Stop-A-Crack Windshield Crack Repair & Replacement

Replaced my windshield with this shop after getting a major crack! I was traveling between TX and OK for work and she was the cheapest quote I received. She does have a discount for medical workers, which was greatly appreciated; however, I cannot recommend this shop. I had been patient after my windshield was not delivered by the dealership the morning of my appointment and waited thirty minutes in their shop before I was told it was not there by them. A call the day before or morning of my appointment would've been better received. I initially wanted to cancel altogether, but after a deal that I made with the owner, I decided to show up the next morning after receiving a picture of my windshield in the shop. I had been very patient throughout this process. Picture was received and windshield was fixed promptly. I actually ended up coming back the next week for a minor crack repair because I believed she was in the business of helping others. Unfortunately, I was wrong. My windshield wipers were not aligned properly and I had to go back to my dealership at home to adjust them appropriately. I then noticed that my trim was not attached on my roof rack and broken, so I’m having to replace this as well now. Owner was not willing to help after all of my patience and claimed these issues were “normal wear and tear”, so I find it appropriate to share my updated experience. She is now accusing me of being a liar in her comment, which I am not. As well as a toddler for sharing MY experience. A business owner shouldn’t conduct themselves that way. My wipers were used AFTER my rock chip repair and the evidence she claims to have against this was from me using a wand at the gas station upon discovering the rock chip. Photo has been provided! Say no to crack, and yes to this shop! If you’re looking for a windshield repair shop that’s top-tier, affordable, and just the right amount of hilarious, Stop-a-Crack is it. Not only do they say no to crack (the glass kind, of course), but they say yes to exceptional service, friendly faces, and spotless floorboards. Heather, the owner, is a total rockstar. She’s one of those rare people who really knows cars but also knows how to make you laugh while talking about calibration standards. You can tell she loves what she does, and she cares deeply about her customers too. My car was inspected before and after the glass replacement to ensure everything met OEM standards, no shortcuts, no nonsense. Shout out to Lashanda, the office manager, who was so sweet over the phone when I called to say I’d be running late. They still took me in and finished the job in HALF the estimated time. (They said 3–4 hours; it took 1.5!) And the cherry on top? They vacuumed my floorboards. I didn’t ask, they didn’t tell me, it just magically happened. I’m now convinced they’re powered by kindness and fairy dust. Skip the big name places like Safelite; Stop-a-Crack is hands down the best auto glass shop in the city. I’m genuinely excited to share my experience and will recommend them to everyone I know (and probably a few people I don’t).

This is the place I tell everyone to go to if you need a window repair. I’ve been twice now. The first time was a few years ago when I was low on cash, but Needed a pretty deep chip in my window fixed. I had it quoted at two other places, and could not afford the $700+ replace and calibrate the windshield. Instead of trying to sell me a new windshield, the guy told me they could do their best to repair my windshield for less than $60, and did disclose that there would be a blemish/scar. For that price, I was happy to accept it. They mentioned if I did decide to replace the windshield it would cost around $400, which was significantly less than the other two places I quoted. More recently, I got a new car, and had a chip in my windshield. It was nothing major, but I noticed the crack starting to spread. I went back, and they repaired it using the same method for less than $60 and the crack was gone and just a tiny spec from the original chip. AMAZING. Also it was fast and friendly. I believe I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Best auto-glass shop I have ever used! I submitted the contact form online after business hours and they contacted me right away the following morning with a VERY REASONABLE price quote. Scheduled for a couple days later. Day of was easy, drop off and pick up were both quick. New glass looks great, install is clean and tidy. I did have one minor issue that ended up needing to be resolved with them, realized a few days later that something had been missed. They handled it the best way I can imagine, seemed genuinely glad that I had brought it to their attention, and resolved it promptly. I say this not as a negative, but as a positive note on their customer service! So definitely go to Stop-A-Crack, you'll get good work at a good price and, on the rare occasion something goes wrong, you'll get good customer service too! Update: returned today for a rock chip repair on a family member's vehicle. Another great, easy, affordable experience! Will continue to recommend this shop to anyone who needs auto glass repair or replacement.

