Eds Auto Glass

This Place is the worst! Avoid this place at all costs. The Oriental man is very "Disrespectful", "Is Inpatient with his customers", Does Not like to be asked questions", I feel he charged me alot more then he should have" [ But I was not in the mood to shop around.] "He left so much glass bits in my car! You wouldn't believe", "He did an Extremely Bad job at vacuuming all the glass, which is unacceptable!", [I noticed the huge amount of glass he NEGLECTED to vacuum when I got home.] "He does not treat his customers with the proper respect", I would NEVER go to Ed's Auto Glass again! If it was the only place in Philly! I'd rather drive to Delaware then go to Ed's Auto Glass! He charged me $160.00 for the passenger side window! Which is very high according to EVERYONE I spoke with. Try "Father & Son Auto Glass" located on N.2nd. & Diamond St. That day they happened to be closed. So I picked a real loser as my 2nd. pick. I was desperate & in a rush. I can not emphasize enough how dissatisfied I was with "Ed's Auto Glass" located on Bridge Street. So, PLEASE! do yourself a tremendous favor & AVOID "Ed's Auto Glass" like the Plague. I rated it one star, because that's the lowest. If I were able I'd have given Ed's a Minus One! TRUST ME on this rating. I'd hate to see someone else get the unprofessional treatment along with his expensive pricing. Good Luck!

I wish I could give this place negative stars, took my car to have a small chip in the windshield repaired in the process of them having my car in their possession they put a 12 inch long crack in the windshield and have the nerve to say they are not liable for the damage without having made me or the person who took my car to be repaired for that matter sign a waiver of liability saying they are not responsible if the window breaks worse in their care, when you call to speak to the owner he hangs up on you is very arrogant and unprofessional when the law says that when a business takes possession of your car they are responsible for any damage there after, I have before and after pictures and now am in the process of dealing with my attorney and filing criminal complaint reports on top of the fact that now I cannot even take my car to a more respectful and professional business to be repaired because this place broke it worse beyond repair DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Buyer beware!

I had a very bad experience. They couldn't give me a reliable estimate over the phone for a windshield replacement even though I gave them the VIN. So I got the estimate and made the appointment to bring it back to get the job done. They still ordered the wrong windshield, instead of an hour wait, I was there for half a day and then they charged me more for the windshield, not even honoring their estimate and taking accountability for their mistake. So it ended up being quite a bit more than expected. I could've had a larger company come to my house and do it for a little less and I would have saved two trips. This place was absolutely wonderful! I had such a terrible morning with waking up to my car being broken into, window broken, glass everywhere throughout the car. My daughters car seat was filled with glass, her area had glass all over it. They had my window done in such a timely matter and cleaned every piece of glass I could see. Even cleaned up my car as it was a mess from being rummage through. Would highly recommend the entire shop. The lady at the desk was so comforting, the guy in the office was so full of life, the man that cleaned and repaired my car was just great! Everyone! Go there! Btw I called safelite they were much more money and couldn’t have it done until a day and a half later.

VERY POOR SERVICE! Could not have been more disappointed! Ed's auto glass was supposed to come to my house to replace my windshield on my car and never showed at the approximate time they gave me. I called and they stated they were running behind on some other jobs and wouldn't make it. I went ahead and rescheduled for two days later and a Rachelle called the morning of the appointment and stated they couldn't make it again to replace my windshield. I asked if they could reschedule somebody else since they had already rescheduled me once and they said no.When I stated I would be canceling and go else where the only response was "ok, Whatever." WILL DEFINITELY TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!

I had my passenger side rear window broke, I called around and got a lot of VM and high estimates. I called Ed’s Auto glass and Christine answered the phone, which was a plus as it was a real person not a VM. She was very professional, knowledgeable and super helpful. She went the extra mile to get the window replaced the same day for less than the estimate that i received. She went and picked the window from the manufacturer herself to get me back on the road the same day. Replaced the front windshield on my Cadillac XTS. Excellent work. They were over $50 lower than everywhere I checked. Was a little skeptical of that, but everything worked out. Friendly staff. Expert service and repair. In most cases when you go cheap you end up getting what you paid for. Not the case here. They know windshields and they know fair pricing. I dropped my car off and they called when it was ready. He gave me a time frame of when it would be ready and that's when it was ready. From now on I'm going with Ed's auto glass.

I was referred to Ed’s auto glass from a friend and I’m glad they suggested them. Kevin in the office was professional, transparent and fairly priced. My driver side -rear window was completely blown out and they were able to order the window and repair it in a timely manner. I must say, the office waiting area is very spacious and comfortable as well, I was able to work on my laptop while waiting. It took less than an hour for the repair! I’ll definitely be back for any window repairs and can highly recommend Ed’s Auto Glass!👍🏻

Incorrect installation of windshield which caused it to rain inside my vehicle for several months! As another reviewer stated "things got ugly" and finally received a replaced windshield from them which I am still not convinced that it is correct. The owner literally stares at you with no communication whatsoever relying on the woman at the front desk to do all the explanation, yet she is not installing! Yes, BUYER BEWARE. Take your vehicle elsewhere, please!!-----Aaah, and so the owner responds...it should not take MONTHS.

Went for a windshield replacement and they did not disappoint. It's a small shop but don't let that fool you. They worked with me and my schedule and was able to get the installation done the next day. Fast, courteous and professional. Will take any future business I have back to them if needed. Best part I was quoted almost 1k elsewhere and they did it for less than half. I'm glad I shopped around. If your windshield needs work, don't listen to the commercials go here instead.
