drive it so I figured that means it’s safe to drive. Now I’m worried about the condition of the windshield because I drove it on the highway for at least 30mins…Time will tell I guess. I don’t know if I’ll return to this location again…ServicesWiper blade installation, Auto windshield replacement

Chip in windshield of brand new car,(600 miles or less) brought it to them to repair. Repair looks questionable, worse yet they got epoxy drips on the hood. Now they are claiming it was already there. Car was washed two days before and it definitely was not there, luckily took pics that day. It took weeks to get a response about the issue ( through the wonderful warranty center) and the response was "nothing in our shop could do that". Seriously? It's epoxy, that's what is used to do the repair. Best part is this response is to some pictures they didn't even see it in person. Really really poor workmanship and worse customer care. STAY AWAY! Find a reputable local shop for glass repair.

Had my windshield replaced in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. They even made sure to use OEM Glass with the design details that were same as original. The scheduler was terrific and friendly, setting up an appointment for me at my second residence for my convenience. The service tech, "Jim", was awesome! Very friendly, on-time and professional. He did an outstanding job and went over everything with me before the work was done and again in summary. I feel very happy that I chose Safelite to replace my broken windshield. I highly recommend them for all of your auto-glass needs.

Be careful what you leave in your car. These people will steal it. Beware! Keep anything of value to you on you or take it out before you hand over your car to them. They stole my change out my cup holder and also stole out of ash tray. Yall a bunch of bums working over there. As far as my windshield being repaired they did not do a good job I still see the crack. Smh I'll go to kingston next timeNegativeQuality, Professionalism
