I scheduled service on my 2014 Toyota Tundra through GEICO and was given a mobile appointment. After receiving at least 6 different appointment confirmations regarding my Monday afternoon service, I receive a call on Saturday before the appointment to tell me the work must be done at a Safelite location. After receiving multiple confirmations of a new Monday morning appointment at a Safelite location, I received a call from Safelite telling me they didn’t have the replacement rear slider window and they’d get back to me on Monday I did not receive any updates on Monday and needed to call the office. I was told they couldn’t locate the glass and they’d contact me once they did. Nearly a week later I received an email saying I could schedule to service which I did at a new price 40% more than originally quoted by Safelite! I dropped my vehicle off last night and called after lunch to see when I could pick up the truck. After calling the location but being connected to an offsite customer service representative I had to wait for them to call the location for an update. I was then told since it was a drop off-pickup they were working on it between SCHEDULED appointments… but wasn’t I scheduled? I received numerous emails/texts telling me I had an appointment???? Being as I had a 45 minute walk to get to the location and arrived 23 minutes before closing I was informed it would be done by closing at 5 and asked if I had received a pickup call. If I waited for a call I would not have been able to pick up my truck. I sit in your lobby at 4:58 the window’s been removed but no one is working on the truck! I asked the gentleman at the desk for the name phone number and email address for an executive responsible for this region but was refused. I was told to call customer service. This entire experience has been horrendous! I will be notifying GEICO of this experience and will be making my experience known on public media. The only thing anyone really wanted was the appointment scheduled, everything else has been dreadful!

Windshield needed replaced and got set up for a new one through my insurance with Safelite. Technician, Joe, arrived at my house to replace it. Joe talked to me about my off road lights which would not be covered under their warranty since they are after factory (note: I’ve had these lights on since 2022 and got them professionally installed). I told him that’s fine and to continue with the service since it was just the lights not being covered and everything else on the car was still covered. Joe completed the service and left. Weeks later, I needed a new air filter and the hood was opened for the first time since the windshield replacement. Well, the lower wiper cowl vent panel was not put back on correctly by Joe so opening the hood caused it to bend and break. I made contact with Safelite, got a warranty appointment. Their quality manager is stating they are refusing to cover because of my off road lights. So the lights that have been installed for over three years, hood has been opened countless times, is all of a sudden the issue? OR MAYBE Joe did not put the panel back on correctly and that’s why it’s now broken. Crazy that the part is maybe $100 and they just refuse to do the right thing. So warning! If you’ve ever altered anything on your car, they now have the right to break anything else on your car.

Amazing service! I scheduled through my insurance for a large crack in my windshield requiring replacement. Bob and Bill in the office reached out to me because it was calling for rain the day of my appointment - thanks guys, and on top of that they got me rescheduled after I missed my original appointment (same day) But humongous shoutout to Cody!! He was my technician in the shop, I bought my 2017 Altima used and it was in an accident before causing the windshield to need replacing. The last guy did a piss poor job and you could tell. Cody (at Safelite) in his replacement went above and beyond to rectify the issues from the last replacement. My vin # was blacked out with urethane. And on the inside there was a large piece of padding sticking out on the dash. I came here fully expecting another average replacement, nothing average about these guys. Thanks Cody, I will definitely be back.

I had the unpleasant experience of having a cracked windshield and was not sure what to expect for a replacement. Made an appointment with safelight and got in the next day. Immediately greated as I walked in. They turned the TV on for me, offered me drinks and snacks and showed me where the restroom was. The wait room was very nice and if you have kids they have stuff for them to play with. The guy that helped me was awesome. Talked some football and was honest and not pushy at all. Best part was they immediately took my car in and it was done in under an hour. Price was way below what I was expecting to pay too. One of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with anything car related. If you ever need auto glass repair definitely hit up safelight on rt 51 they were awesome. This is how you run a business!

This business exemplifies what vehicle service SHOULD be. I got there about 5 minutes early, checked in, and they took my car promptly into the shop within 2 minutes of my appointment time and began working on it immediately. I was quote 90 minutes, and it took 89. When it was done, the technician who replaced my windshield explained that I would need to get my stickers re-issued, and told me how much it should cost. He asked if I had any questions, answered the ones I asked, and was personable, yet professional. All this, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, to which they were well prepared to encourage social distancing, and the facility was as clean as my home. I could not have asked for a better place to replace my windshield!!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism

If I could give this place a zero star review I would. At 9:40am on August 15th 2024. In McKeesport/ white oak. There was a safelite repair truck, had abruptly slammed on his breaks and turned without a turn signal. Leaving my husband and I almost getting into a car crash. Being that I am pregnant this worried me. My husband beeped at him. Then the driver who had pulled into two guys dealing company, turned around to follow my husband and I in opposing traffic line to scream at my husband and I. I tried to call safelite hotline number but for no one to answer. So this is my last option. Nor did I have an opportunity to get a “how’s my driving” sticker. This is so unprofessional and such a scary situation. I will NEVER go this company.

Definite five-star review! I had to have my windshield replaced after a run-in with a rogue rock. Because of the lane departure and other features in the front camera, I had to take it in to the shop for the windshield to be replaced and for recalibration. The waiting area was set up nicely, with an area for customers to watch TV, but I was really glad to see they also had a couple tables where you could sit and work. The staff was courteous and professional and had the install completed and looking great in less time than I anticipated. Just a really good experience from start to finish!PositivePunctuality, Quality, ProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement

Having my car window smashed was not great, but the Safelite team at this location really took care of me and I’m so appreciative of them! Special shoutout to Bud who offered to let me leave my vehicle at their garage so it could be fixed while I was out of town, and thank you also to Jim who came out to my home in very cold weather to clean out the glass so it was drivable. I planned to drop off my vehicle at the Safelite location a few days ahead of time to be fixed, and they were able to fix it within an hour since the part came in early. I don’t recall their names, but the guys at the garage were super helpful as well! Highly recommend this Safelite team.

This company sent a technician to my home to repair my passenger window. They were knowledgeable with my initial call, it all went smoothly as I had nothing to do but explain my issues. They handled it very professionally, the tech they sent to my home was courteous and very polite. Seeing I have a bad leg he came to me, did what was needed and returned my keys to me at my door. Very caring and polite and explained what work he completed and that everything will be sent to my insurance company. I will stay with and recommend your shop at every chance I get. That young .an went above and beyond and I appreciate it Thank you!!!

I had gotten into a minor accident, a little over a week ago. My hood wasn't latching correctly, and while driving, my hood flipped up and totally messed up my windshield. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The tech was awesome. He even told me a little bit about what I needed to get repaired, for my hood to sit properly again. Was done in just over a hour. A friend had told me they would also vacuum out the glass from my car. That wasn't done. But I honestly don't know if that's apart of the service, and the man was already working past his shift time, so I just appreciated the help he did. Thank you 😊
