To be honest, I feel like they don't care about their customers here. I took my car in for what I thought was a window replacement, but ended up just being a replacement for the automatic piece that makes the window roll up. The original quote had been $345 for the window replacement, then I was quoted $240 over the phone by the man who worked on my car (apparently the manager) for just the replacement of the piece. Once I got there the front desk informed me that the manager had not written up a report for my car and that they were going to charge me $275 based on their estimate of the procedure. When I tried to find out what happened to raise the price, no one could explain it to me and acted like I was trying to pull one over on them. I'm a college student, when the mechanic quoted me the $240 over the phone I repeated it back to him to make sure that I'd heard him correctly and that I knew what I was going to be paying. After being somewhat annoyed by the lack of communication and explanation on their part I sucked it up and paid the $275 for a used automatic window piece. After taking it home I noticed the window was making a grinding sound and that it was actually scratching up my window when I rolled it down. I took it back in hoping they could fix the scratching problem and buff the scratches caused by their replacement job out of the window. Ultimately, they told me it was out of their hands and that the scratches had been caused by the dirt protectors on my car windows being too worn. In the six years that I've owned my car, dirt has never gotten into my windows and scratched them up. That happened after their replacement job. The manager told me that there was nothing they could do because I agreed to buy a used replacement piece. They never offered me an option to buy a new one! I either had to agree to buy the old piece or have my window permanently rolled down. No one warned me beforehand that installing a used automatic window piece could potentially scratch up my car window! How was I supposed to know that? I spoke with the manager and tried to explain why I felt like I had had such a poor experience with them and he told me that there was nothing that they could do and that he had only ever quoted me $275. The front desk literally told me that he did not write a report for my vehicle. Does that seem like he remembers what he quoted me at all? Yes, I just wanted to squeeze the very specific amount of exactly $35 out of you guys for no apparent reason. The manager told me after the fact that installing used pieces is a "crapshoot". That's exactly how I feel right now. I went in to have my car worked on at Bill's Glass and it was a crapshoot. I lost.

My husband brought in a window screen to be repaired. He was told that it was too damaged and they had to build a new one and it would take a few days. A week went by and nobody called to say it was done. My husband called and was informed the person that was going to make the screen wasn't there that week and it would take another week. Again, nobody called and when he called they said it was finally done. When he brought it home it was the wrong size and had to bring it back. They made another one and it was still the wrong size. Finally after three trips it was correct. They didn't offer a discount for the trouble and didn't apologize. The customer service was horrible.

Absolutely Avoid Bill's Glass for Any Auto Needs! What started as a simple windshield replacement turned into a seven-hour nightmare. I was repeatedly lied to, told my vehicle was being calibrated on-site, only to discover they do some shady stuff. They drove my vehicle downtown without my permission to an unapproved, third-party shop, Southern Oregon Alignment & Calibration. All insurance companies need to be aware because they are potentially paying for work Bill's Glass isn't even performing themselves, billing for services outsourced without proper authorization or disclosure. During this endless wait, their excuses were a revolving door of deceit: "everything is fine, they're just busy," "I don't know what's taking so long," "we called, they didn't answer," and "should be ready any minute." It was all a string of blatant lies. To make matters worse, after all that wasted time and deception, they couldn't even calibrate the new windshield. Don't bother waiting in their small office because it's so filthy, it's disgusting. The staff's behavior was appalling. The technicians were rude, and Bill himself was hostile and confrontational. I can't help but feel they believed they could take advantage of me, perhaps because I'm a woman. The two women at the front desk were equally unprofessional and unhelpful, responding to every question with a dismissive "I don't know." To top it all off, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, the owner, Bill, had the audacity to tell me, "Well, if you don't like it, next time you can take your car to another shop." He certainly took the words right out of my mouth — never again! It's clear Bill has a serious case of "little man syndrome" and it's probably time for him to retire. Save yourself the headache and frustration—find another glass shop for your vehicle.

