Father & Son Auto Glass

Please reconsider taking your vehicle here for any repair service. We unfortunately had a very bad experience. We took our 2019 BMW X4 to have a side window replaced after a break-in. Issues included: 1) They refused to provide an itemized receipt, claiming that this is against their "policy". If I would have known this, we would have never taken our vehicle to this shop. They also claim that they "do not charge sales tax". 2) They lied about the services they would provide. We requested they check the window regulator and seals to assess if they needed to be replaced due to damage from the break-in. They agreed to do this and even said they would order replacement parts if needed. When we picked our vehicle up, they stated that they do not do this type of service. 3) They failed to clean the broken glass out of the back seat of the car. This makes me question whether they cleaned the broken glass out of the door as well which is a critical step to glass repair. 4) They do not provide any warranty for their work. If the window stops going up/down, leaks, or any other issues occur they provide NO warranty. The cherry on top is that they charged $600 for a window replacement, and lied saying the replacement window cost $400 when it only cost $277 (they showed me the receipt from BMW). The work only took 1 hour - which means they charged $300 for 1 hour of labor. Main takeaway - stay away from this location.

Father And Son Auto Glass are the absolute best. I know because I called 8 different places to get the rear passenger glass replaced on my Mom's 2015 Kia Soul. Everybody was either $150 more than Father And Son Auto Glass, or they were asking for the payment up front to make an appointment for 2-5 days later. So Mom was supposed to either have no window for that time, or as 2 different places said, "just put a garbage bag where the window would be until we get your window in stock." Absolutely NOT, The window was broken because someone tried to steal the car, but Mom always has a wheel lock on the steering wheel, so they broke the window for nothing because they still couldn't steal the car. Don't waste your time calling around for prices because you won't find anyone cheaper than Father And Son Auto Glass. We walked in 2 hours after finding the window was broken and they did Moms window in about 25 minutes, and cleaned up the broken glass in the back seat and we were off to do what we were planning on that day. I literally called yesterday because the day before a fabulous rock got kicked up into my windshield on 95. It was just a circular crack at first, no big deal right? WRONG. After a few hours it had spidered and a huge crack ran vertical and for fun went sideways too. Because why not. I called around and got honest review from a repair person and he told me it needs to be replaced. After calling around I found Father & Son - Helana (spelling?) was so sweet and helpful and was able to let me know I can get it replaced the NEXT day. I called at 8AM Saturday (after someone broke into my car to steal nothing) to check for a replacement for passenger side glass for my ancient 1990 celica, doubted anyone could take care of it before an incoming storm. They had me arrive within an hour, finished the job in another hour, and even cleaned out the broken glass AND turned the car around in the lot to make it easier to leave. The cost of all was half of safelite. There were even cafes within walking distance to enjoy the time I waited. Literally nothing they could have done better. Excellent experience. Called for a quote on a small back window, which was far less than the one I got from Safelite, and they offered to get me in the same day. My schedule couldn't accommodate that, so they got me in at 8:00am the next day. I was in and out very quickly, and everybody was very friendly. They even vacuumed the broken glass out of my car. Also, the price quoted was what I paid- there were no hidden fees or sneaky upcharges that some places like to do. Highly recommended, and I will absolutely be back if I ever need auto glass replaced again (hopefully not though)

I can't say enough good things about this place. My car was broken into and I chose to take it here because of the reviews and the price they offered. I called in around 9:30, dropped it off around 11 and the window was fixed by 12:30. Cost $190 for a driver side window and it looks brand new. Everything works perfectly and the guys even took the time to vacuum all the broken shards of glass that I couldn't get to under my seat. They did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this place if your car gets vandalized, they do a great honest job

Helina and the team father and son auto glass, completely restored my hope for professional car service in the city of Philadelphia! I came in, as you can see in the video, very upset and angry as my car was broken into and this was not the first time‼️‼️ .. and I was so pleased and thankful to have their team call me before their hours start at 8 AM and invite me to come in for first serve service … and to be in and out within 45 minutes. I recommend the shop to all seek affordable prices, professional service, and a smiling attitude.

Very satisfied with their work and customer service. I called here desperate after having my car sit in a different shop for three days with no work done to my car. I spoke to someone who ensured me that they actually had the glass in shop right then and could do the work today. I rushed to get my car out of the other shop and took it there instead, I received a better quote and the glass was installed within thirty minutes! I will definitely go there for any other work needed and would recommend there excellent quality glass work!

Sadly said today is the second time me using Father & Son for another broken window with my KIA, But they are amazing today not only was my window in stock but I was in and out in 30 minutes and did not have to miss a day of work. Not only the repair guys was fast and great clean work, the young lady who to my call called me back in less than 5 minutes to let me know they had my window. Went to my car this morning and the window was broken. I called Father & Son Auto Glass, and Helena, their customer relations person, knew right away about whether they had the replacement glass for our car. As soon as I arrived they were able to work on it and the job was done within an hour. Great customer service and a perfect job. Well priced and they even cleaned up all of the broken glass. It was such a mess. Helena was so terrific. What a great team!
