Big Crack Autoglass

I just finished up a great experience with Big Crack Auto Glass yesterday. Their follow-through, commitment and people who know the business in and out was great. As I look at a Google Review from three weeks ago, I echo the same thoughts. I had my back window smashed out. Started to make calls about the repair. Called Safelight Lancaster first, but the local number goes direct to the national call center, which their only goal is to "get you on the schedule". So no local interaction, and no one who had any idea what the repair looked like. I needed a part from Lancaster Nissan and they referred me to Big Crack. They said it's who they "trust", so when a dealer makes that recommendation, that's impressive. Shannon, the owner, his front office staff of Crystal and Summer, and his technicians were all great. What was most impressive was the time they took when I just "stopped in" to have them take a look. They took "time", and Shannon pointed out a couple specific items for his team to pay attention to for completing the repair, and made the suggestion to me to purchase a part directly to save a couple dollars. Thorough, experienced, professional and they hustle to make sure you're satisfied and my total bill was less than the other quotes I received. Highly recommended!

Big Crack Auto Glass has absolutely fantastic customer service both during service work and after service follow-up. After they replaced my windshield recently, I thought I might have had a leak coming in the passenger side. I brought my car into their shop where Shannon (the owner) sprayed windshield foaming glass cleaner around the entire windshield and performed a compressed-air and water-spray test to check to see if there were any leaks. Shannon tested the windshield seal thoroughly and even took extra time to help me discover the real area of the leak which was found to be in the body of the car. Shannon recommended a few body shops to take a look at where the leak was coming from. I really appreciated their after-service dedication and thorough testing. I also want to give a thanks and shout out to their whole team both on the field and in the office for their extra work and dedication for servicing my windshield. Shannon at the garage, Cindy in the office, and my tech Rodney were all pleasant and communicative and great to work with. I highly recommend these guys for any of your Auto Glass needs.

Side window broke and needed replaced. Company was able to get me in quickly and work was completed earlier than expected. Unfortunately due to aftermarket products I had an issue with the window shortly after. Company was able to get me in at a convenient time and worked to rectify the situation for me right while I waited. Less than 1 hr in and out. Office was pleasantly decorated which you don't often see with very comfortable seating (big plus if you are waiting). Really made it feel like home. I was told to make myself at home and enjoy coffee while I waited. (Which I later was even asked how it was. So sweet!)The gentleman that assisted me came to check on me, explained everything in detail, and even took responsibility for the issue which was caused by a faulty part (not even their fault). TLDR: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these folks!!! Brought my 2022 Toyota Venza to them after getting multiple referrals which all highly recommended them. I needed my entire front windscreen replaced. They were able to schedule it for the next day and told me they could do it while I waited. It took less than two hours for them to replace this rather complicated windscreen. The people I dealt with (mostly Crystal, but others as well) were very friendly, professional, and courteous. The waiting room is small but very clean and comfortable, with free WiFi available, so I was able to do work while I waited for my repair. My new windscreen has a lifetime warranty, and if there is any problem I find with their work, I can bring it back for them to fix it, and they'll take care of it. I don't anticipate any issues, however. Bottom line is that this is where you should take your car for glass repair of replacement. It's where I will go from now on - they have a customer for life.

I had a new windshield installed 2 years ago through State Farm Insurance in my H3T. They mentioned a couple of the known names and also Big Crack (1st time I heard of them). I didn't feel comfortable with the others because of the experience of two of my co-workers. So I went with Big Crack. The initial install was great. Two years later, an issue developed. I called my agent to see what I can do. She had subsequently sold the agency to someone else. I figured...here we go. NG-No Good. But, the new owner found the details of my 2 year old claim and within 15 minutes a rep from Big Crack called to get the details. I scheduled a time to stop by for them to take a peek. The issue was looked at and it was determined that it would be covered at no charge. Great service. Worked with my schedule. Very pleasant and accommodating. I like Big Crack and enjoy supporting folks who work hard and are thorough and knowledgeable with their craft. Tim.

I had knee replacement surgery in January and I wasn't able to drive my 5-speed pickup to Big Crack Autoglass. I called the office and spoke to a very nice woman who arranged for me to have Mobile Service. I think my appointment was scheduled for the very next day. I'm so glad the weather was decent considering it was in the middle of February. My truck was in the driveway when the technician arrived. He was very polite, explained what he was going to do and how long it was going to take, and he went right to work. When he finished he showed me the work he had done and gave me some care instructions. As I looked around and inside my truck I could not find a bit of glass - everything was cleaned up and looked fantastic. While looking for a reputable windshield replacement company I looked through all the different company reviews, and Big Crack had a lot of good ones. I'm glad I had them do my windshield replacement.

I called in and spoke directly to Shannon after a less than impressive experience trying to get setup with my insurance company’s recommendation of Safelight. From the first phone call to the end of service, this place is a class act. They are efficient, thorough, and above all, thoughtful. My car’s rear windshield was punctured by a rogue trampoline that took flight on a windy day. Rain threatened to make a soggy situation of my interior, but Shannon took it upon himself to offer that I bring my car immediately to the shop for safe keeping even if my glass couldn’t arrive the same day for replacement. That is service. Summer and all the staff I interacted with were amazing as well. Do yourself a favor and stay local. You’ll be very glad you did. Thanks again to the entire team. You made me feel instantly comfortable during a very stressful experience.

The Team at Big Crack was just terrific in working with my car dealership to execute a warranty rear window replacement. The repair was done well and the crew took care to leave my vehicle clean and neat. The best part was when I discovered a minor blemish on a piece of trim molding that had to be removed and re-installed as part of the job. I was able to consult Janelle, Krystal, Steve, and Shannon to have this evaluated right away and they went above and beyond to to make sure this issue was addressed. In observing the operation while I waited in their comfy waiting area, it was clear that this team operates as a family and that each person made the customer the focus, regardless of his or her specific role. Great experience at Big Crack Auto Glass!! While driving on the highway, a rock shattered the passenger side of our windshield. First we called a well known, nationally advertised company and thought we were calling one of the local facilities (was a local phone number) but call was routed to an out of state call center. We were told no appointments in our area until the middle of the next week. Big Crack Auto Glass replaced our windshield the next morning. They were courteous, professional, and the windshield is great with all the proper calibrations for our auto’s cameras. And they did all the paperwork with our insurance company. AWESOME SERVICE! I called every company within 50 miles. All but one said they couldn't help me for 24-72 hours. As a truck driver, if the wheels aren't turning, I'm not earning, so you can imagine how I felt about waiting! I was glad when this guy returned my call. He estimated he could meet me around noon, at the truck stop I am sitting at. His price waa about 1/3 less than everyone else and in some cases closer to half. Not only was the price excellent, he was here early. He was fast, professional and it's 11:10 am as I write this review. I am about to start driving, two hours earlier than I hoped when first speaking to him, two days to three days earlier than if I hadn't found him! I will be on time to my next appointment!