Called to have two windows fixed at my property. The guy was a half hour late but was really nice about it and explained they did not book him enough time to get out to my place. Fine, things happen, I was told I'd have a quote in a couple days. 4 days passed and someone called and left a message that they had my quote. Called back the number and extension they gave me only for it to say I couldn't call that number. Fine, so I called the main line and talked to whoever I could finally get on the line and they say that this Michelle person who called was on another call and would call me back. No call back. So I call again. Get another gentleman who says she's in the field and asked if he could help. He can't find my info by name, number, address or time of the appointment. Fine... So he tells me he would call back once he found it. That was 3 or 4 days ago now, no call. Not fine. Called a different company and they are in the process of fixing it now.. Horribly ran this place is. Would not recommend.

Took an old window in to have a single pane glass replaced , also to purchase 1/2 glass same size as window to make a coffee table out of it . Stood in the flat glass office for minuets with window in hand , while two woman continued to converse , at some point later a woman asked if She could help me . I start to explained what I wanted , she interrupts , says that won’t hold the weight , at which time I continue to explain my plan . She takes down my name and phone number and say I’ll get back to you with a estimate By noon the next day I hadn’t herd anything , called another glass company , very accommodating . Again stood in the flat glass office for minuets , same woman asks can I help you ? “Brought the window in , haven’t herd anything” She replies I turned in the estimate request . You folks seem way busy , took my window somewhere else , in my opinion not very helpful at best Have luckNegativeProfessionalism

Came here expecting glass service, left with secondhand embarrassment and a reminder of why some people shouldn’t be allowed to speak in public. The tech had the nerve to say, “If you were a man, you’d be laid out already.” Bold words coming from someone who looked like he got lost on the way to middle school and never found his way back. He gave off serious “my cousin is also my uncle” energy and spoke like he was still working on the alphabet. Shocking he found the door this morning, let alone a job. And the owner? Imagine the energy of a guy who Googled “how to be alpha” and took all the wrong notes. Walking around like he's 7 feet tall when he's stuck at 4'11". Loud, absolutely miserable, and painfully insecure. You don’t run a business, you run your mouth—and not well. If you enjoy being disrespected and talked down to by people who peaked in high school, this is your place. Everyone else: run.

So I had to have my jeeps windshield replaced, insurance covered it contacted them, and within an hour they called me to schedule an appointment, very prompt. I dropped off they said "plan on 2 hours or so, we'll call you" they called an hour and a half later that it would be ready in about 10 minutes, very good. I go pick up and I have a beautiful new windshield, they've cleaned my floor boards, very nice, they were all leafy and had pine needles all over, the top is off currently. But best of all! It's an older jeep and it has some idiosyncrasies, my side mirrors were looking at the ground because the screws were loose, I'm lazy and don't remember to tighten them, so if I go more than 35mph the wind blows them down. They noticed and tightened the screws so my mirrors work again! Thank you so much Bill's Glass for doing more than expected, I so much appreciate it.

For 25 years I have been saving a very old, irreplaceable piece of glass for a special gift for my wife, a hand made door for our pantry. The trouble was I was afraid of it breaking when it was cut to size. I finally decided to use Bills Glass. I was greeted by a young lady who said it was possible it might crack when cut, but was pretty confident she could do it. She promptly unloaded the 36x48 pane, and in no more than 5 minutes confidently cut two perfectly sized windows. Imagine my surprise when I offered my credit card, when she smiled and said, "No charge, have a great morning!" Unexpectedly great professional service, I'll be back. But this time I'll insist on paying.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Terrible. Won’t be back. Dropped off my car for a new windshield appointment (Which was made 3 days in advance) was told it would be ready after three hours. At 2 and 1/2 hours of waiting received a call that the windshield they had in stock was scratched and that it wasn’t even the right windshield for my car. They get one star for not installing a scratched, incorrect windshield.- Update to the owners response, I gave my vehicle make and model and year and told the lady on the phone I was not sure if the windshield was heated. You, being experts in the trade, should be able to get that information so you can be sure when a customer shows up for an appointment and drops their car off they don’t have to wait around for nothing.

I have dealt with Bills Glass for the past several years and have never had a bad experience. My most recent experience dealt with two mirrored closet doors. The mirrors are separating from the doors and necessitated that they be removed in order to secure the glass. Bills Glass gave me a free estimate to start with and then called back and advised that I could possibly fix this myself by not removing the doors and simply adding adhesive tape. They advised that they would gladly furnish the tape. I had taxed their services somewhat and expected a bill, but they advised that the service was free which is quite uncommon in today’s Service economy.