A super tiny windshield chip turned into an 18" crack in a matter of hours following this latest round of slushy snowfall. I just knew I was gonna have to replace the entire windshield to the tune of $1000 according to a Safelite estimate. Well, I have a $1000 insurance deductible, so filing a claim would have been moot. I did a Google search and found Stop-a-Crack, who had really good reviews and now I know why. I filled out an online quote request and uploaded a photo of the crack. Within 30 minutes, owner Heather Grubb responded and asked me to bring my car in to see the crack in person. I pulled in at about 3:30 and Heather greeted me by name after i mentioned the email she'd sent. We went out to take a look and she immediately said she could fix the crack. Despite other customers waiting for their cars they had me fixed up in about 30 minutes and I was on my way for just under $100 bucks! Talk about superb service and quality work. Thanks Heather!

Since day one of speaking with this company, I have been impressed and satisfied with everything. Today was my install day. I was there for over 6 hours, but it was totally worth every second! For them to take their time, explaining, walking me through the process, showing me as they went, addressing any found issues, correcting any issues within their control and so on was so amazing! I honestly have never had such a wonderful experience from a shop. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs a chip repair, crack repair or any glass replacement. They also treated my car as if it was their own. They covered my seats and cleaned up every mess that was made during the replacement and made my car look new again, as far as my windshield goes. I’m just so impressed with their customer service and compassion they have for others that you just hardly get anywhere else.

I went there today to get a 12 inch crack in my windshield repaired and it was super easy for me as the customer and also affordable. The front desk lady asked to see it, measured it and then explained to me what to expect after the service is complete. She said it will help its appearance and stop it from growing, however, it will not just disappear. She then told me it will be about a thirty minute wait. When I received my car back, the crack almost looked like it was never there. It ended up looking like a very thin scratch which was a huge improvement. I was genuinely surprised at how good it turned out and just wanted to recommend this place to anyone looking for a solution to a crack in their windshield. I’ll give them a 10/10 for friendliness and a 10/10 for service. Thank you for all you do! I will also include some before and after pictures to show you their work.

Always with a smile and good energy and the business that I’m in, I’m a escort transportation driver for Oversize loads unfortunately not like most people I go through probably 3 to 4 windshields a year and in between they fix different cracks chips and I’ve always With all the stuff that they do including making you feel at home the owner is one of the best people I’ve ever met. You’re always greeted at the door by this amazing dog and the women there and I don’t know if most know this she got fourth in the nation on the fastest Windshield replacement competition And I would not go anywhere else and I recommend everyone that I work with in this business and encouraging the pricing cannot compare to what everyone else charges setting an appointment. They’re always on time. They always contact you and let you know top-notch.

I seriously don't think I can do this place justice. I have 3 cars, which all have glass damage due to hail. So far I've taken one of them to Stop A Crack. I took my vehicle to them at 8:30am, had my back window installed and ready to go in about an hour. Gina was a sweetheart and answered all of my questions, and Heather was a pro in installing my back window. Oh! Don't want to forget about Buddy! Very sweet doggo. I'll be taking my business to this place from now on! Update: Took my 2nd vehicle to Stop A Crack. Once again, Heather and her crew did not disappoint. Lashanda was a sweetheart at the front desk. Still cannot recommend this place enough! These people are honest and hard working. Glad I decided to take my business to Stop A Crack. The reviews were on point.

I've NEVER had tinted windows ever, so I decided to use some of my stimulus money on my car. I've been normally using this place to fix the cracks in my windshield for YEARS! I've always enjoyed the people! They are down to earth and don't put a death grip on your wallet. So I decided to spoil myself on my ride. 1st I didn't know my car has 10 windows. 2nd They told me that it takes time. It wasnt about speed, the QUALITY OF WORK! WHICH WAS AWESOME!!! 3. I was so like a kid at Christmas... I was about to grab and go but they said hold up, we didn't vaccuum it yet. I was like what?! Sooo wasn't expecting a vaccuum. Well that's my 2 cents plus some other change that I wanted to share about them.
