Safelite AutoGlass

I set up an appointment to have my windshield repaired through Progressive, and after setting a date and time for the appointment, I was told by my Progressive agent to contact the Safelite shop to make plans for dropping the vehicle off. However, there is no way to connect with a human at Safelite through the phone number provided for this business. The phone number will take you into an automated answering system, and if you request to speak to an agent regarding your appointment, the robot informs you that all scheduling is done EXCLUSIVELY online, before disconnecting. I attempted to call 4 different times at various times throughout the day in an attempt to get through to a person who could answer my questions (which aren't answered on the Safelite website). I have no means of contacting anyone at the business other than to physically drive there and approach the desk. I consider this unacceptable for a business with a customer service phone number listed on their Google Maps profile.

I wish it was possible to give this company and ALL of their locations a ZERO star review!. Better yet, Negative stars!. I had a windshield replaced through them less than a year ago and the whole process was a nightmare, to date!. I was completely against dealing with them in the first place, but it was where insurance wanted me to go!. So against my better judgement, I went with it!. The scheduling was the only easy part and thats because the insurance company handled that. I drop the car off, Told it would be about 2-3 hours until completion and did not receive a follow up call until they were almost CLOSED for the day!. Which gave me barely enough time to make it for pickup, after finding a ride from work. Moving on, I had to return the car THREE times after that, within a weeks time, for them to FIX my mirror and rain sensor the right way, which was a fail all three times. I said the heck with it and figured it out myself.. If it weren't for an active warranty on my windows, I would never deal with this company again!.. Here I am, less than a year later and I need to take advantage of said warranty!. The windshield this Lovely outfit installed in my vehicle decided it was going to break when I LEANED ON IT!. I have 3 calls into their warranty department, left messages and have still yet to receive a call back!. I have tried stopping in at the shop local to me twice, with he first attempt ending up them being closed when their store hours and note on the door CLEARLY stated they were open for business!. people were in the shop, open display showing, doors locked and noone paying any mind to the person trying to get their attention. Second time was similar!.. Noone had interest in trying serve my attention that day. I will make a 3rd attempt first thing in the morning and do plan on filing a suit against them, If they do not honor their warranty!. I hope this helps anyone of interest out, in a manor of steering very far away from this horrible company!..... Update!.. Finally spoke with safelite Tech/representative and they refuse to cover my windshield damage with warranty, due to failure.NegativePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I work at a hospital and booked an appointment online for after my shift ended. They called multiple times asking if I could come in earlier but I couldn't. Unfortunately my shift ended a bit chaotically and I realized it was already 5 min past my appt, so I called, apologized, and asked if I could move my appt back at all. They said since I booked my appt online, they had already canceled it as a no show. They said I needed to reschedule online. I did, and was relieved to see a 3:30 pm appt. I took it and received a confirmation of it. When I arrived for my appt,, there was no one there. They had closed early for the day. Called customer support, who couldn't get ahold of the manager. Great way to treat stressed healthcare staff during a global pandemic.

First time I parked patroned this business did not go well. Unfortunately no where else in county to go that was covered by insurance. 2nd time around was much better. Would recommend going to shop. First time tech was to come out he was too cold and then "ran out of day" and had to cancel my scheduled appt for him to fix at my employer. Asked me to take vehicle in to shop since I didn't have a garage at my work. I asked if they would drive me back to work since that was the whole point of me scheduling and waiting for an on-site repair. They wouldn't be able to do that was replied. I needed to work but luckily found coworker willing to follow me to drop off car. Word to wise...if you know you work outside invest in some outdoor gear. In shop staff was very nice.

What a great experience! I had a stone chip my windshield and seeing commercials for Safelite thought I'd try them for the repair. I have never been more pleased. The staff at the Lebanon PA location is very friendly, courteous, professional and informative. They explained the whole process to me upon arrival. It was even easy to reschedule my original appointment when something came up. They took my vehicle into their warm shop bay & did the repairs which from start to finish was done within 30 min! I would definitely recommend Safelite & this shop location to anyone needing repairs or replacement. I hope I don't need glass service again but if I do I will be returning here for they are the best in my opinion! Thank you Safelite & the techs at the Lebanon shop!

I recently worked with Safelite Auto Glass to replace a shattered window on my wife's vehicle. My experience with Safelite, from the moment I placed the initial phone call, was outstanding! The response was very quick and professional. The communications with regards to the appointment were wonderful. I especially liked the fact that they included a picture of the Safelite employee who would be coming to my home to make the repair. This person, in fact, was also extremely professional and did a fabulous job with the repair. Kudos to Safelite! I would recommend them to anyone! ~ Bob

Very professional and the customer service is outstanding! Had our van windshield crack. My insurance company set everything up with them. Safelite was very timely and made sure to keep us informed during the whole process! The technician did a great job too! I would never know that my windshield was replaced! We would definitely recommend them! Thank you!! Update: One year later and we got a knick in our truck. windshield. They got me in same day. I was in and out in a half hour. They were super nice and professional!! Would still recommend, 1 year later 🙂

Safelite did a very good job w/ scheduling n they had a very nice wonderful man come out his name was Ian. He did everything in a short period of time n afterward he explained everything to my husband where to get his inspection stickers replaced n that he couldn't put anything on his windshield for like 72 hours. My car insurance contacted Safelite. 1st time I had to use them. Had a very good experience. I would recommend them ask for Ian to come out to do the work!

I don't ever leave reviews for things, but I felt the need to regarding my experience today. I was very pleased with the process of getting our windshield replaced. Dropped our suv off first thing in the morning and it was completed by lunchtime. The gentleman who waited on us was exceptional. Extremely professional, courteous, and just generally pleasant. I hope to never need a windshield replaced again, but if I do I'm coming back. 5 stars all day

My truck windshield cracked on a Friday morning, a day after we had a snow/freezing rain storm, and I was able to get a Monday appointment. They started the job promptly and kept me informed about the progress. The waiting area was comfortable. The entire job took less than 90 minutes, part of which was just necessary to allow the adhesive to set. I would not hesitate to recommend Safelite.
